Nice large room. We were behind the elevator but never heard it. Did hear military jets on maneauver on morning but so did our friends even closer to the runway. Regular airport noise is minimal. Full sized fridge and large microwave were nice. Only thing I wish there was is a pool but if I'm not traveling with kids it's no problem.

Nice room and very friendly staff. I would stay here again and recommend it others. They offer a free shuttle to the train that takes you downtown and to and from the airport.

Room smelled fairly significantly of bug spray. At least I think it was bug spray. Woman at the counter was very pleasant and professional.

This hotel was very convenient to the airport and the return spot for our rental car. The hotel, and our room were very nice. It would have been nice to have a hot tub or pool to relax in after a day of traveling. The 24-hour "Cupboard" would have been okay if there had been some options that weren't fast-food items. This is the first time I have stayed at a Candlewood Suites property but I rate this at the top when considering a value hotel. It is airport adjacent, clean with free computer and printing use, a quaint if limited snack room (for purchase), and clean kitchenette appointed rooms. The staff, from the night clerk to the morning clerk, to the shuttle driver, […] were all friendly and very helpful. I was about two minutes late for a 6:30 AM shuttle and without my even making a frown the desk clerk called and had the shuttle come back for me! Don't expect a great deal of movie channels or any "on demand" services, and renting dvd's from a hotel is not my thing--but who cares. It's a value hotel; and a great one at that. Подробнее

Decent hotel with the longer stay amenities. It worked well for my short stay. Nice having a full size refridgerator. The one downside it the lack of restaurants in the immediate area.

Our hotel room was the most thoughtfully laid out room I have ever stayed in. LIttle touches like a bag of popcorn in the microwave, a water pitcher in the fridge, a laundry basket in the closet, and the ability to check out DVDs from the front desk, took the room from "very nice" to "fantastic." Mine and my boyfriends experience was awesome. This hotel was so much more then we had expected. The pictures on the website looked nice, but it was a lot more than nice when we arrived to our room. let me start by saying that this is the cleanest hotel I've ever seen in my life. there was not a single fingerprint in the entire place. unless our favorite serial killer, Dexter, had just stayed there, the cleaning ladies did a fabulous job. every single appliance appeared as though it had been newly installed and then wiped clean as to not even leave […] a streak. i third tried to find something on the dishes or the floors, mold or hair and I could find nothing. now I will say that the room did not smell fresh and clean- it could have used an airing out and some air freshener. also, the sheets did not smell like tide and downy, but I've never been to a hotel that has. but they did have a free washer and dryer. the decor was very basic. but the cabinets were brand new without a scratch. the stovetop had two electric burners, and there was no oven. now comes the part where I give you the negatives: the walls are not well insulated. we could hear our neighbors television over our own. I had a bit of a time sleeping because we could hear our neighbor snore through the wall into our pillows! when the heating unit kicked in, it offered some white noise that allowed me to tune it out. there is also a train near by that tooted its horn around 3am. there is no valet parking or even a round a bout to check in. parking space is very limited. the bed did not poke us in the back with a spring, but it was no Chattam & Wells. there was a card on our bed that said they offered foam or feather pillows, but we only had foam pillows that were not super comfortable-bring your own pillows. one last thing. we asked for a late check out and were given a 2pm. at about 12pm the nice cleaning lady came to clean our room thinking we were gone. about 5 minutes later our phone rang. when I answered, I heard background noise but no one responded. about 5 minutes after that, another cleaning lady knocked on our door. this time it seem like a cover because beside her was a front desk clerk telling Подробнее

The staff was very helpful. He let me do early checking in which gave me a big favor because i had a very early flight and have nowhere else to go in Portland. The room was clean and cozy. I really enjoy my stay there and i will definitely recommend to others.

I chose this hotel because of its price and location near my chosen long term car parking lot for travel through Portland Airport. I had a late check in due to my flight and the staff at Candlewood Portland were very accommodating! When I arrived the desk clerk was friendly and helpful in getting me checked in quickly and telling me about the features. […] My room was beautiful! I loved feeling like I was home after a long flight, even while still being away. The food pantry was great and let me cook food, even though I arrived at midnight. The Candlewood Suites at Portland airport was immaculately clean and well maintained! They have a new high efficiency washer and dryer where you can wash your clothes for FREE along with a well stocked pantry which you can charge to your room and a free shuttle within one mile of the hotel which includes the airport. The staff was all very friendly […] and helpful and gave you a free newspaper every morning. The hotel is about 40 minutes from downtown Portland at the Cascades stop but it is nice to be away from the bums and chaos of downtown Portland. Very quiet with the occasional plane you can barley hear. I will defintely stay here again as it was about half the price of all the other hotels and twice the quality. Head and shoulders above the rest of the airport hotels. Everything is clean and new, staff are excellent and welcoming, free laundry. Standard rooms are not that special, but the suites are way cool and a person could envision themselves living there very comfortably!

