El Pescador Hotel

Nice small Quiet Beach front hotel that at any time of day you can hear the waves on the beach the staff was nice. Do not like all the rocks on the beach lots of nice restaurants are walking distance. Happy hour is a way to spend the evening watching the wonderful PV sunset.

Great location. Excellent staff. Very clean. Hotel is a bit outdated.

Perfect location

A few years ago,this was a great budget hotel.Occupancy cost has increased dramatically.In the past,we stayed in an ocean front room but they are now priced out of our budget .From what we could see,the only changes in the hotel have been in price.The room lacks a hair dryer/coffee maker/microwave/fridge.The back rooms have their doors very close together so someone knocking can be easily heard in the other rooms.The room however was very clean and the staff very pleasant.The pool was clean and the grounds are kept tidy.Leys grocery store is close by and has a great choice of premade meals.If I stayed here again,I would go back to the ocean front room which overlooks the pool and the beach.The beach itself was covered in stones as there was a great deal of wave action.WIFI was spotty in the back room but good in the lobby.

Spent 9 days....had a wonderful time....the hotel is a little gem ...just off the Malacon....the housekeeping staff, front desk and servers in dinning room are all so friendly,polite and work very hard to make your stay the best....I was unhappy about the wire fence an having to walk down to the ocean...but after a few days ,I realized this fence added to the the privacy...people could not come in and try to sell stuff....it was wonderful to sit by the pool,facing the ocean an being able to read with out interruption...would defiantly comeback...
