We found the hotel very easily from the station just off the old town square. Check in was easy, the room was pleasant, the spa bath wonderful after a day's walking. Some irritations were that lack of a means to indicate that we didn't want to be disturbed and the phone kept mysteriously ringing with no on one the other end. Love the classic/modern look of this hotel. All 5 star amenities and fixtures. We were upgraded to a suite for free which was quite nice. Super close to the main square in old town krakow. My only complaint is that the gym hours were limited and the breakfast was on the pricey side. Also the lighting in the room wasnt great. Hotel Scary exceeded my expectations. The location was convenient for walking everywhere we wanted to go. It was quiet and the spa and pool area perfect as we had just completed a marthon in Berlin. Very stylish hotel in fantastic location just off the main square. Very helpful staff. Food and service in the restaurant excellent. Public areas beautifully designed, However by 5 star standards, our room, particularly the bathroom, was not as clean as it should be with black mould around the edges of the bath. Other reviewers have commented on the […] ridiculous lighting which is a triumph of style over function - particularly the fact that you have to get out of bed to turn off the bedside lights. (Maybe only a trivial point but if Travelodges can get this right why can't a 5 star hotel). We also found the room to be very noisy with a lot of noise particularly from rooms above, as well as the usual moronic fellow guests who think it is ok to shout and laugh in the corridors in the early hours of the morning. Better soundproofing is required in a hotel claiming to be as upmarket as this one. Many years ago the motoring writer Lawrence Pomeroy tested an exotic Italian sports car which was wonderful to drive but broke down several times, and came to the conclusion "a car which does not get you home has no compensating advantages". For me the essential requirements of a hotel are that it is clean and quiet, and sadly Hotel Stary, despite its quality in many areas, fails to compensate for its shortfall on these essentials. Extremely quiet hotel. Had a night out with my Polish friends, got a good night sleep and no hangover next morning. On a more serious note, this place is amazing. However, the front desk people could make an effort to produce a smile, at least once a day per customer. Guys, this is Cracow, city of poets and love, not a graveyard!

This hotel is beautiful. We were thrilled when we arrived and saw the hotel. Our cab driver told us that the British soccer team stayed in the hotel a month prior. In an attempt to be too "edgy", room gave up comfort. Though very large, there was no comfortable place to sit, just two smallish chairs. Nights stands were ridiculous -- extremely high. Cool design but could not easily reach the top when in bed assuring that a glass of water would fall off. Service excellent; bathroom sublime.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay here for our first wedding anniversary. We were allocated a suite upon arrival and had fruit waiting for us as well as a bottle of Prosecco on the evening of our anniversary - such a lovely touch! The room itself was superb - huge, with a large bed, tasteful furniture and a separate dressing room which was useful […] considering that we had a lot of heavy/bulky clothes with us due to the -25 degree C weather. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, monsoon shower, heated floor & L'Occitaine soap/shower gel etc. Breakfast was delicious, good selection on offer and would recommend the hot chocolate. Occasionally the staff were a little slow to take our order for hot food but this wasn't a huge deal. The pool/sauna/steam room were stunning and it was a novelty to have a massage in the salt cave. I'd recommend taking the glass lift up to the top floor for a look at the view, I bet the roof top bar is a lovely spot for a drink in the summer. The central location of the hotel was a real bonus, but it felt like a safe haven from the chilly weather outside & looked forward to coming back each day. Plenty of good bars and restaurants close by - Scandal Royal, Betel, Opera and others that we didn't have time to try. Would definitely stay here on a return visit! Подробнее

Hadde fire særdeles bra netter. Spesielt var beliggenheten bra, med kort gangavstand til "alt"i byen. Store fine rom, fri internet, Fint svømmebaseng i kjelleren, flott "skybar" på toppen med utsikt mot markedsplassen.

クラクフの街の中心地でもある織物会館から徒歩30秒ほどの立地なのでどこへ行くにも便利。ただ唯一ホテルの入り口は見過ごしてしまいがちなほど小さかった。扉を開けるととても近代的なホテルの内装で、ホテルのスタッフは皆若い方ばかりでテキパキとした印象。クラシックな雰囲気を求める人にはお薦めではないけれど、快適な滞在でした。朝食をいただく１Fのレストランがとても素敵な空間で朝から気持ちよく食事をすることができました。 お風呂もジェットバス付きのバスタブで一日歩き回った体の疲れを癒してくれましたし、アメニティーは全てロクシタンで女性には嬉しいです。もしまた行く機会があったらまた滞在したいホテルです。
