Отель действительно очень понравился. Я понятия не имел, чего ожидать, но все было отлично. Персонал был крайне услужливый. Остановлюсь здесь снова. Занавески от дневного света могли бы получше закрывать окно, чтобы дневного света не было, но я просто придираюсь.

Это очень милый отель в идеальном месте рядом с морем, недалеко от центра города. Единственная критика: душ ничем не отгорожен от ванной, кроме подвижной пластиковой загородки, так что пол может быть мокрым после принятия душа. Из нашей комнаты был отличный вид на море, и она была довольно комфортабельной.

Теплота, расторопность и простое дружелюбие людей, пожалуй, было лучшим моментом. Расположение отеля и роскошная цена оставили крайне положительное впечатление.

Мы прибыли на утреннем рейсе из США, и, несмотря на то, что заезд невозможен до 14:00, они предоставили нам комнату, поскольку она была готова уже в 9:00. Отель расположен в хорошем месте, но я бы не считал, что они предоставляют полное обслуживание. У портье нет переходников и кабеля для компьютера. Первая комната, куда меня поселили, была тесной, а ванная миниатюрной. Я поменял комнату и остался доволен.

Доступный отель в отличном месте. Он был чистый, но нам пришлось просить убрать комнату, когда один раз они просмотрели наш номер. Душевые очень тесные, очень легко затопить ванную. Кровати очень удобные, но маленькие.

Мы забронировали номер практически в последнюю минуту и получили хорошую цену, особенно для 3-звездочного по качеству отеля. Комнаты были простыми, но чистыми и просторными. Just spent 5 nights here and had a great time. This is a perfect location to walk everywhere and the breakfast was better than most you get in the states. Make sure you ask to use the spa downstairs-they don't advertise it much but it is great! Our room was really small but comfy-if you have traveled in Europe you will be used to this size room. Great location with a good view of the ocean (worth requesting one when you check in), just a 5 min walk to the main shopping streets and 5 min walk to the harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff who will help with tour bookings and dinner reservations. All tour groups offer pick up's and drop off's from right in front of the hotel including daily […] buses like the Netbus service to the Blue Lagoon and Flybus to the airport. The hotel spa downstairs has a hot water stone bath, steam room and sauna. Ask receptionf for bath robes, slippers, a couple of champagne flutes and an ice bucket and you can enjoy a relaxing and very romantic evening after your day's excursion with a bottle of bubbly for two in the spa! Breaksfast is pretty big, hot and cold buffet as well as a self-service waffel machine for a sweeter option. The restaurant is located at the top of the hotel providing a great panoramic view of the harbour while you sip your coffee. First the negs: We arrived exhausted to a surly clerk- who turned out to be just filling in, and got more pleasant over the next day. Our room was so small, in spite of the title and charges of "deluxe", that only one of us could move at a time. The towels were worn and/or stained. And you had to ask about the spa- if you didn't know you would never find out about it. Breakfast remained exactly the same day after day, and rather odd with noodles and beans and wienies in addition to the usual Icelandic fare. There are hefty surcharges to arrive early or leave late. On the plus side: Good location with a rental car- easy to get out of town and easy to find free on-street parking after business hours. It was an easy walk anywhere else we wanted to go. The rooms were warm (we went in February) and the real staff was professional and very helpful. The hot pool, saunas and steam room were clean and pleasant, and open long hours. On the whole, if the room had been larger, and if there had been space to unpack a bit (3 tiny shelves and 6 hangers in a double room didn't help much) I would be happy to call this more than a budget hotel that left me wondering if the hostel might be more comfortable. Good clean hotel within walking distance of all to see in the city. We had a great view of the ocean, and the included breakfast was on the roof top. This provided a panorama view of the city. The flybus picks you up at the airport or blue lagoon and drops you at the front door of the hotel and visa versa.

This is absolutely the closest hotel to an event you might be attending at the Harpa convention and concert center. Very Scandinavian-feel design, everything works and is convenient. To top it off, the staff is friendly and helpful.

