Henn na Hotel Tokyo Hamamatsucho

The location of the hotel is superb, just a couple of minutes' walk from JR and subway lines, a few minutes from shopping and restaurants as well. There is a Tully's, 7-11, and Lawson right around the corner. The room was very small, but typical for a Tokyo hotel room. The photos of the rooms are accurate, please don't listen to the people whining about space. They clearly did a) not know what a Tokyo hotel room looks like and b) did not pay attention to what they were booking. For me personally, the bed was horrible. I need a much softer bed and out of all the hotels on our 3 week stay in Japan, this was the hardest mattress we had. Not a downside, just a heads up for those that care. The robots were fun and interesting, but it was short-lived. They're only at the check in desk, so it's a pretty typical hotel after that. I was sort of hoping there would be more robot stuff going on elsewhere in the hotel, but oh well. :) If what you're looking for is a place to sleep that's conveniently located, clean, and a nice place, this is a fantastic hotel.

Clean & comfortable hotel. Rooms are very small but expected for Tokyo. Really convenient location right over the road from Hamamatsucho JR station and monorail so offers easy access to Haneda airport. Robot check in was unique!

Great location! Tight space

This hotel is clean and tidy, BUT IT IS TOO CRAMPED for 2 people; the one aisle is too narrow, and there are no drawers and practically no shelves, there are some hangers, BUT IT NEEDS MORE HANGING HOOKS, and shelving/counters.

If you don't mind a room with just enough room to squeeze your suitcases open and jump into bed, then this is the place for you. The bed was super comfortable, the wifi was great and the TV was absolutely massive and came with chromecast so no need to attempt to decipher Japanese TV shows, you can just watch whatever you want from your phone OR from the complimentary phone that is given to you with the room. It was super handy as a back-up to carry with us during the day and you get free calls in Japan and surrounding countries. The room also came with a free-standing steaming machine by LG, which, admittedly, wasn't really useful for us casual tourists but would come in handy on a business trip. It's in a very convenient location 5 minutes away from Hamamatsucho station that's on the JR Yamanote line (perfect for Rail Pass holders). Plus, you are close to a Lawson and 7-Eleven as well as a Denny's restaurant that is open late in case you return from your travels late. Although a lady had to come out and check us in because the robots didn't manage to (probably because we weren't Japanese nationals and needed a proper human to confirm we were in the country), overall the hotel is superb value for money.
