Hotel 52, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

From first sight, yards from seafront we were very pleased with the position. We were delighted with our huge room on the top floor that felt like a suite, chairs, coffee table, Seated dressing table, sofa, huge king bed, kettle and gusto coffee maker as well as an enormous bathroom! Beautifully decorated. Despite visiting during difficult times we found everything to make our stay perfect, a bar within the hotel grounds and a fantastic, have to experience it Thai restaurant next door where we had a wonderful experience and such fun thanks to the great staff! Breakfast was fantastic and everything was on offer. Truly great experience and when we return we will be staying here!

Good budget hotel but in need of a revamp .. rooms were clean .. but plumbing needs sorting as shower and sink took ages to drain .. radiators didn’t work so room very cold .. but staff gave us a heater .. overall nice Budget hotel good location for exploring the Northumberland coast .. staff very friendly and helpful ..

All's good with the stay . Large room and toilet , Cosy Dinning area . Staff lovely and Friendly. Amenities close by.

For the price it was very good and convenient. Only 2 problems. I was in room 6 and everytime someone walked down the corridor, the wall behind my bed shook, also I bought a pint of cider in the bar and it was flat and tasted of line cleaner

Had to move room no hot water at all in first room second room hot water in shower but not at sink toilet lid broken told if I had not said anything they wouldn't have known but boiler broken so no hot water in sink for all the week why isn't these things checked on a regular basis.

Noise from the bar on the ground floor makes it virtually impossible to sleep before 13:30. Staff are polite, but common hygiene standards are poor ... coughing into hand then carrying plates, carrying glasses with thumb on the inside. Little to no evidence of surfaces being wiped down. This hotel is a Covid nightmare waiting for it’s first transmission!!!

Nice comfortable room,though my children had to share a bed. Maybe due to Covid-19 no cleaners went into room during our stay,and no towels changed. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

The receptionist was very helpful and great at her job.

This is a nice hotel and staff are very friendly, only downside is breakfast. Once Covid is over then book breakfast. You will see from photo what you get for £8
