The hotel seemed very nice, new and clean at first, but once we got to our room we found items the previous guests had left on the floor-- an indication that the room wasn't really thoroughly cleaned. I have a crawling baby and had specifically asked for an extra clean room since his hands are on the ground a lot and he also puts them in his mouth. […] When the staff finally got to the room to help us move rooms, they just gave us keys but stayed back to tidy up the old room. The new room was far, and once we got our whole family there, was also dirty. There were toilet paper wads up on the ceiling above the bed and food on the ceiling. I stayed in this room because I was attending a conference nearby. It doesn't have a view of the water, although some might think so because of the name. It is beautifully decorated, well run, has a great bistro in the lobby, ample parking, convenient to many things. Just a one night stay, this Hotel is close to my work. Much less cost than the Residence Inn a block away. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I was not able to take advantage of the facilities at all, however I look forward to another stay here and make more use of the amenities. Yes, I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. My only regret is that we had a long car trailer, and when we got to the main entrance, we had to back up two turns to get a place where you can park the truck and trailer. No microwave in room makes it inconvenient. Should have at least continental breakfast instead of just coffee. Had to request for the room to be cleaned after we left for three hours. We had the "do not disturb" sign earlier but did not realize we should have requested room to be cleaned before we left.

We checked in past midnight and the front desk offered us complimentary late check-out which was very nice. No tub, but bathroom was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant one-night stay!

We enjoyed our short stay at the Courtyard. We were in town for a wedding and the hotel was located in a close proximity to the wedding venue. The room was very clean and the bed and linens were very comfortable. The room was very quiet, we did not hear any of our neighbors. Well, this place is brand-spankin new, and everything about it was PERFECT. Awesome staff, great rooms, everything worked flawlessly, easy to find. Absolutely a fantastic deal for this place. Will be bringing the whole family next time for a San Diego trip. Highly recommended.

Quite new (about 10 months), in a newly developing area about a mile away from freeway and city bustle and noise. Quiet area and breezy, fresh air (on a hill). Very nice room - King bed plus seating area with small couch and comfy chairs. Free WIRED (secure/high-speed) internet in rooms!

A beautiful hotel, well worth the price. The only thing we have to comment is that the adjoining rooms do not have ANY block of sound between them. We were up from 7am til we checked out being bombarded with kids screaming next door and banging, and being generally obnoxious. We wanted to sleep in an enjoy our morning-- but that is impossible. You can […] even hear the TV from the next room. We asked Guest Services to call them, but we never heard the phone ring. My recommendation is to ask for a room that does NOT join up to another room. It was brand new. Only has a shower in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Everyone was very helpful. The pool and grounds were beautiful. There are no restaurants close, we had to drive at least 1-2 miles to find one but we did not mind. I would stay again.

Very noisy kids running up and down the hall at 1030 at night. My 4 year old couldnt sleep, she kept getting woken up from the noise. The hotel looks outstanding, the staff on the other hand is a little lacking. It was great! Front desk and housekeeping staff were professional and courteous. The only negative was that we needed a late lunch and the Bistro wasn't open until 5. On 2 of 6 nights there were loud groups that interfered with sleep. Management should have been on top of the noise before having to complain. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay, comfortable bed.

After my disappointment that the hotel was no way near the ocean(side), I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel in general. The pool was very clean as was the little laundry room for guests (a nice feature but no air in the room and very hot after the dryers were working). The guest computers did not work very well (slow) […] and were unable to print directions or boarding passes. Another big disappointment was no free breakfast (all the other hotels on this trip included free breakfast including other Marriotts). The front desk staff was excellent. Pretty much everything was good or excellent, but there were two issues. The first one is the AC got very loud in the night, so much that I had to turn it off. The second thing, and really a major one, is the pillow are just too plush, provide no support. Me and my girlfriend had bad neck and back soreness in the morning.

My family and I were pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel, very knowledgable and helpful staff. We were on vacation and needed directions they were able to help. The grill was great and Starbucks was a perk! Pool area clean and continually stocked with towels. Would recommend to anyone.