I'll admit I was somewhat of a sucker for the pics of this place, as boutique/design hotels in America tend to have interesting people watching and a lively bar scene. But this is not a "W" Hotel by any means, and the "design" aspect is basically just IKEA furniture. White walls in public areas just show dirt and dings, and the hotel in general just […] feels hastily built and ill-thought out. The room was very clean, but walls were paper thin and the bed wasn't very comfortable (why do hotels in Scandinavia have such narrow blankets?). The location isn't anywhere special, but anything in downtown Reykjavik is pretty much a 10 minute walk anywhere else. What I will say is the free breakfast on the top floor was EXCELLENT and possibly worth staying for alone. During our trip to Iceland we stayed at both the Center Hotel Arnarhvoll and Center Hotel Plaza in Reykjavik, within a couple days of each other, so I'm in a good position to compare the two. If I had to choose between them, I'm not sure which I would prefer because the pluses and minuses I observed basically cancel each other out. As other reviewers have indicated, these hotels are in the center of all the action, which is great if you want to explore Reykjavik on foot. We had a room with a view of the harbor at Arnahvoll, which was much nicer than our view of the side of a building at the Plaza, but otherwise the rooms were very similar. Small, but sufficient. The bathrooms are quite tiny with showers that are barely separated from the toilet, so this may be a bit uncomfortable for American tourists accustomed to full bathrooms with closing shower doors and/or bathtubs. No big loss unless you plan to spend a lot of time in the shower. The bathroom was somewhat bigger at the Plaza, but I'm sure that varies room to room in both locations. The breakfast at the Plaza was superior to the breakfast at Arnahvoll, and for me this was the most notable difference. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Hotel was close to main shopping street and minutes away from one of the main tour bus office/terminals. The beds, blankets, pillows were all extremely comfortable - none of us woke up with sore necks or backs wishing we were at home in our own beds!! There was no fitness room. The only computer was situated on a wall across from the elevators so high up on the wall you break your neck to see the screen which everyone else in the hotel can see, so you have no privacy (bring your own computer). The service staff in the dining room were ridiculously rude and the food overpriced and not good.- they […] don't even offer skyr at their gratis breakfast, which is a must have when in Iceland. The showers (with a strange half glass door) are impossible to use without soaking the entire bathroom and the water temperature varied throughout showers. The rooms got very hot from the sun (one guest asked for a/c, here in Iceland!). Importantly, it has blackout curtains for the 24 hour midnight summer sun, so you can sleep . We booked and prepaid this hotel on March 25 for a July 2 2 night stay. We arrived after midnight on a flight from New York. The staff was courteous and we got our room right away. It was 1/2 level below ground and adjacent to the parking lot so any cars coming or going had headlight shining in our room. The deadbolt did not line up and would not close […] and there was the constant opening and closing of doors as people came and went. In the morning I talked to the front desk about our problems. The clerk came to our room to verify the lock did not work and told us not to worry because no one had a key to the room anyway. When asked about changing rooms we were told they were booked full that night and as such they had to use all the rooms even the ones that weren't as desireable as others. This raised several questions to me. Were all the other rooms already assigned at 10 in the morning? Why go to the expense of deadbolts if they are not needed? Were we given one of the worst rooms in the hotel because we used Hotels.com and a a good rate? Not knowing what to expect from a hotel in Reykjavik, I was exceptionally surprised by Center Hotel: Arnarhvoll. The rooms are very clean and modern. The floors are tile, but they are heated so you can go barefoot without concern. The bed was super comfy and my exceptionally tall husband fit nicely. With so much sunlight (roughly 20 hours during our stay in May) the pull down shade was helpful, but the sheer curtains didn't cover the gaps. they might want to think about a slightly more opaque curtain. The location is great. Far enough from the main roads that you have peace and quiet at night but close enough to be able to walk everywhere you might want to go. The true gem is the daytime desk staff. They are so helpful and can book anything you need and will be happy to help. If you book in advance you can even receive a very nice discount. Lastly, the included breakfast is in a lovely setting (top floor overlooking the harbor). The food: cereal, yogurt, toast, fish, eggs, bacon, hot dogs, more fish, fruits, veggies, a bit more fish, ramen noodles, rice, and a little fish, is very good (even if you don't like fish). My stay at CenterHotel Arnarhvoll was quite pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable...great beds, nice tv. The spa was very comfortable with an inexpensive one time fee for my entire 10 day stay. The location was convenient to all the main areas, had a nice view of the harbor and quite for sleeping. The reception staff were very friendly and helpfull. Our allocated room on arrival was called a small double, but as there was only one cup and one glass it was obviously a single room. I spent 5 nights at this hotel in early September 2009. I chose it after reading extensive reviews on Hotels.com and other websites and was extremely satisfied. It is well located for shopping, eating, and transportation. It's a 2 minute walk to the main shopping street. The staff was extremely helpful, responsive, and professional. Some of the other […] reviews had a different take, but in the 6 days I was there, I saw none of the negative behavior I saw described in other reviews. Regarding the restaurant staff not being helpful in selecting a good coffee shop, etc., most of these workers are not from Iceland, are not well-educated, speak only their native language well, and truly cannot be helpful in that regard. (This should be apparent from a casual observation.) A decided advantage of this hotel is location: close to all you want to see and do in Reykjavik, but far enough away from the main streets that you get a good and quiet night's sleep on Friday and Saturday nights (during the raucous "runtur" or pub crawl). Also, the spa in the basement with sauna, steam room, and soaking pool are a welcome relief after a day of walking and sightseeing. The views from the dining room are spectacular. We stayed for three nights and had a room overlooking the harbor. Gorgeous views of the summer 'sunset' and morning sun. The windows are sound proof when closed but if open during the night you can hear cars passing on the main road. Service was good and rooms were cleaned well. Wet room/shower/bathroom was a bit funky especially when water got everywhere […] but a much better option than a yucky shower curtain sticking to you! There was a shampoo/shower gel dispenser no separate soap and shampoo/conditioner but the usual shoe mitt, shower cap and sewing kit surprisingly. The waffle bar (how cool is that?) at breakfast was one of the reasons I picked this hotel plus the short walk into town. It is also a short walk to the Grayline tour office and pick up point so no need to wait. We enjoyed the location. Overall, good quality for money. Подробнее

