Великолепное расположение для прекрасного отеля. Это всего лишь два блока на площади Таймс-сквер. Комнаты большие (для отеля на Манхэттене), очень удобные, со всеми современными удобствами, которые только можно пожелать. Этот отель был практически лучшее, что можно найти в районе театра. Это был прекрасный отель, буквально в минутах ходьбы от сердца рпазвлечений. Персонал отеля был очень приветливым и полезным в качестве путеводителей. Очень понравились дополнительные мелочи, вроде шоколада на постели и бесплатного чая со льдом в фойе. Номера для Нью-Йорка просто огромные. Отличное место для работы и отдыха. Очень удобно, близко к метро и тихо.

Какой прекрасной находкой оказался этот отель. Новый развивающийся бренд. Обслуживание, отделка, чистота, расположение — все прекрасно. Ни в коем случае нельзя упускать его из виду.

Благодаря расположенной близко крупной станции метро (станция 42-ая улица выходит на 40-ую и 8-ую, что буквально в двух минутах ходьбы от входа) и расположению в центре города, этот отель стал настоящей находкой. Комнаты очень чистые и удобные, а кровать оказалась самой лучшей из гостиничных кроватей, на которых я когда-либо спала. Ванная и душевая […] были безукоризненно чистыми. Это место буквально безупречно. Персонал был очень приветливым и чрезмерно услужливым во всех отношениях. Чудесным подарком были ежедневные бесплатный кофе по утрам и горячий сидр по вечерам в фойе. В отеле также был бар/кафе, но в нем не было необходимости, т.к. по соседству много магазинов и закусочных. Таймс-скуэр была в пяти минутах ходьбы, а еще ближе была 9 авеню со своей более "местной" атмосферой. Не беспокойтесь, если вы первый раз идете с поезда в отель. Он прямо напротив автобусной остановки Портового Управления и вниз по улице от нескольких небольших порно магазинов. Останавливался здесь с 25 по 27 марта 2011. Чистые комнаты, отличный отель и персонал, удобное расположение, в нескольких минутах от Таймс-скуэр и Бродвея. Очень рекомендую и сам обязательо остановлюсь здесь снова.

Этот отель полностью застал меня врасплох. Я останавливался во многих отелях и платил в два раза больше, чем здесь, но все равно получил здесь более качественное обслуживание, номер и общее впечатление. Отель новый и все было безукоризненно. В целом, приятный отель с дружелюбным и профессиональным персоналом. Единственным минусом было расположение прямо за Портовым Управлением. Я приехала ночью и было немного неприятно идти по темной улице мимо кучи интим магазинов.

Совершенно новый элегантный маленький отель на расстоянии плевка до Таймс-скуэр. Чистые до скрипа ванная комната, гостиная, фойе, коридоры, лифт, бар и ресторан. Услужливый персонал. Удобный и немаленький по нью-йоркским стандартам номер. Две трети квартала до линии Восьмой авеню или автобусной остановки Портового Управления. Сам по себе не очень эффектный […] квартал, зато близко от множества отличных заведений на Девятой авеню за пределами туристического безумия, или наоборот в центре туристического безумия, бродвейских шоу, ресторанных рядов и т.д.. В отеле было очень чисто, персонал был отзывчивым и готовым помочь. Отделан отель современно и ярко. При отъезде они удивили нас не только шоколадом, но и пирожными. Я точно сюда вернусь. Легко добираться до Таймс-скуэр и до метро, хорошее расположение для всего.

Я из Нью-Йорка, и поэтому этот район знаю хорошо, и я сразу понял, что это удобный, но не самый лучший район. Я был разочарован, кода приехал, потому что думал, что буду жить в номере, который предварительно обсуждался с отелем. В комнате, куда меня поселили, не было телефона, и мне пришлось ждать день, пока мне его поставят. В обычной ситуации это […] не было бы проблемой, т.к. у меня есть мобильник, но на этажах нет морозилок, и нужно звонить, чтобы ее поставили в номер. Впрочем, в отеле было очень чисто, а сотрудниками было просто приятно иметь дело. Расположение относительно Таймс-скуэр, театров и метро было идеальным. Погода была прохладной, так что прогулки были приятными. На углу есть аптека, а неподалеку куча отличных ресторанов. Также нужно пройти всего пару кварталов, чтобы попасть в два великолепных кинотеатра. Единственное, чего мне не доставало, так это возможности заказать обычные фильмы в номер. У них не было DVD или bluray проигрывателя, так что я обломился. Кстати, у них был небольшой приятный сюрприз: шоколадные пирожные в честь приезда и шоколадки на кроватях каждый раз, когда их заправляли. Очень рекомендую это место всем, кто собирается в Нью-Йорк посетить пару шоу на Бродвее и быть в центре туристической зоны. Со мной был друг, который хотел посмотреть шоу и побыть в центре, иначе я бы выбрал более тихий и спокойный район Нью-Йорка, вроде Грамерси-парка или Верхнего Вестсайда. Подробнее

