Dorint Thermenhotel Freiburg

Just AMAZING, Great breakfast, relaxing thermal baths, very comfortable bed and pillows. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and the hotel staff just went the extra miles to help me make it a memorable one, from breakfast in the room with a birthday cake, late check-out and flowers delivery. We were both very happy of our stay and are looking forward to coming back!

Bed was terrible and after the 2nd nigh we couldn't get up because of back pain! mattress is too soft that you curve in!

I’ve been to this hotel before and really enjoyed it. Such a pity that this time it was not obvious that the spa was closed for renovation

Great hotel from a quality chain. The lack of air conditioning was not a problem to us but I can understand why some see it as a problem. Fantastic breakfast.

Beautiful location! The spa next door is closed until September. If you are using the city bus line to go to the city, do your research about the trams and their routes and service times, otherwise you will get stranded somewhere and have to find a taxi. Cleaning staff walked and said “hello” instead of knocking. Awkward. But, it’s a fantastic location, and excellent facilities!

Quiet and away from the city noise, relaxing and comfortable.

Currently there is a major construction site next to the hotel. There is noise and disruption. When we arrived tgere was no electricity as power cable had been cut by construction work. Our hotel room view was the building site. This is a business hotel not one for private travellers. It has a soulless atmosphere and is dominated by business conferences.there were two there when we arriced. Food quality is very average and poor value for money if you do not have a conference rate.

Nice hotel with a nice spa attached - must note that the spa is not included, which we expected to have. breakfast was very good, with free wifi throughout. there were building works going on so the view wasn't too good.

It was a very average two night stay. The beds are small and creaky, they must use this facility for the recovery of patients as the room feel more like that with emergency buttons everywhere. It’s not good for a romantic weekend away or a family. However, surprisingly they have this amazing restaurant which was always full.

Really good apart from trouble with the door unlock which was very frustrating and getting to the spa...down the road in dressing gowns when there was an underground path directly from the hotel to the spa!!!