You will hear the highway traffic. The room does not have a/c. The duvets are too warm for the summer. I floors are slate, so you will hear movement from above: avoid rooms on the top floors (just below the restaurant) because you will hear footsteps starting at 7 am. Stayed at CenterHotel Arnarhvoll for 3 nights in July 2009.. They have a beautiful spa on the bottom floor (for an additional fee). The hotel is just off the main street which ensures a more quiet stay. The room was very comfortable but small... The continental breakfast was excellent

Litt lytt mellom rommene og ut i gangen. Frokosten var ikke den beste men helt grei.

Rent og pent hotell, små rom, men veldig tidsriktig interiør. Bra beliggenhet. Sparsom men ok frokost inkludert i prisen. Halvparten av resepsjonistene var veldig vennlige, hjelpsomme og imøtekommende. Kunne bodd der igjen. Spør om rom med havutsikt :-)

Meget god beliggenhed og flot, flot udsigt fra værelset og fra restauranten. Designermøbler, men ikke meget hygge på værelset. Vi havde nok regnet med lidt mere "luksus" ud fra beskrivelsen. Af lidt skuffende ting vil jeg nævne: - Der var dog koldt på værelset, da vi ankom. - Badeværelset var meget koldt under hele forløbet, fordi der slet ikke var […] varme derude. Desuden trak det voldsomt fra ventilatorristeren og den larmede pga. vinden - begge dele så meget, at vi forsøgte at tætne den med toiletpapir. - På et tidspunkt kom der en utæthed i afløbet under vasken, som oversvømmede gulvet.
