I wanted to book a hotel in Japan which was not too expensive, close to Ueno and Ginza etc on the trains, and on the airport side of the city to reduce... airport travel time. I also wanted a tatami and futon style room, as it was my partner's first visit to Japan and I wanted him to experience a more traditional Japanese style. The futons were comfortable, the bathroom was tiny (as standard for Japan) but tidy and well equipped, the staff spoke very little English but we did not really need them as we did not have any problems, and the hotel is located very close to temples and there are plenty of food options around, including a 24-hour store across the road. The front desk is also open at all hours, great for early visits to Tsukiji market! The only things that would make this hotel better would be a closer train station (a good ten mins walk, which was absolutely fine except with luggage to and from the airport) and it would be super to have Wifi!! автор: Sarah от New Zealand; дата: 14/03/2013
