Golden Strand Ocean Villa Resort - Санни-Айлс-Бич

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was very clean and had a friendly staff. The room was quiet and had a partial ocean view which we loved. We would definitely stay here again!

North miami isn't where you would want to go although there was a beach outside. Miami proper or south miami woudl be better although over there you ened to get a rental car. While there was a beach, the oncoming Hurricane Sandy made it difficult and there was residual flooding in the main hotel areas that the hotel weren't responsible for. Great hotel for a family, especially with little ones; great restaurants, pharmacy and supermarkets really close by. Great location, right there in the sand. Free umbrellas and chair at the beach and pool area. Great staff. The Italian buffet is not good; I would not recommend it.

Location is absolutely the best. Right on the beach and and close to everything: shopping and restaurants. BUT, first two days it was raining hard and water was coming into the room through the window. We had water on the floor for two days. Great private beachfront hotel at reasonable price! Stayed 1 week and efficiency kitchenette worked well. Would have liked a room with a balcony, but they were sold out. Villas looked amazing for larger groups. Will try to book earlier next year for a balcony room.

first of all, when we first check in we were made aware you have to pay $20 PER DAY for parking which is never available, we had to park across the street which was very cumbersome with 3 kids crossing collins ave, also the second day we were made aware this is not ahotel,is a timeshare, therefore there is no room cleaning everyday or change your towels, […] you have to CARRY YOUR DIRTY TOWELS TO THE LAUNDRY and ask for a change of towels, also most of the owners are seniors and they were very rude to kids, my kids are small and were only swimming and the owners complaint to mgmt there was too much noise, this is not a family friendly property. Large spacious apartment with two bedrooms, lounge and well equipped kitchen. Bathroom small but completely adequate. Only stayed one night and did not use any outside amentities but would recommend the room for a longer stay.

The Resort is more of a condominium that a hotel. We really enjoyed the stay here for our first time in Miami but wish we would've stayed a little closer to south beach. The rooms were pretty clean upon check in and they only take out the trash if you stay less than a week, housekeeping costs extra. Most of the people who stayed at the hotel and the […] area in general seemed to be at least over 30 if they weren't with their family. The staff was very friendly and almost all of them spoke English. Our $10 a night per person accommodation fee was paid for with the Expedia booking. The resort had wireless routers in EVERY room and the internet was always fast whenever we used it. There is just not much to do in the area but a $2 bus ride to south beach is just about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic and frequency of stops. Unless you're gonna drop big money on the food at restaurant downstairs I suggest dining somewhere else. Although the wait staff is extremely friendly and the bar is very lively at night. Подробнее

We had a very, very positive stay here. We needed to find a place at the last minute and found this on this site. The price seemed right and we rented a suite with a bedroom and a separate kitchen. The walk to the beach was effortless and immediate. The beach itself was great. Though there was one employee who seemed very unhelpful, the other staff were courteous and went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. Be mindful that this is not a hotel so you will not receive housekeeping services or room service. We did not mind this at all. You can always receive clean linens and towels if you ask for them. This hotel is perfectly located for shopping and trips to the North of Miami. The rooms are old and therefore don't feel like ultimately clean and luxurious. It is a typical timeshare hotel. This is a totally no service hotel. The room is clean just once a week, if you want clean they charge extra per day. You have to put your garbage outside the room. There is nobody to help you with luggages, and they charge fees like a reort. Furthermore the hotel is full of snails, a disgust.

This hotel is far from the 4 Star Hotel. The parking situation is unacceptable. There are not enough spots on site for hotel quests. Hotel room was cleaned only once over 7 days.

Lovely room in a very nice setting. Althoug the Florida January weather did not allow us to go swimming, the pool and the beach looked wonderful.

This hotel is in walking distance to Publix, Milam, Starbucks ,Walgreens, CVS, Liquor store and everything else that you need. The beach is beautiful and is just a great place to stay. We will be back.

Hotelbeschreibung und Realitaet haben absolut nichts miteinander zu tun. Der Zustand ist miserabel und die Fotos zeigen das Condo-Hotel vor vermutlich 1o Jahren. Die Anlage koennte schön sein, wenn sie gepflegt wäre. Ringsherum 50-stöckige Hochhäuser. Das muss man mögen.

Im Vergleich zum Newport Beach Hotel, das ebenfalls mit 3 Sternen bewertet wird, kann man dieses Hotel vergessen. Es verdient keine 3 Sterne, da: - die Zimmer ziemlich klein sind, - es gibt überhaupt keinen Zimmerservice, d.h. die Betten werden nicht gemacht, die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher werden nicht gewechselt. Das passiert, wenn überhaupt, nur […] bei Wechsel der Gäste. Mein Zimmer roch, obwohl ich ganztags gelüftet habe, immer nach "Schlaf" (ich war nur 3 Nächte dort), da offensichtlich auch bei meiner Ankunft die Betten nicht frisch überzogen waren - es gibt im Bad 2 Stück Seife (Waschbecken, Badewanne - that´s it - nur am Mittwoch werden die Zimmer gewischt und die Papierkörbe geleert, aber kein Bett gemacht. - die Lage ist insofern gut, dass in nächster Umgebung ein paar gute Restaurants und Hotels sind (Trump) - das Parken des Autos kostet pro Tag 20 USD - finde ich unmöglich Fazit: dort war ich das erste und letzte Mal Gast Подробнее
