У нас с женой было 4 дня отдыха на море после тура по Греции. Познавательная часть + отдых. Хорошее сочетание. Отдых в отеле заказывали сами через Hotels.com. Все получилось прекрасно. Середина апреля - еще не сезон для морского купания, но, при хорошей погоде - уже можно. В это время отель почти пуст. Завтраки - отменные, обеды - в кафешках на берегу с видом на море. А среднем обед укладывался в 30- 35 евро на двоих, включая 0.5 л. вина. Обслуживание в отеле вполне приличное, все очень внимательны и доброжелательны. В номере чисто и аккуратно. До моря 50 метров. Рядом с отелем - православная церковь, где мы и встретили Пасху.

Останавливался в этом отеле с 10 по 12 апреля 2012г. Отель расположен недалеко от центра и станций метро(пройти пешком минут 15 неспеша). Окресности, где он расположен, не располагают к прогулкам в вечернее время(с 17 часов на улицах много непонятных людей, арабской внешности, тусующиеся кучками по 5-10 человек). Рядом есть продуктовые лавочки, но я предпочёл покупки в магазинах более-менее напоминающие супермаркет(от отеля метров 100-150). Номер чистый, убраный, единственное - мало места в с/узле(особенно в душе). Очень большая слышимость в номерах, входные двери в номера не шумоизолированы. Но за такие деньги конечно всё нормально(если вы остановились не на долго).

Хорошее расположение,рядом площадь Омония.В отеле приветливый и доброжелательный персонал.Мою машину без проблем служащая отеля припарковала.

Отель Epihotel Appia в Афинах имеет прекрасное соотношение цена/качество и отлично подходит непритизательным туристам, посещающим Афины для осмотра достопримечательностей и проводящих в отеле только ночь. Отель расположен крайне близко ко всем основным достопримечательностям, но толпа имигрантов на улице отеля и соседних может напрягать. Хотя по всюду достойные отряды полицейских и вы всё-таки чувствуете себя в безопасности. Также хочется отметить прекрасный персонал отеля на ресепшене - помогают с любыми вопросами и настроены крайне доброжелательно.
Местоположение.
Отель Faros 1 Hotel располагается в деловой зоне в городе Пирей, неподалеку – Афинский порт, Mikrolimano и Стадион Karaiskaki. Также неподалеку Стадион Мира и дружбы и Олимпийский комплекс прибрежной зоны Фалиро.
Особенности отеля.
Отель в городе Пирей предлагает следующее: кафетерий/кафе и бар в лобби отеля. Бесплатный беспроводной доступ в Интернет в зонах общественного пользования. Дополнительные услуги отеля: стойка консьержа, помощь туристам/услуги по бронированию билетов и обслуживание номеров (по расписанию). За дополнительную плату гостям предлагается трансфер из аэропорта и обратно (предоставляется по запросу). Это отель для некурящих. Срок окончания полного ремонта отеля: июня 2008 г.
Номера.

Guests arriving via bus on Route X 96 are advised to disembark at Dimotiko station, the nearest bus stop from the hotel. Guests arriving by metro should disembark at Monastiraki station and transfer via train for Piraeus. Piraeus port is a 10-15 minute walk to the hotel: from the port, continue on Akti Miaouli Street toward Gate 10. There, cross the road for Skouze Street, and continue on Skouze for 2 blocks. Turn right on Notara Street, where Faros 1 is located. For Faros 2, continue past Faros 1, and turn right on Kolokotrini Street. Faros 2 is the left.

"Приятное пребывание"
Хороший недорогой отель для ранних выездов из порта Пирей (коло 10 минут пешком). Район был не очень, но сойдет. Персонал отеля был приветливым и гостеприимным, номер был чистым, хотя присутствовал слабый запах табака.
"Хорошая остановка на ночь"
Мы приехали в 11 вечера на автобусную станцию Пирей, выпили у причалов и затем поехали в отель Фарос. Это место идеально подходило для остановки на ночь, чтобы затем сесть прямо на наш паром утром. Никаких жалоб.
"Не ругайтесь на округу"
Рядом с портом, чистый, гостеприимный, идеален на одну или две ночи.

По сравнению с окружающим районом, внутри отель очень милый и комфортабельный, с бесплатным Интернетом. Но район вокруг отеля дурной. Драки и крики не стихали до утра.

Просто помните, что это отель находится у ворот парома Е10… Мы, своего рода, заблудились, когда искали его на пути из порта, и были вынуждены взять такси. Отель действительно рядом с портом, и остановки автобусов до аэропорта. Единственное, что в коридоре и номере пахло дымом... "Faros1 A great place to get stuck in."
A great little hotel, with the best staff you'll find anywhere. Have stayed there 4 times and will go back for sure. On one occasion we where stuck in Piraeus for 4 days due to a ferry strike, and the staff could not have been more sympathetic or helpfull.It's not in the best of areas but we've had no problems. They have a travel agency in the hotel […] and the manager Stratos has allways done an excelent getting ferry tickets for us even when there in short supply. Two very comfortable nights spent in this hotel. Everywhere was clean and shinning. We didn't eat in the hotel but the dinning room looked very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and supplied everything we needed. Will stay here again, especially when we need to catch an early ferry. "Faros I"
It was a little hard to find the hotel from the map, but after asking directions, I found it. Room was as others have said- very clean and equipped with everything you need. Just a basic hotel room, nothing fancy, but clean and convenient to island ferries.
For the price of this hotel, especially if you booked in USA, the cost of staying in Faros 1 is a lot less than others in the the same area. However, the bar across street and the bar next to Faros 1 were very noisy until early morning; towels in our room did not smell clean either. Recommend FAROS 2 which is a bit higher in cost but better.