I think the website overplays the luxury status of this property. It is nice, clean and comfortable. But the amenities are minimal, the lobby is so small it is uncomfortable. It feels like they shoehorned a hotel into a bowling lane. Room was very quiet, bed was very comfortable. Room size was on par with, or slightly larger, than many NYC hotels. The shower was really great too. I come to the city for business, and this time, was going between Chelsea, Columbus Circle, Central Park East and Midtown, so hotel was very close to everything. Nice modern hotel, although they checked us into someone else's room. Am Coffee service was empty every day in lobby and the maid found it entertaining to throw your stuff away. But other wise, clean, modern & nice desk people.

Hotel Staff was great! Rooms are just nice as shown in Pictures. Beds are unbelievably comfortable and pretty good views from your room as well.

I was a bit dubious about the location (across from the Port Authority, just down from the parole office and a row of porn stores btw 8th and 9th), but the area is really picking up, and seemed totally fine now. We stayed at Distrikt in March for 4 nights and had a great time. The room was spacious (considering the size of most boutique hotels) clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We were on the 31st floor and had a glimpse of the Empire state building and river. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We found the location excellent, close to Times […] Squares, other major tourist attractions, subway stops, and the Port Authority (which made it easy to transfer to the airports). I LOVED this hotel!! I rode the bus to NYC and it was right across the street from the bus terminal and subway station, within walking distance of Times Square, great location! Inside was so pretty! Very nice hotel. Clean, very friendly staff, free new york times every day, coffee machine in your room, good location close to Times Square, the block where the hotel is located ( between 8th Av. and 9th Av.) is ugly but it doesn't bother me, it's safe. It's also close to the bus stop to the airport.

We found the hotel through a Hotels.com listing. We chose it based on reasonable price and proximity to the Port Authority Terminal because we traveled by bus. The Distrikt turned out to be an excellent choice. It is less than 1 block's walk from the Terminal. The immediate area has several restaurants and convenient taxi access. It is about 4 blocks' […] walk to Times Square and the tour bus routes. All hotel staff were excellent: friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and competent. The room was small but not at all confining. The bed was very comfortable, even for large people like us. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Furnishings looked new. The tile bathroom and shower were beautiful. The flat screen TV with lots of cable channels was an unexpected treat. I am from NY city and stayed there last week and really loved it. The location is a little annoying, as it is near port authority but overall it is a great place. Clean and really well designed. I would definitely recommend this place, especially over the gross hotels higher up in the theater district.

Great hotel, great location. Walking distance to the majority of the tourist hot spots, and very near a number of subway stations. The hotel is lovely and front desk staff very friendly and helpful. The nightly "tomorrows weather" card was a really sweet touch. My only slight issue was the noice of the wind howling through the air-con unit, and the "turn down" service; during the day the beds are made up ready to climb straight into, then in the evening the duvet is folded right down so that you have to pull it up again before you go to sleep! The street its on is not the best, but its not dangerous or scary if ur walking as 2 or more. The hotel is literally next to 2 other hotels and their cafes. This is a great hotel in a fantastic location in the heart of New York but without the noise and discomfort that comes with being right in the middle of the tourist areas. I actually wasn't feeling well so I declined the party but took some lemonade to my room. I'd mentioned not feeling too well to one of the staff members, so ten minutes after I got back to my room, a knock at my door revealed a bellhop with a huge carafe of water, some chamomile tea, and a lovely note from a girl at reception. Staff was extremely friendly. There was warm apple cider at the reception which was a pleasant surprise. The room was in excellent condition. New, very stylish, beds were very soft and the bathroom impeccably clean with a neat bathrobe. My stay really cheered me up before an important interview. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice and elegant hotel conveniently located next to Times Squares. We loved the accessibility to the subway as that was the main form of transport for our New York vacation.
