"просторный номер со всем необходимым"
Отзыв пользователя Hotels.com: 27 фев 2013В номере есть все необходимое, большой ТВ (без российских каналов, правда), кухня, холодильник, микроволновка, посуда. Просторно, душ удобный. В 3 минутах ходьбы - метро Люмпини, в 10-15 - БТС Сала Даенг и еще метро. До БТС от отеля можно доехать бесплатно на отельном тук-туке. Рядом с БТС - торговый центр Silom с фудкортом внизу, там же большой супермаркет. Рядом с самим отелем - 7/11. Из неудобств - мелкие муравьи в номере (меня не особо напрягали) и не совсем удобный план, как добраться до отеля от БТС самому. Надо выйти на БТС Сала Даенг, у выхода № 4 (тут же будет Silom), повернуть налево и дойти до ближайшей улочки справа (названия улочки нигде не увидела). По ней пересечь 2 улицы, свернуть на третью (налево), дойти до 7/11, который будет по правой стороне, там повернуть по улице направо почти до конца, там будет отель).

"Потрёпанный отель с доброжелательным персоналом"
Отзыв пользователя Hotels.com: 26 фев 2013Недостатки: расположен в трущобах. В номерах потрёпанная мебель, паласы, потёртые временем оконные стёкла. В душевой кабине очень плохо спускается вода, пользовался ванной. В ванной же длина душевого шланга не рассчитана на человека ростом больше 180 см, мылся на корточках. Всё это не скрашивает пребывания в отеле, но с этим можно мириться. В проблему вылилось то, что в номере повышенного класса (Executive Suite) не регулировался кондиционер – мой товарищ простудился в первую ночь. В часы заселения на рецепции выстраивается очередь гостей на 20 минут. Номера не готовы к сроку, просят подождать уборки 1 час. Преимущества: легко поймать такси рядом с отелем. Недалеко до исторического центра города. До Силома или Саяма 15-20 минут на такси даже в вечерних пробках. Трущобы вокруг очень живописны, их приятно обозревать с открытой площадки на 10 этаже. Отсюда же открывается панорама на весь город. Здесь же бассейн для детей, шезлонги, бар, всё это скрашено пальмами и кадковым садом. Доброжелательный персонал отеля. Есть возможность получить размен у швейцара, чтобы расплатиться с таксистом. Очень понравилась услуга тайского массажа в отеле.

