Freedom Shores

I can't explain how amazing our stay at Freedom Shores was! We were in a group of 8 adults and 2 kids split between 2 boat houses and 2 one bedroom units. Annelise was the main reception person while we were there for 2 nights and she was the most helpful person I've ever met. Upon check in, she walked back with me to the car to help unload all of our stuff. She then gave me a tour of the room and explained a bit about the hotel. I believe they were booked out while we were there but we rarely saw anyone around and mostly had the run of the place. Annelise always checked in to make sure we didn't need anything, and often filled up an ice bucket for us without needing to be asked. We bought some food from home for lunches and Annelise gave us plates and cutlery and even heated up a container of food and delivered it out to us on the lovely deck. The pool was great, the kids loved swimming in it. Breakfast was lovely, a beautiful coffee machine, plenty of options.. I loved the pastries!! The lobby/reception area has the most comfortable couches that I've ever sat on. The beds were amazing, and I've taken a photo of the pillows to try find them for home. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the carpet and couches were well looked after. I didn't feel the need to wear shoes because of gross looking carpet. Overall, we had the most fabulous couple of days and I can't wait to get back there soon. Thank you so much Annelise for all of your help, we really, really appreciate it!

This is the best place to stay in Airlie and surrounds. The uniqueness of this place is what makes it special. The service , the views and proximity to Northerlies is truly are all truly amazing. Do yourself a favour and get there..

We just loved the quietness, the beauty and especially the excellent service. We had a wonderful experience staying there. We would recommend to everyone to stay here if travelling to the Whitsundays.
