The hotel is decently located in the northern reach of Xinhua Nanlu, one of the central street in Urumqi. The rooms I got (I stayed there twice actually, on the way there and back) were very clean (although a faint smell of WC pervaded the room the second time around), spacious, well-equipped (I was shocked to find even some rather intimate supplies in the bathroom), the price may seem high for China but compared to european ratings it's still a steal (pardon the pun) at very comparable comfort level. Some of the staff speaks English for the time when my Chinese failed me, it's also a bonus.
