Hotel Kavia

very simple hotel. when it rains the elevator stops working, from the 15 days that we stay it rained 13, so the elevator becames a problem. improvised reception because I believe they had problems with the last hurricane. very well located, on the main avenue of the center, many food options nearby, supermarket etc. excellent room, after seeing the exterior of the hotel the room surprised me, much better than the exterior. Overall, for a few nights it's ok, for many nights I don't recommend it.

Excelente hotel por el precio pagado. Solo fue una noche para dormir antes de volver de viaje, cerca de restaurantes y comercio. habitación e instalaciones en buenas condiciones. Personal muy amable.

This hotel is excellent, no complaints....except for the WiFi, it’s that important in the grand scheme of things I know, but very frustrating when trying to skype home.

The hotel is decent but almost seems like the entrance is in an alley. The room is decent. You get what you pay for. It's centric so good location. However.....when I was checking out. I was told the room had to be inspected before I left. I asked for what. They said to make sure everything is good. I said ok, because I knew I didn't do anything wrong. It was one night. The house keeper comes back and says the bath towels are missing. I said, I'm sorry but i didn't even use the towels. They insisted I took them. We thought about it. And we only saw 2 small towels by the sink and tiolet. Long story short, TAKE VIDEO, TAKE INVENTORY OF EVERYTHING IN THAT ROOM to cover your butt!!! They asked us, what did your room look like when you got in?? Excuse me.? I was tired. We only used this room to literally rest! I didn't know we had to take inventory. I told them, if you noticed, the bed sheets were not even used, bc i have my own. As i had my own towels as well! I told them i was not a thief! And they can check my luggage! And FYI --They will never loose a battle! That is how people in Cancun are... A$$holes. I truly love coming here, but people are jerks.

Location was great . But the internet signal was not reliable. Also we misplaced our key and had to pay $100 pesos for an additional card key. They wouldn’t let me check in at 252 had to wait in the car until exactly 3pm. The property had 2 pools only one was in use despite the photos. Also upon check out I had to wait for them to inspect the room, that was super uncomfortable. The room listing said city view, all we could see was the back side of someone’s home. The only nice staff encounter we had was with the breakfast server. The others were prissy and not very welcoming.

Loved staying here, staff was friendly, there’s no actually bar anywhere in the hotel even though there was a set up for it. The rooftop jacuzzi was not working and the water for the shower was always either boiling or cold. WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms either. And my brush went missing which was very random, no one saw anything they said.

The location is less to be desired but served its purpose for a short stay. Our TV kept going in and out of service and the internet was either down or they gave us the incorrect password.

I loved the location, lots of street food and a 2 min walk to a nice park for the kids. The staff was amazing the beds super conftable. I loved my stay
