Loved our stay at the Hotel Villa Fontaine Jimbocho. Staff were very courteous, the location was great, just two minutes walk to the subway and about... 10 minutes to the JR line. The only warning we would have is that the rooms are VERY small. Nowhere to put your clothes or suitcases. The bed is against the wall, but comfortable once you are in it. Lovely bathroom with all sorts of toiletries and amenities. Dozens of little restaurants within 10 minutes walk, a lot have only Japanese language menus, but seem to be very helpful to foreigners. The hotel breakfast comes in a box, but was sufficient to start off the day.
