The Hotel building is ok enough, not over all very impressive. When we arrived the front desk staff looked to be a bit overwhelmed with customer Check-in's and out's. Christine did her best to assist us but she was so busy multitasking that she did not hear several requests that I made to be on the same floor with my family. English seemed to be a […] bit of a challenge for the bell staff. There were no wash clothes in the bathrooms, so I guess I was supposed to bathe with my bare hands. Upon check out, I was asked to sign the 'check-in' ticket.... #yep#. When I started reviewing the documents attached, I was told "...no sire that for staff only..." so after a little banter I asked the question "so, you are telling me that I cannot read the documents that you are requiring me to sign?" the Answer by the clerk was "yes sir" #affirmed by a nod of his supervisor in the background#. Nice apartment style rooms, but becuse they are registered as an Apartment hotel, they do not have a licence to serve alcohol. This is a big drawback for some. The hotel also seems to be full of group tourist from the old Sovjet states, so not great for business travellers.

location is fantastic. near Marina mall and the metro station and 10 minutes walk from the beach. hotel services are OK. rooms are not very clean and had to call staff several times to clean the room.

The location of the hotel was very good, walking distance to the metro station, and close to all the malls and tourist places. the staff were helpful and friendly and very quick in assisting us with all queries and concerns. Our room was neat and clean and spacious. We enjoyed the swimming pool area.

42C in June.The Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The doorman opened the door for us every time we stepped outside. The room was basic and small although was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Large TV, Large Fridge, Freezer and Washing Machine with Dryer, Microwave, Safe and Plates/Cups. Swimming pool was nice, fresh towels were […] provided. The hotel is a good cheaper basic option. The metro is only a 5 minute walk. There is also a supermarket 4 minute walk away and a small shopping centre with a Waitrose 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction. The Marina is again 5-10 minutes walk away and is very pleasent. The nearest public beach is 15 minute drive away, however the hotel offers a convenient free shuttle bus there and back every day, hassle free. My advice is do not book with the hotel conceirge it was very expensive and we only found this out late. It didn't seem that expensive at the time of booking, but after looking around we were finding trips for half the price! The conceirge adds 100AED per person onto every single trip for the transportation and thats how they make their money. In many cases things are only a 5-10min taxi ride away or even the Metro is only £3 a day! Book elsewhere! Metro was 16AED per person for an all day unlimited ticket which was convinient. This hotel is a basic hotel that is safe and has everything you need, but if you are looking for luxury look elsewhere and if you can afford it definitely spring for a beach hotel! Подробнее

Hotel is actualy a good 3 star in quality. Staff are very good and helpfull Rooms are mini apartments with self catering facilities which would be usefull with several supermarkets nearby. If you get a poor room, ask to change and view options first - upper floors are best for view and the most modern.

we were in a room which had a joint door with another room. there was not a good noise isolation. there was always a very strong smell of some kind of a cleaning detergent in the corridor going to the elevator on the floor we were at.

Stayed here for 9 nights in November, travelling for work. It's a great location, a short walk from the Marina, the metro and from Marina Mall. The rooms have a small kitchen, washing machine, fridge/freezer etc. - everything you need. Had to move rooms 3 times due to noise - first time we were put on the 3rd floor just above the main road. Next time […] we had a door a joining the next room, which meant you could hear absolutely everything next door - including when the new guests arrived at 3am, sounded like someone was trying to break in to our room. The final room was in a corner and was fine. The front desk staff were very helpful in moving our rooms, no complaints there, but the hotel hasn't been well sound proofed. If you get given a room with a door to the adjacent room, ask to move straight away! Service was a little mixed - the front desk staff were always helpful, if occasionally unable to understand what I was asking, but the housekeeping was hit and miss - one day we didn't get the room cleaned until well after 6pm and we didn't have the toiletries replaced once in 9 days. The hotel provides free WiFi, which is a welcome bonus, but it didn't work at all on the higher floors. Our stay here was very memorable. Rooms were clean and services were ok. Just that in one of the ocasssions our room was not cleaned by a unruly staff. Upon receiving our complaint, the supervisor forced him to come back to do it. Aside from that location, services and environment was cool. I will certainly come back with my family. :)

For not being quite on the water, this hotel is in the newer area of Dubai. This hotel is not quite what the pictures and description make it out to be. It is online with a nice Holiday Inn. The "Marina View" has been obliterated by tall buildings, many in some state of construction. There is no "gift shop" that has drinks/snacks or any sundries you […] may have forgotten. The gift shop is jewelry & postcards. There is no shuttle service except to the mall, and that runs only a couple times a day. This is a Taxi city - walking is difficult due to all the construction areas. However, the staff was terrific and caring, and the basic needs were readily taken care of. The pool area is okay, but not great, with no food/drink services at the pool as described. This hotel description needs to be updated to more realistically portray the hotel. You get a nice size room with kitchen and sitting area (if you chose studio option) which is more than enough and also free internet access... I also stayed at Tamani […] Hotel which is supposed to be 5 star hotel but the rooms were really half the size of Marina View Hotel's studios and plus you had to pay for internet which costs around $20 a day... So I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone looking for a affordable place that is close to the marina... Please note that this hotel does not have a bar so if you would like to have a drink you would need to go to the other hotels by the beach which is literraly 5 minutes taxi ride from here which costs only $3 USD... We arrived at 1:00am and given room 1301 on the top floor, next to one of the lifts. We went to bed and could hear the lift motor starting and stopping every few minutes, the lift motor room was directly above our room. Neither of us could sleep due to the noise, on the way to reception I discovered that the lift was randomly stopping at different floors, […] with no one in the lift. Reception staff showed me several rooms that were available, all next to lifts. We moved to room 701 which was ok. Rooms were nice, with sitting room, small kitchen, separate bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet, washer/drier. Flat screen TV in both lounge and bedroom. As the hotel is new we had no kitchen equipment, Several boxes arrived the next day with all the equipment. Pool area was very nice, staff helpful, plenty of loungers and sunshades. Temperature was 40-44 deg C, the pool temperature was just right to cool you down down every few minutes. Pool attendant is very good and keeps children under control. Hotel is 500m from Dubai Marina metro, and Dubai Mall with a Carluccios restaurant and a Waitrose, plus a few fast food outlets. The beach is 15-20 minute walk. take a tax or the shuttle bus from the metro station. Journey to Dubai is 45 minutes on the metro (Burjaman Centre) , and 1 hour to the airport, metro is busy at peak times. Don't use the shuttle bus to Battuta Mall. We were told it took 10 minutes, it took 50 minutes due to the route round other hotels. Подробнее

The hotel is in a great location with free parking and free internet which is one of the reasons i stayed there. The staff were all very nice and the general manager of the hotel was extremely nice.
