Гостиница оказалась очень приятной; возможно, если бы я остановился дольше, чем на одну ночь, мне б понравилось еще больше. До пляжа добираться близко и удобно, но до ближайшего торгового центра далеко и дорого: приходится брать такси.

Гостиница позиционируется как бутик-отель, поэтому слишком много внимания уделяется стилю - в ущерб основным удобствам. В особенности это касается бесплатного Wi-Fi - он такой медленный, что практически бесполезен. Я бы, возможно, порекомендовал эту гостиницу для частной увеселительной поездки, но для приехавших в командировку она не годится.

Близко от пляжа и магазинов. Очень понравилось, что здесь предоставляют пляжные полотенца, шезлонги и скидки в определенные часы. В этом бутик-отеле мы чувствовали себя как дома. Однако консьерж оказался не из лучших. Завтрак у бассейна, включенный в стоимость проживания, был великолепен.

На противоположной стороне улицы ведутся строительные работы, что не добавляет кварталу привлекательности. При этом стен и полы очень тонкие - при малейшем шуме в номере на пороге появляется менеджер.

Мы подтвердили пятизвездочный статус гостиницы. Посмотрев фотографии и описание на hotels.com, мы загорелись желанием там остановиться. Сложилось впечатление, что гостиница расположена прямо на пляже, в достаточно благополучном районе. К сожалению, это не подтвердилось. Гостиница оказалась на задворках города, а в районе велись строительные работы. […] Водитель такси долго не мог ее найти, так как многие дороги перекрыты из-за ремонтных работ. Когда мы, наконец-то, добрались, нашей первой реакцией было: "О, нет!". Вестибюль был крошечным, стойка регистрации представляла собой пробитое в стене окошко, а распределительные щиты были прикрыты занавеской на булавках. Однако - читайте дальше! Как можно догадаться из заголовка, наш отель оказался поистине неограненным алмазом. Наш номер был райским уголком, а наши друзья были заселены в номер люкс в пентхаузе, который мы тоже посмотрели: просто загляденье! Убранство номера, в стильной темной цветовой гамме, радовало глаз; пол из твердой древесины, открытая просторная ванная. Постель была великолепна, в кухне было много прекрасной посуды и даже кофеварка Keurig K-Cup. Понравился нам и бассейн с персональными кабинками и роскошными шезлонгами. Бассейн очень уютный, отличается небольшими размерами и расположен по центру здания, между двумя башнями; его четвертая стена богато украшена растениями и снабжена барьерами, ограждающими от соседних зданий. В гостинице была челночная служба - независимая служба "South Beach", в которой машины отправлялись по четным часам, каждые 2 часа. Мы опоздали к полуденной машине на несколько минут, а двухчасовая так и не появилась. В конце концов мы взяли такси за 40 долларов. Нашим друзьям удалось попасть на машину в 3:30, причем по поводу собев в расписании шофер заявил, что он "пропустил двухчасовой рейс". Когда мы объяснили ситуацию менеджеру гостиницы (которая была на месте), она без лишних вопросов вручила нам 40 долларов компенсации с искренними извинениями. Подробнее

Большие номера высокого класса для данной ценовой категории.. Завтрак был очень хорошим. В стоимость проживания входило пользование лежаком на пляже :) Бесплатная доставка до аэропорта. Очень быстрый интернет. Персонал предупредительный. До приличного минимаркета - 2-3 квартала пешком. Бассейн маленький, но мы им не пользовались. Такси в этом районе […] не ходят, и нам пришлось пройти 1 квартал под проливным дождем. строительне работы нас не беспокоили. Без сомнения рекомендую всем! Номер и гостиница в целом были великолепны, и у нас остались бы прекрасные впечатления, если б не 2 момента. Мы заказывали двухместный номер с одной кроватью, однако к моменту нашей регистрации такие номера у них кончились, и нас поселили в номер-студию класса люкс. После наших возражений нас перевели в номер с 1 кроватью у бассейна. Почему они не сделали […] это сразу, чтобы не доставлять нам неприятности? Hotel was comfy and quiet. They only had one guest service desk so check in was long. The phone in room did not work and the neughborhood was a little sketchy.

