Holiday Inn Express Cleveland

Clean, easily accessible , and well executed Covid measures in place.

Check in was very easy. Room was delightfully comfortable after a long day in the truck. Bathroom was very clean but would have liked to have had nicer towels. The towels were thin and rough. I also did a load of laundry and that was very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was great. The staff was awesome. The room was clean and very spacious. Great stay, will return.

Would have been great is the poool was open! Place was clean and quiet.

The TV remote in my room did not work so I called the front desk. The receptionist told me: "Well, I don't have a maintenance guy here. Do you want another room?" Not really, but okay. Went down to get the key. I had to ring the bell to get her to come out from behind the wall. She knew I was on my way. Receptionist doesn't make eye contact, doesn't smile, doesn't apologize for the inconvenience. Says nothing to me. Just hands me the key. Got to the new room. Checked the TV. Remote not working. Went back down to get a key to a different room. Receptionist was clearly annoyed that I would dare do that. Said nothing. Handed me the key. Got to the room, checked the remote -- Not working. So I checked out and found a different hotel with a working TV. I travel WEEKLY and stay in hotels every week. I am an IHG member. I know how to operate a damn remote in a Holiday Inn. This hotel is pathetic

The entire staff here was so awesome! Very helpful and friendly. Breakfast did not disappoint as it has at other places. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Price was very reasonable for the value, service, and hospitality.

The front desk was kind of rude and wouldn't even look at you in the eyes when speaking to you. The first room they gave me either hadn't been cleaned or still was occupied. Seemed upset at me that I came back to ask for a different room, and of course it was not the same type of room that I had booked.

We have stayed here before and the room was clean and remodeled it looked like but the smell from maybe a carpet cleaner was overwhelming. I went to front desk and asked about it, she said it probably was that and would move us. I told her we had already messed up both beds and unpacked so would tough it out. We probably should have just moved to a new room.
