Quality Inn & Suites Maggie Valley - Cherokee Area

The hotel was very clean looking. Very accommodating with me with a late check in since I was coming from out of state. The breakfast was good.

I have never been treated with such disrespect that I did from this hotel! We encountered some of the rudest treatment. One of the hotel staff decided to cause damage to our luggage box where we couldn’t even close it properly because he hit it with his truck. He would not even reason with us and we had to get the police involved. Even when trying to talk to the lady, Denise Waters she was also very rude and defensive to us. All we wanted was an apology and some large bags to put the items from the luggage box in so they would not get wet and destroyed on the way home. (She would only give us 2) another issue we had was the pool n hot tub. The hot tubs jets were not working and it had way Too many chemicals in it! Upon returning to our room our skin was burning and itching and the color of our bathing suits had changed. The staff would not even check the water. On a side note DO NOT CALL Denise Waters ”a lady” apparently she think that to be so offensive. Out of everyone on this property Rosa the one doing breakfast did tell us sorry and snuck us more bags! Horrible that they had to be snuck to us!

The room was very clean! The bed was comfortable ! The breakfast was good lots to choose from even bacon sausage and eggs plus all the normal continental breakfast foods. We were shocked at what we got for the price. Will definitely stay there again!

I've stayed here for years when it was a different chain, but it was getting run down. I am so happy to say Quality Inn has turned it into a brand new place. Clean, quiet, comfortable, AND inexpensive!

Friendly staff and great stay. I highly recommend.