Hotel was quite expensive. The rooms were dark, i.e. not well lit. The breakfast beside the pool was delightful. Parking was expensive with a valet service and availability of the car anytime. The bed mattresses were quite soft and hard on the back. There was no internal restaurant. However, one could by showing the hotel key get access to happy hour […] drinks at nearby major hotels. Beware: construction starts at 7:30AM during the week if you're in a room facing the street, and you're not paying for any services besides a nice room. One front desk manager recommended a chain gelato cafe for brunch. We passed once we arrived at the location- Miami has much better eateries!! The hotel was beautiful. And they also have us complimentary beach chairs which usually cost $20 each.

I went to Miami with two girlfriends and we stayed in the King suite (not the studio suite) and it was a great decision. The hotel itself was a nice boutique style hotel and had a real small but very nice pool area for relaxing. The 1 bedroom was so small there was nowhere to put luggage. If you get a bigger room i expect it would be better. The cleaning lady and breakfast server were nice. This place is not a four-star hotel. Period. It is a medicre tourist hotel in a poor location. The rooms are very small and dark. The beds are uncomfortable, the linens are cheap, the towels are small and thin. There is very little service -- the place is seriously understaffed. Had a slightly unpleasant stay at the hotel. The front desk when checking in photo copied my ID and VISA card and due to my banks advise I took back the copy they made of my visa card. Location is within walking distance of the beach and major attractions. Clean and generally well maintained. Pleasant staff. Negatives were a deadbolt that didn't work and broken switches on two wall sconces which necessitated pulling out plugs to turn off lights.

this hotel is GORGEOUS, especially for the price. However the street is shady. It is close to lots of things, and within walking distance, but not the nicest location.

Rooms are wonderful. Pool area fabulous. Check in takes much too long. I had a personal emergency and had to day-early checkout...nailed for full extra night stay on reservation. That is not very customer friendly and they probably rented the room for that night. $X2 Nice people and nice hotel overall.

My weekend wasn't going so well until I checked into Riviera Hotel. Very classy and sophisticated it offered me the feeling of luxury and comfort without snoby staff. I'm extremely pleased with my stay and great perks that this hotel offers. This is the only place I will stay at in the future.

We had some trouble checking in...it took about 30 minutes. We had made our reservation on line and the hotel computer service is very (!!) slow. Once checked in we were given keys to someone else's room, but that was corrected quickly...but it resulted in another trip down to the desk, and another 10 minutes or so. I enjoyed my stay and the people were nice. Room 101 was very noisy when the air condition stop. sounded like water was running down the bathroom wall. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many 5-star hotels. But the Riviera was the best hotel I have ever stayed in yet. The hotel was incredible and better than I ever, ever expected. The sitting room, kitchen, bedroom, and the elaborate bathroom were incredible. I hesitate writing a good review because this hotel could easily charge $300 […] per night and it would be worth it. Nice rooms, but very bad service. They even allowed someone into our room. When we got into the room on the second day, there were an extra set of luggage sitting in the room.

Love the place. I didn't expect it to be quite as nice as it was. No turn-down service, unless requested, but the hotel staff were all very reachable. For renting a one BR suite on South Beach, I would look no further for the dollar!

Other than not having any free parking, this was the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in. You'll never find a bed more comfortable. Staff was very professional and courteous. You may have to ask for room service because they really respect your privacy. But for the accommodations, wow!

Beautiful interior, nice spacious rooms (700 sq ft). Rain shower, aesthetically pleasing, small pool but beautiful lush surrounds. Access to sister hotel Catalina 2 long blocks away for free happy hour from 7 to 8 was great for me and husband and two college aged sons and their two girlfriends. This large one-bedroom suite far surpassed my expectations. The location in South Beach is great. Continental breakfast by the pool from 8-10 am. Access to beach club at a sister hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel.

It's officially become my sanctuary. It will be the only hotel I will ever stay at in Miami.