I regret that I only needed a hotel for one night, because this would have been a wonderful hotel for longer stays. The kitchen in the room was fully stocked with dishes and soaps and towels etc.. and everything was so clean! I have never been in a hotel that felt so clean before. Although there is no room service they do have a 24 hour open "pantry" […] where you can buy meals and snacks and get coffee anytime. When we travel through PDX we usually go up the night before because we live a few hours away. The hotel we usually stay at wanted three times the price we usually pay so I found this one. It is still in the area and doesn't have a morning breakfast but the only thing I get in the morning is coffee anyhow. There is a restaurant about a block away. It […] is tucked away off the main road so the traffic noise is lower. It was very clean and staff was attentive to your needs. No problems with parking. The Hotel was easy to find. Good location for shopping. Easy driving access to Portland neighborhoods and downtown. Quiet area. Large living area and bathroom. Adequate kitchen area.

This hotel offered us everything we needed to be comfortable for our 8 day vacation. The free laundry room, access to a gym, a full sized refridgerator and a spacious bathroom were what made our stay there different from other hotels we've stayed at in the past. We didnt know at the time of booking that it was a extended stay hotel, which meant that […] there was no daily maid service and that our towels or linens were not going to be replaced daily or room cleaned. It worked out fine because we could replace out towels daily ourselves at the front desk and the maid came in after a few days on a scheduled day of cleaning. Every where we needed to get to was only minutes away. Rentel car return was literally 1 minute away. Airport 10 minutes away. The city and daughters college was 15 minutes away. All I can say is that it was perfect for us and our needs. Cant wait to stay there again next time we are visiting Portland. Подробнее

Without a doubt this was the best experience in a hotel we have ever had. We stayed at the Candlewood suites for a week and this Hotel was without a doubt very clean, and the customer service was excellent. I wish more hotels would take more pride with making their customers feel at home.

This hotel was the best for us! We had out two teen aged boys and having the kitchen made feeding them so much easier. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was terrific, the room was very nice, clean, and safe. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It is new and contemporary. The workout room was comfortable and well appointed. Having an on […] site free laundry room was amazing. A full sized refrigerator, pots, pans, cups, dishes, a dishwasher and even a teapot and toaster! The 'pantry' came in very handy for those little things we forgot and the on site computer room was a welcome blessing. The staff was so helpful, even when we got lost while out and about we called the hotel and the staff got us back with grace. Lots of local grocery and 'department' stores close by. Absolutely loved it! If I could ask for anything more it would be to have a broom and dustpan in for the 'kitchen' floor. This is a terrific place for families or anyone who enjoys having a kitchen. Being in Portland with so many farmer's markets around we were able to enjoy the bounty of the area. I would go back to Candlewood Suites today, it was hard to leave. Wir hatten von Deutschland aus gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht! Es gab ein Zimmer mit einer integrierten Küche, das Geschirr war sauber und Herd, MIcrowelle und Kühlschrank funktionierte einwandfrei! Sollten wir noch einmal nach Oregon fliegen, wird das sicher wieder unser Hotel! Wie in USA üblich, lässt die sich die Sauberkeit mit deutschem aber […] Standard nicht vergleichen, aber in diesem Hotel kam es schon sehr nah ran ;o) ! ! Es gibt kein Frühstück und der "Shop" ist nicht wirklich erwähnenswert. Es gibt einen Raum mit zwei PC´s die von den Gästen genutzt werden können. Freies WLAN ist auch zu haben. Die Menschen an der Rezeption waren durchweg total supernett!! In fuläufiger Umgebung ist ein tolles Diner mit dem Namen Sharies, welches rund um die Uhr geöffnet hat. das haben wir leider erst auf der Rückfahrt entdeckt, empfehlenswert sind die Blueberry-Pancakes ;o)) Also, wer keinen Luxus erwartet, wird hier nicht enttäuscht. Werkelijk uitstekend hotel. Helaas geen ontbijtfaciliteit, het is een suites hotel dus met keuken in de kamer. Wel een soort winkeltje waar je spulletjes kunt kopen. Dit is een uitstekende hotel voor als je op doorreis bent, of als je een goedkoop hotel wilt en het geen probleem vindt om met de auto de stad in te gaan.
