Hotel Posada de Roger

Love Rosie at the front desk, and the maids are always so nice and pleasant. It’s a wonderful place if you’re looking for inexpensive, super close to everything, not the fanciest place to stay.

The location is fabulous, close walk to the Malecon, restaurants and bars. Very nice front reception, helped us with everything we needed including taxi service to the airport. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Only issue we had was we were on fourth floor and we are in are 60’s, with no elevator our calf’s and knees got a little sore. Lots of children up in the morning in the pool but we needed to get up and see things in PVR anyway. Great Air Conditioning and hot water for a smaller boutique hotel. Thank you Hotel Posada de Roger for a nice stay.

The room was very small causing me to feel cramped in a small space. The bathroom was also extremely small. Very noisy at night the first 2 nights from people in another room or rooms. After I mentioned this to hotel staff after the second night of extreme noise the noise discontinued. Therefore, the preceding interfered with my ability to rest. The water was not hot for showers and the water pressure from shower was not strong at all. I mentioned this to a hotel staff person and he mentioned if I wanted water to be hotter I would need to run the hot water for awhile since due to location of the water heater/boiler in the hotel it would take awhile for hot water to reach my room shower. In conclusion I would Not Stay at this hotel again. If I visit Puerto Vallarta, Mexico again I will find a hotel with a much larger room and much better shower facility.

Budget hotel with personality in a great location. Could use a little updating of bedding and new pillows. Mini fridge available for an extra daily fee. Would definitely stay again.
