Chestnuts Bed & Breakfast

Pearl and her husband were incredibly hospitable. They provided the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had! With fresh local bread, berries, eggs and more. The room was very comfortable and clean. It’s a short scenic walk to town. Would definitely stay here again.

A beautifully furnished large room with a view and exit into the garden via patio doors. All the facilities and more, were present, bath robes and even a hot water bottle! Continental breakfast was available with healthy options for gluten free and seeds, as well as fried eggs with ham. Hosts were friendly, helpful and informative of the area and what was going on. A real gem of a place to find! Thank you.

Beautiful, ultra-clean, spacious room. Perfect tub. Excellent soap. Convenient kitchen, in which to fix a late night snack. Delicious breakfast of mixed berries and muesli, cheese, smoked salmon and eggs. The owner operator couple and their lodgings couldn't have been any nicer.

Pearl and Duncan are the some of the nicest most hospitable people we have come across. I would highly recommend and we will absolutely returning.

I don’t often stay in B&Bs but my stay at Chestnuts might change my mind. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed and felt both at ease and also left alone. My bed (Chestnut Room) was so comfortable I had an afternoon nap, a full nights sleep AND a morning nap before checkout! Breakfast was delicious, a good spread, in the conservatory/breakfast room. I asked for something from the owner for my room and she went out of her way to find it. The location for Glastonbury high st was also less than 10 mins walk, though a steep walk back up. Really can’t fault anything. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was amazing with an assortment of breads, cheese, yogurt, fruit plus hot eggs and coffee.' The hosts were very gracious as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Got our trip around Britain off to an Amazing, A+++ start with our first night at The Chestnuts in Glastonbury! We only stayed one night due to wanting to put the miles on our rental car and see a lot of England, Wales, and Scotland, but we look forward to our 2nd trip and plan to do a more concentrated visit which will most certainly include more time in G-bury and several more nights at The Chestnuts. So very clean, comfortable, and welcoming—the perfect hone away from home.

A lovely B&B run by Pearl and Duncan. They make you feel at home and are delightful. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks you two.
