MAXX by Steigenberger Hotel Vienna

It was nice. However, there were not enough beds in the sauna area, the cable channels were an odd selection, and the phone flashed green every time there was a call to the reception. I was also told there was a VIP offer which was then never delivered.

Great location. Very nice hotel.

Stayed here as a little bit of a splurge (although it wasn't much more than we wanted to spend), we felt like we were in a high-end luxury hotel. It was a wonderful place, friendly staff, clean room. Close to the subway lines making it very easy to get into the city center. We would definitely stay at Falkensteiner again!

We had a wonderful time especially we got a room upgraded to the top floor with a huge balcony. The bed was so comfortable that we fell asleep at once and the room is very quiet (amazing that we barely hear any sound though the hotel is next to main street). The subway station is within walking distance and easy to locate. Another great thing the super-market is next to hotel. You may be watchful while passing the park when back to home at night (it is quite dark and may not be aware people hanging around).

Room was clean & personnel were friendly and helpful. We like the apples & water that welcomed us to the hotel. Hotel was conveniently located near a metro & only 3 stops to the Schonbrunn Palace. Restaurant hours were not convenient for early dinner, but could get food at bar which was tasty.
