The Cumberland Hotel by NEU Collective

Our stay there was to celebrate a special occasion and the hotel itself was kind enough to upgrade us to a duplex room which was very kind of them but unfortunately it seems no one checked the room before we arrived as one of the upper level windows had a missing curtain. This meant the room would be flooded with light at sunrise. We were unable to fix curtain ourselves as you’d only be able to reach the curtain with a very long ladder! We asked it could be fixed or if we could change rooms. No maintenance was available and they didn’t change our room which was disappointing. Light flooding in from a 2 by 3 meter window above your bed at 6am wasn’t pleasant at all. But the breakfast was lovely and we would certainly stay again. They should of checked the room before and ensured the curtain wasn’t damaged/missing

The Cumberland was excellent. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The rooftop was a lovely little oasis that caught the sun throughout the day. The rooms were stylish with nice amenities (Milton Brown), with a different layout (no surrounding windows, just a sky light). Overall perfect stay and will return!

The hotel's location is fantastic, very central, close to shops, restaurants, bus terminal and the water. But it's also tucked away so it's not too busy or noisy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Simple and good breakfast included. The room we stayed at was very spacious. Will definitely stay there again!

Lovely hotel with h friendly, helpful staff. Rooms well equipped and superb views from roof terrace.

Terrific location. Spacious room. Poor internet - slow, uncertified and unreliable.

Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Valletta and easy walking distance to shops bars and other attractions. Room was superb for a family. Although perhaps the mezzanine would be a little difficult with young children. but was large with a kitchen and dining area so ample space, with TV on both floors. WiFi not great Breakfast was superb with lots variety Staff very accommodating, helpful and friendly. I would come back to this hotel

Beautiful small boutique hotel in the center of historic Valletta. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Only complaint is the shower temperature can be temperamental going from a normal hot to scalding hot without notice.

Right in the center of Valletta. Very classic modern hotel convenient to the old town. Staff very helpful and super friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel is in the center of o pedestrian only street, but taxi can drop you off one half block away. Not too far from major bus plaza, about a ten minute walk.

Superb cook-to-order breakfast. Personal service. Perfect location. Great value.

Pefect location. Central for all amenities & sites. Staff friendly & attentive. Room excellent with lovely terrace.
