Так я и остановился на отеле St Simeon. эта гостиница была наименее дорогой, а в списке услуг значился бесплатный Wi-Fi. Когда я пришел заселяться, они общались со мной так, как будто я просто пришел и пытаюсь снять комнату в полностью занятой гостинице. После того, как я оставил залог в 3 фунта за ключ на цепочке с эмблемой VW, меня на небольшом лифте проводили до номера. Мне достался номер 25. Мы открыли 2 тяжелые двери и оказались в тусклом, затхлом помещении. Там было 2 односпальные кровати, старый телевизор и тумбочка. Ванная была грязной. На стенке сливного отверстия душа осталась пена; сам душ не сохранял вертикальное положение, его приходилось все время держать. Ни мыла, ни салфеток не было, только одно полотенце. Кровати были в порядке, но из-за тонких простыней ночью в постели было холодно.Окно было взломано, и закрыть его не получилось; оно было занавешено двумя занавесками странной формы, закрывавшими четверть окна и пропускающими свет внутрь. Бесплатный Wi-Fi в моем номере не работал - а выбрал я эту гостиницу в том числе и из-за него. Я спустился с лэптопом вниз и спросил, нет ли у них гостинной, где можно присесть. Мне предложили маленькую темную кухню и столовую внизу. И даже там интернет работал медленно. Сотрудники вели себя дружелюбно, но постоянно ходили вокруг и пытались подсунуть то заплесневелые фрукты то кофе без кофеина. This is one of the more inexpensive hotel rooms in London, but it shows in the size of the room. A very tiny room and bed that would be very uncomfortable for anyone 6' or taller. Bathroom similarly very small. Light in hallway a distraction when going to sleep as the transom above the entry door was glass and did not have a shade over it.

Stayed the night at this hotel which was comfortable and adequate for our needs. Breakfast was an experience with seemingly endless plates of fruit and cold meats being offered by very enthusiastic and friendly staff. The stay at St. Simeon was very pleasing. We enjoyed our stay because they made us feel at home, especially when it was breakfast time. Breakfast was so good! The room was clean, but very small, which is normal for London. The hotel is very dated. The mattress was a bit worn and slightly uncomfortable. There was supposted to be internet avaiable in the lobby, but it was not working the night I was staying. Overall it is OK for a budget hotel in London.

I lived in London for years knowing accomodation standard well,it didn't come as suprise the size of the room or the bed. at the same time we were going there just for a weekend,knowing we'd spend very little time in the room so it being small didn't bother us. bathroom was clean, shower super (great pressure, for London it's a wov!!! we were on ground […] floor though) staff is very helpful (although not much of smiley people), nice and willing to give you help with your stay (direction, suggestion etc); breakfast is huge and could sure fill you up for the whole morning. TV works fine with plenty of channels (no fancy stuff but can find good movies) dining room has TV and we used it for chat and drinks once back from our evening out. location is pretty good, close to the tube and a huge Sainsburys (supermarket),many places to eat nearby (head towards the tube or towards Earl's court) including pubs for a drink. if you are a "big" person be careful, our double bed was more like a big single one, not much of a problem for us but i know that many of the USA ppl visiting and writing on here might find it uncomfortable. I would just ask to renew the bath towel stock, some of them have clearly been washed too many times and are like sandpaper on your body. same with the pillows and the floor carpet, they've seen better days. this are small details, overall we enjoyed the place and we will sure consider it for our next weekend in London to see our friends. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was always huge and delicious. This hotel had a great location. Very close to the tube station and not too far from the Natural History Museum (a must see for families and it's free!) When we checked in, the manager said that we had a very nice triple room. The first room we were given for my husband, my 13 year old and myself was so small you could barely move. It would be surprising if it had more than 3 meters of space for walking. It was so small one the headboard of one of the beds was in the closet, so the closet could not […] be used. This room was marginally better as there was a wardrobe in which we could store two suitcases. The room was in the basement, so after taking a shower, towels would never dry.
