After reading a hotels.com review myself & co-workers booked this hotel. We took the recommendations from one review and requested the 5th floor and an even number room as to be on the highest floor and away from the noise. Unfortunately this information was incorrect. The hotel indeed does have 5 floors, but the first floor is labeled "PB" and thus […] the highest floor is #4. And as to requested an even number room, this is true but only rooms ending 20 and below. Rooms ending in 22 and above over look a restaurant/bar that is open until 3/4am. Odd number rooms all look out toward the street and has either traffic noise, noise from a bar across the street or if the circus is still up, the circus noise. If you do not plan on sleeping much, any room is wonderful. If you are looking for a good nights sleep, I would recommend requesting a room on the highest floor (4) facing the pool (even # under ending in 20 or below). Other than having room location issues, this hotel was perfect. A brief 10 minute was gets you to the beach (Medano Beach), to the Marina with restaurants & shops or 5 more minutes and you're in the heart of Cabo. Breakfast options were adequate, the pool was perfect and the free wifi was much appreciated. Overall this hotel is perfect for an American in Mexico! Подробнее

I read all about the location and it was pretty good. The problem was our room didn't get cleaned everyday and we were there for 10 days. Also, the morning meal was very disappointing. They served beans almost everyday, but they seemed always super old. The coffee was not strong at all and the rooms were super small.

Great location if you enjoy walking and don't want to be stuck at in a resort. The beach and downtown was a 5 to 10 minute walk. Several places to eat in the area like McDonalds, Cabo Bakery, and Burrito shop (next door). Hotel offered free wi-fi, complimentary daily breakfast, daily room service, and bottled water. This hotel was built better than US standards, the food was good for a free breakfast and the staff was exemplary. The WIFI connection was slow and painful and made doing business a real chore. I hope that they can attack this problem to bring this hotel into the 21st century.

My boyfriend and I wanted an escape that wouldn't leave our wallets empty so we chose Fairfield Inn. It turned out to be perfect. The beach is about a five minute walk from the hotel and the downtown area is about the same. We spent a week in Cabo and we walked everywhere. There is also a bar restaurant and a burrito place next to the hotel. There are two computers on the main floor. The front desk offers bread, chips and other goodies. They have coffee brewing 24/7 but only give you one packet per day for the coffee maker in your room. The room provides hair dryer, iron and board, coffee maker, fridge and a safe. I enjoyed my stay, The room was cute and clean, I especially LOVED the fact that you don't have carpet. however once I returned home and checked my banking information I was charged a higher rate instead of what the original booking rate stated.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at the Playa Grande resort through an online auction. We later decided to extend our stay in Cabo, so we booked this Marriot because it was within walking distance of downtown, the marina, and Medano Beach. After staying at a 5-star resort--this was like paying to stay in the ghetto! My complaints: * The "swimming […] pool" was about the size of a postage stamp! * The room had sterile, business-like decorations--complete with plenty of black scuff marks on the wallpaper! * The shower was designed with only HALF a glass wall. So there was no way to prevent water from splashing out onto the rest of the bathroom floor! * We had FREE entertainment on Friday and Saturday (well into the wee hours of the morning!) from a live band playing LOUD music in the parking lot right outside our window! * The bathroom towels were so hard it was like scraping our skin with sandpaper! I suppose the best thing I can say about this joint was that it provided free Wi-Fi Internet access. It's the very LEAST they could do! I'm SO GLAD this was not our first and only impression of accomodations in Cabo because we'd NEVER come back if it had been! The only negative is that the rooms are smaller than they appear in the pictures. Staff are very helpfull and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was above average.

We spent 4 nights in this Hotel within walking distance of the FABULOUS Medano beach. It is brand new, very clean, free internet, friendly staff, FULL breakfast not continental with eggs, etc. Clean pool and GREAT VALUE!!!! HIGHLY recommend.

Nosotros viajamos a los cabos por trabajo por lo menos 2 veces al mes, y nos gusta llegar a este hotel por que es cómodo y tiene desayuno incluido, lo único que no nos gusto fue que la última vez que viajamos con niños, no tenían cuna para el bebe, y eso hace que sea un poco complicado, pero fuera de eso todo bien.

Es un excelente hotel. El personal muy amable en todos los aspectos. El desayuno incluido es mucho mejor de lo q esperaba. La piscina es genial. Y el hotel esta muy bien ubicado todo te queda relativamente cerca. Caminando a la playa y a la marina es muy buena opción

El cuarto aunque no era muy grande si era comodo y el hotel bien ubicado el desayuno era muy completo. Muy poco personal pero muy serviciales y ademas no era muy requeridos ya q todo estaba en orden. Al parecer el hotel es reciente y por esto esta todo casi nuevo.