"Only for cruisers"
I saw it written somewhere that the hotels near the port cater to sailors instead of tourist. This is definitely true. I only reccommend this hotel to those looking to save a little money on a one night stay leaving on a cruise early in the morning. "Great for the early ferry"
We arrived in the evening tired and feeling a bit lost having not been to Greece before. Piraeus seemed dirty and horrible and we had some trouble finding the hotel from the metro ( no street names displayed!) Once we arrived at the hotel we relaxed and our holiday began. We were welcomed and helped with a few difficulties plus our breakfast was booked […] for 6.30 the next am so we could get the 7.30 ferry. "Not a Great Place, But Convient to Port"
This is not a great hotel. The room was very small, not much bigger than the bed. And, the air conditioning didn't work well, which can be awful in the summer humid heat of Piraeus. The best thing about this hotel is that it is very close the port. If you are just looking for a place to sleep before getting onto a cruise ship, it is adequate.
"Nice Hotel but Dodgy area"
The hotel is nice and new but is in a very dodgy (unsafe) area. The approach from the Piraeus port (where the ferries from the islands come in to) seems to be some sort of a red light area. The breakfast at the hotel leaves a lot to be desired and we ate elsewhere. Thankfully it was only for one night, won't be going there again.

Great little hotel in good location nice and close to the port. Didn't get to see too much because we arrived late at night and left early in the morning. Surrounding area is a little interesting, but I didn't feel unsafe. Only slight problem - our non-smoking room smelt of smoke!

Excellent hotel for a few nights' stay near the port - convenient and clean. The only thing is that it's a bit hard to find.

"very good location for port"
rooms very clean with modern bathrooms. balcony nice to have but looked onto the alley behind and into the next building so had to keep curtains closed for privacy
"Nice and Money Worth"
Basically everthing is good. The hotel looks new, the interior is in excellent condition. Receiptionists are friendly and helpful. The only thing that I don't really like about it is the location. It's quite far from port entrance and there is no Metro near by.

Easy access to Pireaus ferry dock for when you get in late or need to leave early. We ran into a lady staying there for her Athens vacation - NOT recommended as it is quite a ways from the Metro and not somewhere as close to all the Athens attractions in the Plaka district.

The location was good, about a 20 minute walk to the middle of the port, maybe 30 mins to the metro. "Hotel Faros 1 en el Puero del Pireo (Grecia)"
Yo solo pase una noche en este hotel,porque al otro dia temprano tomaba un ferry,asi que no puedo opinar mucho,pero para las personas que estan en nuestra misma situacion el hotel esta bien,no muy lejos de la terminal del puerto, y la calidad/precio tampoco esta mal.
Hotel trés bien situé pour ceux qui veulent prendre un bateau. De plus il y est possible d'y avoir les billets des differentes compagnies maritimes jusqu'à 21 heures. Trés pratique.

Hotelli oli erittäin hyvä hintaan nähden. Henkilökunta oli palvelualtista ja mukavia, he auttoivat joka kerta kun kysyimme reittiä johonkin tai tarvitsimme apua Ateenan kaupungissa liikkumisessa. Ainut huono puoli oli, kun saavuimme pimeään aikaan satamaan ja oli vaikeaa löytää hotellia, sillä se sijaitsi pimeällä kadulla.

Really sweat staff. They helped us keep contact with the airport as our luggage were lost by Air Baltic. This hotel is within walking distance to the ferries. The train goes from behind boat terminal 5 to Omania, near Athens Plaka (old town and Akropolis).

Hotellet virket bra men området rundt virket litt lurvete uten at dette betyr så meget. Vi hadde 2 rom og hun som bodde i det andre så små dyr som hun trodde var kakkelakker. Vi vet ikke sikkert. Mycket bra läge för den som ska vidare med någon båt från hamnen, c:a 20 min promenadväg med packning. Nära till helt ok restauranger i bra läge vid mindre båthamn. Det finns även möjlighet att boka båtresor till alla öarna på hotellet. Parece que el Pireo es una zona muy grande y que no es siquiera Atenas, o el centro esté lejos del Pireo, así que este hotel es muy recomendable para si uno llega tarde de las islas o se va temprano a coger un ferry hacia las mismas, pero no para visitar el cogollo de Atenas. El hotel es practicamente nuevo, la gente es muy muy amable y todo está bastante […] bien, así que es una buena elección. No es muy caro. "Hotel proche des embarcadères pour les îles"
Hôtel propre et très accueillant. Situé dans une rue assez bruyante la nuit (mais ça ne m'a pas empêché de dormir). Chambre et Salle de bain correctes et bien équipées. "Overraskende bra"
Hotellet ligger veldig bra til i forhold til hvis du skal rundt omkring på øyene. Det er masse bra restauranter og butikker i nærheten av hotellet og kort vei inn til Athen sentrum. Dette er et sted jeg vil anbefale par uten barn og reise.
"Holder ikke det de lover!"
Hotellet fungerer som en mellomlanding når du skal videre med båt neste dag. Men hotellet er langt ifra røykfritt. Dette var en stor skuffelse. Det røykes i alle rom, noe som du kjenner veldig godt ved ankomst. Eneste som er røykfritt er resepsjonen.