Хорошая гостиница. Чисто, удобно расположена. Но несколько нерадивый персонал на ресепшене: пару раз на просьбу подогнать отельный "шаттл-тук-тук" просили ждать на входе, при этом водителю шаттла о просьбе не сообщали. "Great value for the quality"
The Solo was a new location for us in Bangkok and we really loved it. We were just a short walk from the Skytrain in a quiet location. There was lots going on; several night markets with wonderful food and lots of street shopping. The neighborhood is a real mix of people from all over and very lively. Our room was right next to the pool and bar which […] I thought might be noisy but the AC was louder so it made taking a swim a breeze. I had been traveling 4 weeks and the pillows on my bed were the best; soft and not like a rock. The room is modern and has an excellent design; lots of lights that you can control right from bed, a bathroom with a separate shower and toilet and a convenient desk space. Free wifi, water, tea and coffee. The shower was nice and big and unlike the apartment I stayed in at the beginning of my trip, the shower drained quickly and the floor materials were not slippery. Modern small hotel with very helpful staff that were so pleasant. Rooms were cool, private and comfortable with large shower and comfy big beds. Upstairs pool and terrace was small but mostly after breakfast there was only two of us up there. Lovely bar area where a cool breeze blows on an evening and romantically lit with a view of the neighbourhood. […] It was a pleasure to walk into this street after the busy main road shopping, the hotel is about 500 metres from sukhumvit road and its easy walking but the courtesy shuttle is usually available and we also managed to catch it back up. "Good choice for Bangkok"
Great hotel, fun location. The Sukhumvit area is fun and has a lot of night life, but the hotel is down a quiet street away from all the noise so you get the best of both worlds. It is near the highway but we had a room the overlooked it and it wasn't too loud. Clean rooms, friendly staff, having a pool on a hot Bangkok day was great. This by far is my favorite hotel in the nana area. The hotel is very comfortable, staff is always very friendly and the rooms are very nice, clean and modern. I always staff at this hotel as it has a great location and the price is right! It has free internet, hot water with pressure and an overal nice room! The location is walkign diatance from Nana […] and they provide a tuk tuk service to drive you to Sukumvit Rd. This by far is my favorite hotel and will go back on my next trip. Hotel is in a great location. Short walk to train. Starbucks, supermarket and 7-11 on conrner. Room is shown on website (very nice). We did not do breakfast at hotel since there are so many options near by. When leaving we asked the hotel to arrange a taxi. Agreed on price 400BT, but in the middle of journey driver changed price to 470BT. I would suggest […] walk outside a flag a driver and get a better price 300 -350BT. "Great hotel especially for the price"
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it is a great hotel. You get a lot for what you pay for here. My room was extremely clean and MOST of the staff were great. A little far from the main road, but there's a shuttle that will drive you out there, but it's not a bad walk. I have 2 gripes with them however. The room I stayed in had a broken window […] and would not stay closed, without a little rigging on my part, so hot air would easily get in which isn't a big problem since the A/C worked perfectly fine, but I was afraid of someone breaking into my room from the outside. Granted I was on the third floor and no one could have known the window could easily be pried open, it was still a safety concern of mine. Now my biggest gripe would be a certain staff member, by the name of Nu, who would constantly try to get me to go to his sister's clothing shop to get a suit made. I didn't mind him asking me at first, but he did this every time I saw him. He was the person who brought my luggage to my room and was also the shuttle driver to the main road, so it wasn't easy to avoid him. Let me not take away from the rest of the staff though who were very helpful especially at the front desk, and housekeeping did a great job with my room every night; however, this one employee left me with an extremely bad impression. The only true negative is that the hotel is quite a hike from the main drag, Sukhumvit Road. Maybe a 10-12 minute walk. Too far when the sun is high, its […] 96-degrees and you are in business attire. Although not unique to the Solo, getting a taxi from the hotel is an issue. If there is a taxi in front the driver will only take you off-meter, which means a much higher rate. For instance, if you want to go to the airport they will ask for a flat 500 Bhat rate when the metered rate would only be 220-250. Excellent Hotel! Great freindly staff! really nice! Room was good, cold AC, hot water and eveything you need. Hotel has a good location close to the action just a 5 min walk up the street. "Websites can be deceiving"
I found this place to not at all be what we expected from the photos on-line. Although the place was clean and the location close to the skytrain the pool was very murky and the rooftop patio did not look anything like the pictures. När jag nu kom tillbaka 3 veckor senare och avslutade med 2 nätter var det som att hela personalstyrkan var utbytt, bara leenden överallt, uppgraderade oss till ett bättre rum då vårat bokade rum luktade rök, och bara otroligt hjälpsamma. Väldigt fräscht hotell. Fina rum, stor härlig dusch med regnfunktion. Tyvärr är receptionspersonalen inte alls trevlig. Inte en enda gång hälsade dom på oss när vi kom in! När jag sen bad om att få en taxi så tittade hon inte ens upp utan sa åt mig att vänta på bagagekillen som inte var där. Trots att hon själv inte hade någon annan gäst att ta hand […] om. "Excellent hotel for a bargin!"
Very nice and clean hotell in all areas. The check in is at 2pm and when we arrived 5am we got our room with no extra charge wich we very much liked! The hotel staff is friendly and they have a golf cart taking you to nearest skytrain, Nana or in the close neigborhod free of charge. The hotel is located in a quiet street in the end of soi 2 but if you […] want to party there is soi 4, just 5 min walk or by golf cart, wich have a lot of resturants or bars. 何よりもホスピタリー精神が素晴らしいです。バスタブはなくシャワーブースのみですが、部屋は清潔で快適な滞在でした。ロビー周りでの朝食ですが、スタイリッシュでとても気持ちの良い朝食となりました。スクンビットロードからは少し奥ですが、送迎サービスがありフレンドリーなスタッフによる送迎はとても快適でした。総合的にとても快適な滞在が出来ましたので正にサバイサバイです。Отзыв реального пользователя Expedia

"Fint hotell på lugn gata"

"Hotel Solo Sukhumvit 2 - 10 mins walk arrive BTS"
Just 10 min. walk arrive BTS Phloen Chit. Hotel location is convenience, 8 min walk arrive Phloen Chit Centre, there is Villa Market, fast food shop and resturants. Room is clean, fresh, and comfortable. I have complaint the electric kettle is dirty & bad smell . I found oil floating on the top of water. I think they should have replaced the other […] for me. They just washed but still oily so I strongly requested them to place the other. Finally, the kettle still the same without oily but bad smell still existing. I went Bangkok over 10 times, this is my 1st time to have this experience, hotel consisting to provide the problem kettle to guest!! Anyway, staff are polite, nice & helpful.
