This no frills hotel was in a great location - about 3 minute walk to trains - and about a 20 minute walk to the center of Shinjuku. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood and if you don't want to eat out there are many small shops selling food to take away. The bathroom was little more than a closet with a short tub and shower, but did the trick non the less. If you are looking for luxury and comfort, this is not the place for you. We, family of 2 adults and 3 children had a pleasant stay for 4 nights in Hotel Empire. The hotel is located at the residential area but close to Shin-okubo station and eating stores and shops so very convenient for us.

The location of the hotel was its best feature. Its very close to the Shinjuku station, just about 2-3 blocks away. The hotel is kinda hiding on a little back street, but if you go down the right street, you cannot miss it. The rooms are small, but it's Tokyo, this is expected. I have stayed in many hotels in Japan. I had the opportunity to see the single room, and it is similar to most other hotel rooms for the price. A single bed, with a tiny bathroom and television. You don't really need more, but don't expect two people to fit in the single room. You'll barely fit in there with your luggage. That said, I did not stay […] in the single room, as I was traveling with a group. We stayed at Hotel Empire for over a week - we had four people in the three bedroom suite. Our room had a tiny living area, a full sized bathroom with a walk-in shower and tub, and two large bedrooms. There was a lot of storage space if you choose to use it - three closets and lots of shelving. We slept on futons instead of western beds. All of the rooms have televisions, refridgerators, and hair dryers. I didn't see any bugs, and while the futons had lots of stains, our rooms were cleaned daily. The front desk staff was very friendly, and helped arrange travel to and from the airport at a discounted rate with no problem. The hotel is in a great location, if you take a left out of the front door, and walk to the main road, there are two JR stations that can take you anywhere in the city. There are also a lot of small shops and places to eat nearby. In general, the neighborhood is quiet, but it is close enough to the train station that you can be on your way in less than five minutes. receptionists are not familiar with general tourist needs like taxis, trains practices. bathroom is not clean with lichen on shower curtain and wash basins.

My family is satisfied with the hotel - simple and no-fuss. The hotel is located next to 2 subway stations which are very convenient for my family. Foodwise and with the vending machines around nearly every corners, my family is well satisfied.

Overall the hotel is good in location. We have booked quadpules room. It neither big nor small. Just nice for 4 of us. The staff is abit not friendly but who cares!

Good 4 night stopover with lift. No need to lug luggage up and down stairs unlike other small japan motels. There is even a refridgerator. Towels and toothbrushes were replaced daily.

The bed consisted of a box spring and mattress on the floor, with no frame. Basically everything seems old and worn out.

Basic, comfortable and only 15 mins walk from Shinjuku station east exit. For the price we paid, (very cheap for Shinjuku) I wasn't expecting a palace. The room was large for Tokyo, air con was great, small fridge included, free computer access in reception and staff were great. Don't let the low score for comfort fool you. This is an excellent little hotel. However you should be aware of the realities.... This is a bare-bones establishment - no frills, no cable TV, and such like in your room - and it really is a place to lay your bones at the end of the day. It is little hard to find, and I know tokyo very well I spent 7 years there. Also this property use to be a business hotel and just re open with the new name. in our room we had 2 beds how ever one bed was 2 mattresses on top each other no bed frame. Fem minuter till tågstation. Bageri i kvarteret. Toaletten väldigt liten. Morgonsol på balkongen. Personal med lite engelskakunskap. Ingen frukost finns men kylskåp på rum.

A nice enough hotel with a great location in a quiet neighborhood with two railway station a couple of minutes away. Room was not perfectly clean, but that didn't bother much. Cleaners visited every day to make the bed and change towels etc. For this price didn't expect it to be anything more. Room had the necessities needed, fridge, tv, hair dryer... […] Only thing I missed a little bit was a water boiler. But then again, there was a microwave oven in the lobby. 我再此旅店住了六晚，覺得櫃檯服務並不是非常好。有三個輪值人員，第一天遇到的服務員並不友善。第一晚入住我們被分置在二樓，由於空間過小，門外清楚的註記這是2員房，我認為這是旅店因為房數不夠位了應急才增床房間，由於我們有三個人所已感受到房間過擠。另外，旅店所提供之用具只有兩套，與我入住時登記要三人之要求不符，需要一而再再而三的提出要求她們才會改進。至第二天再我的要求下才被換到第四樓層較大的房間。飯店設備太老舊。彈簧床品質參差不齊，有高低落差，所使用之床單及被子花色也不一致。衛浴空間狹小不打緊，裕廉已長黴菌，另外，馬通有不通的情況。晚上回到房間還會發現旅店並未打掃乾淨的毛髮，整體而言，這次的居住經驗讓我十分失望，要不是已經付費且不能退也在當時找不到其他飯店空房，否則我絕對不會想住下來，這大概是我幾次 […] 到東京以來，差不多價位的房價中，住過最差的房間。 Подробнее

裝潢有點老舊, 但服務上大致不錯, 也算乾淨, 位置離JR山手線的新大久保站及JR中央線的大久保站都算近。

Die Angestellten waren alle sehr freundlich und haben mir immer geholfen, wenn ich Fragen oder Probleme hatte. Das Hotel bietet einen freien Internetzugang an, besitzt eine Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher. Jeden Tag wird das Zimmer gesäubert. Das einzige negative sind die sehr dünnen Wände und das man Gespräche auf normaler Zimmerstärke trotzdem im Nebenzimmer […] hören konnte. Aber ansonsten ist das Hotel wirklich wunderbar für einen Aufenthalt in Japan, nur etwas schwer zu finden, aber anhand von dem McDonald kann man sich es doch leicht merken, wo es sich befindet und in der Nähe sind auch zwei Stationen und durch eine Station fährt sogar die Yamanote Linie. Quarto muito pequeno. Não tinha camas - os colchões direto no chão. Boa wi-fi. Boas opções de restaurantes na rua próxima. Bem localizado - a 5 minutos do metrô.

飯店附近有大久保和新大久保站，往大馬路走有很多商家與店面非常熱鬧。因為是舊飯店所以外觀普通，但房間相當舒適。服務人員好像半夜12點還是1點就會下班，所以不要太晚來check in。

Pour le prix de l'hôtel, je l'ai largement préféré aux autres hôtels de plus hauts standing. Les chambres sont petites mais tout est quasi neuf et le tout est assez mignon ! La chambre est propre. De toutes manières Tokyo n'est pas une ville où l'on squatte à l'hôtel donc celui-ci est parfait ! Wifi gratos qui marche très bien en plus. Personnel très […] gentil également. Le pire hôtel de notre séjour au Japon. Nous avions une espèce d'appartement dont la porte donnait en face de la réception. Dans un coin de la cuisine décrépie un tas d'objets divers(parapluies, planche, sacs plastiques, et un cafard mort.) Une odeur de renfermé. Par chance les chambres étaient propres et les lits aussi. C'était l'hôtel le moins cher […] de notre séjour, et il ne faut pas s'attendre à en avoir plus que ce que l'on a payé. Assez bien placé entre 2 gares, mais dur à trouver dans ces petites rues. この金額なら他のホテルの方が全然いいとおもいます。駅からはまだ近いですが、暗い路地をぬけないといけません。お勧めしません。
