Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Airport South - Robinson Mall

The staff was not helpful or courteous. Our family stood there waiting to check in while the lady continued her conversations on the phone. Did not apologize or even address us when she was finally off the phone. Poor customers service.

A little hard to find at night. It’s in a large shopping area that’s a bit confusing finding the turns. The property itself is nice.

This was by far a disappointing hotel for our family trip to Pittsburgh. They stated they were short handed with their cleaning staff. That was beyond evident since our room wasn't cleaned for 2 days. By day 3, I had to ask them to be sure to clean the room. Why should I be asking this? The funny thing here is that when I did ask for our room to be cleaned on night number 1, they had the audacity to ask if I was sure the room was dirty Yes, I'm sure. Good lord. I'm paying for a clean room and decent service. Both of which were absent.

At checking the gentleman that checked us in, stated the confirmation number I had from hotels.com was not one he would use and all he had on his computer was my reservation for one room. I stated and showed him my confirmation for Teo rooms and he then went on to say that’s my problem and I would have to deal with hotels. Com with that. After getting upset he finally gave us the two rooms even after saying he only had one room left

Family trip, in town for my kids dance competition- event was at the Pittsburgh airport Hyatt but we refuse to stay there. Check in went well but we were given a room across from pool...”since we have kids.” We get to the room and before even unlocking it, notice the room next to us has a toddler having a screaming fit so we immediately returned to front desk and asked for a different room which we were given without any issue (desk also heard the screaming kid from around corner behind closed door) Rest of stay was excellent. Room had mini fridge and microwave. I did notice the incoming flight noise several times, planes are directly overhead during landing to Pittsburgh airport, not terribly bothersome unless you are a light sleeper. We will definitely return.
