Rey Apartments - Рейкьявик

Rey apartments was a pleasent experience. I got there early morning but Gier had no issues with holding my bags till the room was ready. The office is not manned all the time but an intercom brings assistance very easily. Staff was very helpful. My stay here was stress free and would do it again.

This place is super central. Finding the place can be a bit difficult, even for locals, but if you give the name of the two cross streets, they can figure it out fairly quickly. Just a tiny sign in the window to identify the place. Great room ... Clean and quiet. Close to a small grocery and a bakery. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Our room looked recently renovated; it was big and comfortably furnished with a well-equipped kitchenette. The hotel is in a quiet but central location. The owners are lovely and very helpful.

The room was very clean, the bed extremely comfortable. We where there for 5 nights, they changed the linens once, wanting to do it twice, but we said that is not necessary. Very helpful in setting up the Northern Lights tour for us. Area surrounding is very safe, almost residential, but only 1 block away from the main shopping street. Making it nice […] and quiet for sleeping. We used the kitchen in the apartment for breakfast, the grocery about 5 mins walk. Fully stocked, even had coffee and tea. All pots, pans, dishes, cups and utensils right there. Within very easy walking distance to main sight in Reykjavik. We could not have been happier with the place. The appartments are lovely, very clean when you arrive, although the cleaners onley came once while we were there, it wasn't a problame. The location was fab a minuet walk to town litrally around the corner.

My girl friend and I had a pleasant and cozy 4-nights stay at Rey Apartments during Dec 2012. The rooms are very well maintained, clean and adequately equipped with cooking utensils. The location is excellent. The nearest shop is just along the opposite street. It is in the middle of the town centre and very close to restaurants, pubs and eateries. […] We rented a car and were able to drive to the nearest grocery store merely 5 mins away. For travelers intending to rent a car, do note that there are only 2 car park slots dedicated for Rey Apartments which is just opposite the apartment. If these are taken up, there are more parking spaces further up the slope where the apartment is located. These are not far away but this will be quite a hassle especially when you are carrying a lot of luggage up the slope. Подробнее

Large, clean and excellently located. Fully equipped living/dining room separate from bedroom, good free wifi, downstairs reception doubles as a warm waiting room when you're waiting for the tour buses to pick you up.

I am actually getting ready to check out of this apartment today to head back to the US but I wanted to make sure that I wrote my review so I did not forget. This place is great. The location is close to everything you want to see. It is quiet and the owner is extremely friendly. There isn't really staff there all of the time. Lovely studio apartment. A great alternative to staying in a hotel. Very well furnished and clean. In great area close to Laugevegur but not close enough to be disturbed by the music late into the night. Great support from our host Snorrie. Definitely recommend this place. Had an excellent stay here. The shuttle bus from the airport dropped us off right outside the apartments where the owners were sitting inside their office. They were super friendly and took us up to the apartment where they gave us keys and a quick run down of the place. The studio apartment was very clean and modern. Single glazing, ground floor location and noisy vehicles and revellers meant sleep was often interrupted. Central location is excellent and the owner was helpful and friendly.

This hotel is at very good location. In the middle of downtown. We really enjoyed our two nights staying. The people in the hotel are very nice and helpful. Our flight from Boston arrived in early morning, but we were able to check in around 9am. They even helped us to move our bags to our room. Everything as good as we expected. We were very satisfied with this choice. The location was good and the room was nice. Maybe it was little inconvenient, that there was no ordinary reception. The customers were supposed to ring the doorbell outside the building, if they need any help. But after ringing a very nice and helpful man came and everything was ok.

We (2 of us) stayed at a "standard studio double room", and could not have been happier with the choice. Good size room with a clean bathroom with rain-forest-style shower. Vi på bodde på small studio rum, vilket var perfekt för just två personer, fräscht badrum och kök. Men tyvärr får rummet ett minus av oss vid anledningen av att rummet hade tunna väggar "hörde grannarna". Förvaringen av kläder i rummet var inte heller bra, det fanns fyra galgar till oss två personer och ingen direkt praktisk hylla att förvara kläder. […] Ett tips är att ta med sig egna galgar innan man kommer dit. Vi hadde et flott opphold med vår familie her. Barneseng og høystol var klar og vi vi plass til og oppbevare barnevognen. Flott leilighet og service og bare et steinkast unna Reykjaviks bese handlegate :-) Anbefaler også Vinhus som ligger rett over hotellet. De har flott og rimelig mat :-)

Vi bodde inte på Ray i slutändan då det var dubbelbokat men de löste så vi fick 2 lägenheter av Central Apartments vilka låg mitt i centrum och var väldigt fina. Vi är supernöjda på alla plan!

Mais plusieurs appartements se situent en rez de chaussée ce qui oblige à baisser continuellement les stores si l'on ne veut pas subir les regards des passants.
