Fantasy Island Resort Beach and Marina All Inclusive - Роатан

Hotel is out of date, tired, and run down. Basics of water to shower is salt water, drinking water is out of a 5 gallon jug. It's all you can eat, until they run out. Don't be late...quality of food is common. Way over priced !!! Obviously, Hotels.com has made no effort to review the place.

Wow.. where to start... The ratings for this hotel have been pretty honest. This hotel has AMAZING potential. It seems as though someone opened this hotel as a very nice resort but didn't do anything to keep it maintained since (like 10+ years ago). The most disappointing thing about this hotel was it's potential. We wanted to like it Pros: 1. Beatiful […] beach. All but 4 rooms face the beach. Somehow we got one of the 4 rooms that didn't face the beach! LOL 2. Friendly Staff (not highly trained, but friendly). 3. Great diving resort and it's included in the all inclusive rate! 4. Awesome wildlife! There was wild friendly white faced monkeys! They come down from the trees and hang out with you! There was also several iguana's, ducks, some rabbit looking things, peacocks, blue crabs, hermit crabs, and so on! Defantly a highlight, almost made it worth staying there! 5. Brand new AC's in the room!! Love my room cold and it actually got too cold! Loved that! Almost made up for the HORRIBLY uncomfortable beds. 6. Private. Very secluded on private beach. Cons: 1. NOT CLEAN! Room was generally not clean. Restrooms were dirty and horribly maintained. The pool was dirty, cups, drinks, etc are just left out. No one cleans up the beach area, pool area, bar area. Just a sloppy mess. Everything stinks at this place. Near the lobby there is a HORRIBLE sewage smell and the room smelled strange as well. We had to spray the room with colonge to be able to adjust to the room. 2. In the middle of no where (might be a plus for some). It's a LONG drive to the popular beaches where all the restaurants and bars are (West End and West Bay). 3. Not maintained. It USED to be nice. What's left is the skelaton of a nice resort. No HOT water in shower!!!!!! 4. Food is AWEFUL! I'm not that picky when it comes to food, but the food was not good. The worst part is it's all inclusive and in the middle of no where. the property location is nice, the beach is beautiful is private, the food is OK.

THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN IT IS NASTY, DIRTY, SMELLS STINK AND EVERY OTHER THING IS TERRIBLE, this hotel is never cleaned, bathroom and shower dirty, water pressure bad no hot water, air conditioners dont work properly, when you wake on a morning and walk through all of yesterdays garbage is still all around, I was disgusted by this hotel.

This was a great hotel. It is right on the beach and the hotel staff is extreamly friendly and helpful. It is all inclusive, so meals and specific drinks are complimentary. It is not a posh, luxury resort, but the rooms are nice - clean - and right on the ocean!

The hotel has gone down hill. This hotel is in need of remodeling in the rooms. The beds are terrible. The diving was great. This could be the best hotel on Roatan. The food was just ok but not that great. They just got new boats which is great. The dive masters are also great. For diving this is probably the best place to stay. El hotel necesita muchas mejoras, no existe nadie que se preocupe por las necesidades de los huespedes, la mayoria del personal adopta una aptitud indiferente, en especial en recepcion. La playa es una de las mas preciosas que he visto.

Muy lindo el estilo del hotel, pero se necesita que hagan muchos arreglos para que no vaya a decaer. El hotel esta localizado en una preciosa isla y nos encanto su amplia comodidad por ex: el lobby, cafeteria, salon de billard.
