Grifo Hotel de Charme - Казамиччола-Терме

Recently we returned from the island Ischia where we stayed at the Grifo Hotel. We liked it a lot because it has many strong points: it is not big and therefore the staff is not numerous. But each and every (no matter a waiter or a manager) know how to provide a good service. For a example, on the second day the waiters know what you prefer to drink […] during the breakfast - water, tea or cappuccino. But we should give his due to the Grifo's owner - Alberto, because such a client oriented direction is specified by him - it is very important for him that the guests feel homey at Grifo. Though it is his work but he does it sincerely and with warmth. There was no a request which the staff could but did not satisfy. The hotel's atmosphere does not suppose loud night parties, vice versa it is a place for a quiet family rest. But it doesn't mean that there is no social life in the hotel - one evening Alberto invited a local musician who performed Italian and world's hits very beautifully. The hotel is situated on the hill and we were confused a little bit initially. But don't be afraid - almost all the time the guys from reception are ready to give you a lift to the seaside. Moreover, we appreciate the hotel's location because it's situated in the distance from the main noisy seaside road, where many other hotels are situated. So, if you like simple but perfect interior style, if you seek for silence and peace and finally if good service means much for you - the Hotel Grifo is a good choice. Подробнее

We stayed in one of the annexe rooms and wouldn't recommend them. They're in a separate building and have only French doors, no windows in the room - they let in very little light. Also, walls are paper-thin and when our neighbours came back to their room after 23.00 we could hear them talking and washing - definitely not something I would expect in […] a 4* hotel. The breakfast is good, with freshly baked cornetti. The hotel is quite out of the way and getting anywhere requires a bit of planning with getting to the bus stop, catching a bus etc. The hotel offers a shuttle service and they're very flexible, you don't necessarily have to wait until the 'official' scheduled times. Still, I'd rather stay somewhere more central. They can also pick you up and drop off at the ferry terminals. The driver (it's actually one of his many roles at the hotel) is very friendly. Loved our stay at the Hotel Grifo - everyone at the hotel was committed to making each and every guest's stay an exceptional experience. I can't say enough about this hotel - the design, the lovely grounds, the detail to comfort , the great food and the wonderful staff - perfetto!!.

Beautiful place. Excusive feel.Lovely terrace, pool etc. pretty new. Quiet. Lunch options limited. We loved it but found the location a bit tiresome after 6 days. 5 mins (busy) bus from Ischia Port, the 7 mins walk up a (steepish) dusty hill. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die erste Nacht wurde zwar unser Zimmer "downgraded", dafür hatten wir für die folgenden Nächte eines der schönsten Zimmer bekommen. Frühstückservice eher mässig. Extrem sauber !!

nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans cet hôtel qui a le charme d'une maison d'hôte associé au confort , à la propreté et au service d'un 4 étoiles Grâce à Claudio , notre séjour fut facilité ( il parle couramment le français avec juste un petit accent charmant ) mais tout le reste du personnel était sympathique aussi l'excursion en mer d'une journée […] ( tour de l'île ) est vraiment à faire , même si elle parait chère au premier abord on a pas regretté la piscine est magnifique et propre , parfois trop chaude ! les terrasses sont balayées tout le temps et intimes prendre une chambre vue sur mer c'est quand même le top pour pas tellement plus cher et rester au moins 3 nuits pour avoir le temps de savourer ce petit paradis nous reviendrons au printemps prochain rien que pour l'hôtel et claudio .... avec les enfants !
