Very pleasant hotel to stay in. Well maintained and Manager/Owner and the other staff we met very friendly and helpful. Gave useful and concise travel advice and booked one excursion for us. Close to the main town centre of Rekjavik. Would recommend to other travellers. hotel was clean and modern with outstanding service it was quiet and far enough away from the pub crawl that is so noisy on Fridays and Saturdays until 6am

We had the most wonderful time at the Phoenix Hotel Reykjavik! The hotel is really lovely. The room sizes are spacious and beautifully decorated. Although the location of the hotel is centrally located so travelers can easily walk to many of the popular areas of the city, it is situated in a quiet neighborhood so there is little to no noise during the […] night time. We really enjoyed the owners of the hotel as they were very gracious, friendly,and extremely helpful. schrecklich, wir sind nach einer Nacht ungeplant wieder ausgezogen, da wir sehr unhöflich behandelt wurden. Es lag nicht am Hotel an sich, sondern am Besitzer, der beim Frühstück neben unserem Tisch stand und darauf wartete, dass wir wieder gehen. Meine selbst mitgebrachte Margarine fand er widerlich. Als ich mir ein Brot mit Käse einpackte, da ich […] sehr wenig frühstückte, beschimpfte er mich. Schon bei der Ankunft machte er sich über unser Gepäck lustig, ob man uns zu Hause rausgeschmissen hätte. Frage nach Restaurantempfehlungen waren ihm lästig und die Gäste erhalten keinen Schlüssel für die Eingangstür und der Zimmerschlüssel muss abgegeben werden. Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und der Herr, der am Nachmittag an der Rezeption sitzt, ist sehr freundlich. Leider hat man beim Besitzer, der wohl vormittags arbeitet, das Gefühl, dass die Gäste eher ein Ärgernis sind. Es ist ja absolut in Ordnung, wenn er etwas nicht wünscht, wie ein Sandwich mitnehmen, aber es kommt für uns darauf an, wie man das sagt. Wir bezahlten die Rechnung für alle gebuchten Nächte und freuten uns, wie wir im spontan aufgesuchten Center Hotel, mit den Worten empfangen wurden: Lassen Sie uns wissen, wenn wir etwas für sie tun können, wir möchten, dass sie sich wohl fühlen. Das Phönix Hotel scheint das umgebaute Privathaus des Chefs zu sein und entsprechend fühlt man sich als Störfaktor. Подробнее

Palvelu oli ystävällistä. Palvelu pelasi alusta loppuun ja saimme aina tarvittaessa neuvoja mihin kannattaa mennä. Huone oli joka päivä, reilun viikon vierailumme aikana, siivottu ja illalla oli vuoteet avattu. Hotellin yleiset tilat olivat myös puhtaat ja viihtyisät. Suosittelemme tätä hotellia Reykjavikin matkustaville.

We truly enjoyed our stay att Hotel Phoenix, which included service minded staff, absolutely clean rooms, personally decorated rooms and a nice breakfast. And a lot more... It made us make the most of Reykjavik and we totally felt like home!
