Enjoyed my weekend just wish the tiki bar was not so expensive. Maybe double beds should all be changed to queen size!!

My wife and I were for the most part satisfied with our 3 day stay. The beach, pool, restaurant were beautifull. The restaurant had good tasting food, was prepared to our order, and the restaurant was clean. With the exception of one clerk at the all important front desk just not having a good day the staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel is in wonderful location right on the beach. Room was dark, A/C unit was loud so we could not run it at night. Leaf blower guy was out at 8:15am around the pool, very noisy. We did not eat in the restaurants so cannot rate the food.

Hotel is older and in some places shows, but the location is spectacular!! The service is great, the beach is beautiful, the pool is nice and the tiki bar that also serves food sits right on the beach Oceanfront rooms have great views and the buildings are smack dab on the beach...there are no pathways or grass..it's all white sand beach right up to […] your door. Room had a mini fridge (bigger than normal) & microwave. The only negatives because it's an older hotel are things they can't change like a roaring loud a/c (loud enough to wake you up when it comes on at night), the smallest bathroom (toilet and shower in one and sink separate) I've ever seen in a hotel where you literally have to stand back beside the toilet to close the door, the elevator is close to the size of a refrigerator (very small) so if you're claustrophobic you'll have to take the stairs like I did, and the sliding balcony door is hard to close as it sticks and is very heavy. As long as you accept those things you will love your stay. This hotel is geared to a laid back relaxed beach vacation. Publix and Chick fil a are conveniently located right across the street and there are several great restaurants in walking distance. Note: Chick fil a was painfully slow. There is also shuffleboard and volleyball for the kids. As long as you're not expecting a brand new shiny hotel you'll love this place because the location can't be beat. Подробнее

Hotel was a bit shabby and had a slightly unkempt feel (lightbulbs out in the room, lamps unplugged), but the staff was helpful and the location superb. The pool was heated and great for the kids, and we loved that the tiki bar was right next to it so our kids could swim while we lounged and watched the sunset! Overall, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the rooms, and hotel in general, for what I had to pay for ($200 a night). This hotel (to call it a resort is giving it too much credit) could use a lot of improvements. Just the overall condition from the rugs in the hallway and the rooms, to it's lack of cleanliness , was off putting. The staff […] behind the front desk were coughing and talking about how they had been sick for several weeks, which is not a good thing either. This was our 3rd stay at the hotel. The hotel sits right on the beach, with a lovely pool and beach bar. We enjoyed leaving the car, and walking to the store, shops, restaurants all nearby. Breakfast was made even more pleasant by the lovely staff.

If you're looking for just moderate comfort, then I would recommend it, I should add that my room was a bit musky. However, the air-conditioner helped remove it considerably. The location is excellent with a supermarket and pharmacy across the way. It has easy access to the trolley even though most people have autos. Rooms are equipped with a refrig, […] micro, coffee pot and table for dining. The resort has a pool and leads directly to the beach. We stayed for 7 nights. The locations was great, right off the beach. Room service was slow. stair carpet replacement was in the middle of the day for days. Elevator needed attention as well as rooms.

Affordable place for a family. Prompt service, clean room, pool and beach. Lots to do nearby. I was surprised that there was wall to wall rugs with the pool and beach being right outside. When we woke up in the morning one door was blocked off because they were drying the wet rugs, I wonder if they smell in the summer....

The staff were great. The room is not anything out of the ordinary; but very comfortable... location is great, food is very good. We really liked the protected feel at the pool... we could enjoy the beach from a distance; yet we were protected from the wind. The beach is GREAT... the groomers do a fantastic job, yet were not obtrusive.

After spending two hours calling hotels up and down St Pete Beach, I finally found one that had smoking rooms available. After calling them directly, I was told they had them available. The room (Smoking Room) was booked and prepaid. They each blamed each other for the mistake and I was told no accommodations would be made for me. It wasn't until I threatened to go somewhere else, that I was offered an upgrade to a room and was told I could smoke on the balcony. Staff was nice, room was not great, tv channels were messed up, Fox News had no volume, Animal Planet & ABC Family had no picture. The window was very dirty. The pool was great though, very warm & clean. The only bad thing about the pool is that it closed at dark, so about 6pm in December. The beach was great!

Enjoyable time spent at the Dolphin Inn. Plan to return for a longer stay. Pool was great with a beautiful view of the Gulf. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to friends.

I didnot enjoy this hotel. It was much older than the web pages showed. The room was very musty and it stayed that way the whole time we were there. The only good thing was we had a balcony right on the beach, we could sit there and listen to the ocean and watch the sun set.
