"Excellent hotel"
This is an excellent hotel and view location. A cheap taxi ride from the airport or back into town but you cannot beat the view. "Playa Tortuga, 4 stars - really?"
The hotel was a bit worn down, and our room smelled really strong of mildew. The smell didn't disappear even with the AC on full blast. Pool area and everything else was ok, but this is really not a 4 star hotel in any aspect.

"Room Problem Moldy Smell"
The room and all rooms have a moldy smell, they need to run the air condition all the time and they do not. Over all the hotel is good value but I had to leave the sliding balcony doors open all the time to get ride of the smell The front desk people said that it was Panama and I should expect it.
"Worst hotel ever"
For the price they charge is the worst hotel I ever been! The rooms stench of humidity, and when your next to the kitchen they start making noise at 6 AM. They also have a bad trained staff.

The delux suites stay in a "common" balcony, one can actually see the neighbours' beds and not even robes are provided; it took 1,5H to deliver a cheese burger 8and then it came without cuttlery); booked smoking room, all non-smoking; impossible to organize excursions the night in advance (and terrible manners of the tour desk); far from center (and […] few shuttles provided); all the pool is devoid of ANY shade area unless you want to sit in a table); limited dining options and poor menu; mini-bar was empty; wi-fi goes up and down, one can hardly go through with a Skype phone call; all the internal phone numbers don't work except the poor girl in the front desk; the one hotel EVER not to offer a bottle of water upon arrival; there's no manager available to communicate; airport transfer (1,5km away only) is free on pickup but then charged immensely (given the short distance) on drop off! "Don't be fooled by the photos."
This is a nice property. Not great like we expected from the photos, but its nice. The pool was dirty and stagnant, the water level wasn't even reaching the filters and it was filled with bugs. The service was awful, with the exception of Yvette and one other person at the front desk (can't remember her name). They were great, but everyone else barely […] said anything to us, looked away as we passed by and didn't seem to know much about anything. We had an awful dining experience our first night, the food was tasteless, overpriced and cold. My wife and I were so disgusted with everything after our first night (the a/c in our room didn't work either) that we wanted to take a 5 hour bus ride back to The Haven in Boquete where we had just come from. Yvette promised to make everything better and she did help. She upgraded us to a suite and gave us a few amenities, so we stayed. The whole experience was just alright. "hit the bar at the end of the pier"
I have said it before and will say it again. Go to the hut at the end of the pier - they have great food and it is nice to sit out over the ocean. the pool is nice, especially if you have kids as it is very shallow. The beach...eh, not so much. also, dont try to walk here from the airport even if you see lots of people walking...get a taxi for 2$.

The pool was nice, and the bar over the ocean had fantastic food. but the beach was less then desirable. very rock and murky water (not the hotels fault, i know. but if you want a hotel that you can really enjoy the beach at, this may not be the best choice). very friendly staff, all bilingual.

Extremely Clean-Room was comfortable and the beds were heavenly. A little far from town and there is no ATM on the premises so be sure to take out lots of cash to pay for taxis.

Charmante Hippyatmosphàre in Boca town, dies ist das einzige Familienhotel und liegt ausserhalb des Ortes. 3x Shuttlebus kostenlos ist gut. Strand ist sehr ungepflegt (algen), klein und das Meer trübe. Der Pool war sehr angenehm. Das Hotel ist ganz aus Holz, es wird ständig gestrichen, ist trotzdem rostig und extrem hellhörig. Das Problem ist die Feuchtigkeit, […] wir wechselten 3x das Zimmer, doch überall stinkt es und da ich eine Schimmelallergie habe, bekam ich Asthma. Die Kleidung war immer feucht. "Playa Tortuga: Suficiente"
Mi esposo y yo nos quedamos los primeros 5 dias de nuestra vacacion en este hotel. No es exactament el marriott, pero se le aproxima bastante. Es el unico hotel en esta zona que se consideraria hotel completo. Esta fuera de la ciudad, lo cual es bueno si uno anda buscando tranquilidad. Nos gusto la piscina, el aire acondicionado que funcionaba rebien, […] camas muy comodas, y cable tv. El hotel no tiene playa normal para bañarse, pero sí puede uno tirarse al agua a nadar. Un 80% del personal fue muy bueno. La comida del restaurante me recordaba a un Friday's, no me enloqueció pero me satisfizo. Recomiendo siempre pedir agua de botella, de otra forma le serviran agua de tuberia. Este hotel es para la gente mas tradicional. "Un poco lejos del centro del pueblo"
El hotel está muy bien, muy buena atención del personal, la comida es buena, las instalaciones están muy bien... te llevan al aeropuerto y al pueblo sin costo... pero se me hace algo lejos del pueblo y de la acción si es que te gusta la vida nocturna... aunque hay muchos taxis por lo que finalmente esto no es mucho problema...

Tuvimos una estadia muy agradable en el hotel y en general en Bocas, nos encanto y apenas tengamos oprtunidad volveremos, ya a nuestros amigos lo hemos recomendado. Lo unico que falta es que haya la opcion de late check out por un precio razonable la que nos ofrecieron fue carisima por un par de horas. Gracias

el hotel está muy bien y bien situado es una pena que se coma tan mal.... los empleados eran bastante mal educados y poco amables, sobre todo las camareras
"FALTA MUCHO"
En realizada lo de recomendar el hotel esta entre el SI y el NO, no es tan absoluta la respuesta. El hotel no cuenta con actividades para los pasajeros, ni deportivas ni artísticas, sólo algo para los niños pero muy básico. No hay programado nada a la noche, llega un momento, tipo 11:00 PM que no hay posibilidades de nada dentro del hotel, hasta el […] bar se cierra. La organización de los circuitos turísticos, todos en lanchas, es PÉSIMA. No hay el más mínimo respeto a las personas, fuimos tratados como "ganado" e incluso hubo gente que a pesar de haber abonado la excursión, NO VIAJÓ. El hotel no puede permitir este tipo de atropellos, también son responsables de los sucesos, son los referentes número UNO a la hora de hacer esta evaluación. UNA VERDADERA PENA. Подробнее
"Playa Tortuga - Hotel para relaxar"
O hotel é muito limpo, os quartos são muito confortáveis, o café da manhã é muito bom. Está um pouco distante da cidade, mas há serviço de shuttle gratuito entre o hotel e a vila - e vice-versa - em horários pré-agendados na portaria. Para quem vai surfar no caribe, está próximo a várias praias de surf, que podem ser acessadas em táxis caminhonetes […] por U$ 2 apenas. O ponto fraco é que o hotel não tem uma grande gama de atividades além da piscina, muito bonita inclusive. Faltam raquetes nas mesas de pingue-pongue, há só uma rede de vôlei e não há monitores disponíveis para quem vai com crianças. O "fitness center" é o maior fracasso do hotel, há só uma multiestação e duas esteiras, sendo que uma delas e a bicicleta ergométrica não funcionavam adequadamente. Assim, se você vai relaxar ou surfar, tudo bem, porque o hotel é limpíssimo, bem conservado e aconhegante, mas se pretende estar em um resort cheio de atividades, esqueça... Подробнее
"Hotel Playa Tortuga Naturaleza y Tranquilidad!"
El Hotel Playa Tortuga, es un hotel muy comodo con vistas espectaculares, la gente es amable en general, si es un paseo familiar esta muy bien, hay actividades para los niños una amplia piscina para divertirse. todos los días si se quiere se pueden hacer paseos en lanchas que salen directamente desde el muelle del hotel. Esta muy bien!
