Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre

It’s very clean, wasn’t a fan of the wall paper in our room. Was blurry and bright. Much different that the photos. But overall it was nice. Not spectacular. But nice. And genuinely clean. The floors were noticeably clean. There was just some dirt drips on the trim in the bathroom. Easy check in. Restaurant on site wasn’t great. Wouldn’t eat there again. Parking on site fills up quick and you wonder if everyone really has a tag. We almost didn’t get parking after dinner and the stalls are very narrow and we have a tiny car.

We enjoy staying at the Coast because it’s a close walk to downtown, has a great restaurant with friendly staff and is easy to get to.

Relatively tidy, clean room, comfortable beds, fresh linensand extra coffee etc upon request. Our room had a super view of the mountains

Hotel and room were clean and staff was amazing. No daily housekeeping due to COVID but they bring you anything you need replenished (we only had a two night stay so I imagine longer stays would have housekeeping at some point). Restaraunt was the only concern. The tables have a sign that says they have been sanitized but it is just a quick wipe down and the chairs are only wiped to get the food off. There are pillows on the benches that don't get cleaned so they shouldn't be there. The bartender had his mask pulled down under his chin half of the time, while he was talking and making drinks. He kept touching his face and not sanitizing or washing his hands before making drinks. The waitress came to the bar, took off her mask, made herself a drink, drank it at the bar and carried on without sanitizing her hands. The restaraunt staff could definately use a refresher on COVID and sanitization.

I was looking forward to my stay here but it was not a great experience. There was still cleaning equipment in the room when we checked-in and the air had a chemical smell that gave me a headache. The coffee machine was dirty and unusable. At night the noise was so loud from the visitors above us, it kept waking us up. It could have been that they were just walking around their hotel room, but then there is really no sound-proofing between the floors of the hotel. I sent a message to the front desk about it at around 11pm but the noise continued off-and-on past midnight. I will not book here again.

Good location, room was nice modern and clean. Was a little dissapointed with our room location, was right off the lobby and super loud throughout the night with other guests. We were also right across from the restaurant so had to keep our blinds shut or have people looking directly into our room. Think we just had bad luck on our room location.

Chantelle was wonderful on the phone! Very pleasant and a great conversation. The gentleman at the front seemed to be interested in what our plans were for the weekend but seemed disinterested when we answered. Working in customer service, i think this gentleman needs to stay consistent. Table food was amazing too! Room was very cute. Minus the broad down the hall screaming at 2am. The guest services and housekeeping was very pleasant as well

The staff was so lovely. Friendly, accommodating in every request and informative. Close to shopping, restaurants and laundromat. Beautiful town as well
