Amazing balcony, the best view of Positano. When you google search “positano” and get the perfect beautiful photos of the colored houses, that is what you will see from Alicone Residence. Very helpful staff, always felt clean and safe on property.

My boyfriend and I booked 5 nights in this place and we were very sad to leave. We loved everything about this place, but the balcony and the location are the top highlights. We coule literally walk anywhere around the town as the hotel is pretty much in the middle of all the attractions and just a short walk downhill to the beach. The service is amazing and they served ua breakfast in our balcony every morning. This is a place to enjoy the beauty of the room and view to Positano. If you want a swimming pool or hotel restaurant you can simply reach out to great places within 3 minutes walk where you can pay for a day pass to access the swimming pool and of course have a meal with an amazing view at the end of your day. They also took are of our car by taking it to the car park for us for an extra 5 euros. We couldn't be any happier in this place. Everything was perfect.

We loved our two night stay at Alcione Residence! The staff was very friendly, the location was great, the room was clean, bright, and airy. Can't say enough about breakfast served on our terrace - it was a great way to start each day!

First of all, the property has a phenomenal view of Positano and the Mediterranean Sea. We had never been to Italy and our dream has always been to visit the Amalfi coast. After reading dozens of reviews on several properties on Expedia, we took a chance and booked two nights at the Alcione Residence. We stretched out financially and chose a room on the third floor of the residence, but I don’t believe there would be a bad view from any room on the property. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to the beach and shopping areas in Positano, but be ready to negotiate some serious inclines and stairs! But as a result, you will be able to walk off the calories from the marvelous food in Positano. The staff at the Alcione was outstanding and catered to our every need. The breakfast (included) was delivered to our room at the requested time by an extremely dedicated (and strong) young woman who carried a full tray of food up three flights of stairs to our room. The room was very clean and well apportioned with all the requisite hair tools for my wife and a small clothes washer which was a lifesaver (we had been on the road for eight days). But the most incredible part of our stay at the Alcione was the huge private balcony off our room which had the most stunning view I’ve ever seen. If you plan to stay in Positano, we highly recommend The Alcione Residence.

Good location helpful staff clean and property well maintained

My husband is relatively particular when it comes to hotels and Alcione Residence exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, had a large room and bathroom, and of course amazing views. It was great to have breakfast delivered to the room every morning and we eat ate sitting on the terrace overlooking positano every morning. The location is perfect with dozens of food and shopping options within 10 minutes walking distance. I would argue that you have the best view in the area. There is a popular bar called Franco’s right across the street that people literally line up to get into for the view, and you are getting that same view from your room. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back!

Have you watched Under the Tuscan Sun?The hotel witch the boy friend of the heroine lived is next to this hotel.And the view from the balcony is same as the movie. Need something more?Very friendly staffs.Good breakfast.And you could have the good breakfast on you balcony with the priceless view.

Our room & balcony were spacious & the views terrific. This is not the height of luxury but that is not what we were looking for. The location is excellent, not too high up & thus close enough to the town but high enough for great views. We stayed in the room in the photograph to the left. The staff were exceptional, the best we have come across. The girls are awesome & a delight. Breakfast was also plentiful & lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the on-site team - the handyman even glued together our broken porcelain fridge magnet before our departure! And a piece of advice, do take up the hotel's offer for organising taxi's to & from the airpor & elsewhere. Sensible pricing & a fleet of black Mercedes with great drivers. We had a fabulous stay & took the hotel's advice of a 12 person boat trip to Capri which was the highlight of our stay...

The property at Alcione Annex exceeded our expectations. Martina is the BEST. She made us feel so welcome and answered any questions we had as well as arranging for special dinner arrangements. The views are amazing from all rooms. Particularly the master bedroom terrace and window in the master bath. The outside garden terrace was amazing and we ate out there and had lazy afternoon basking in the sun. We could see all beautiful yachts moored along the coast and we could see the private beach club which we had to go to. The Villa is located 5 min away from Alcione Residence which is on the main street with all restaurants and shops. Close to the steps to get down to the marina and beach. So many things to do. We highly recommend staying here and we plan to go back.
