Excellent. Room key cards were very frustrating and exasperating. Need to be upgraded.

The complimentary breakfast needs more items, the muffins were bite size and the bread appeared to be stale. Not impressed. Rooms are budget priced, you get what you pay for....

The hotel was very out dated. Not enough towels in the room. Had to ask for an ironing board and they had one to share for the whole hotel and it was falling apart. There was no one at the front desk when checking out. Toilet didn't flush properly. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

we booked in the winter so no use of the outdoor pool lobby was clean and so were the rooms

The hotel room was very clean and well kept. The lobby was also clean. The breakfast was just what we expected, nothing fancy but there was lots of it and enough for us to get going in the morning with. I would stay at this hotel again. The bedding was clean and also had a nice clean smell.

Grand kids LOVED the waffle maker - front desk didn't mind having children eating and checking email in lobby. Very friendly a.m. desk clerk. Free breakfast for 3 adults and 2 children...Priceless! Will stay again.

This is not a place I would stay again. The cleaning staff where amazing and did the best they could. I was very sick when I stayed at the Super 8 and they cleaned up after me and asked how I was constantly with no complaints. Bravo to them. The managers where always on personal calls and when we asked to have our fridge fixed it did not happen for […] 2 days and they blamed the cleaning staff for not doing it instead of telling the truth that they forgot. Also the air conditioner and rad filters had not been replaced in some time so when turned on the room took on a musty bad smell and this smell did not go away. Old, outdated, and gross. Once again I must say this had nothing to do with the cleaning ladies, they only had so much to work with and I feel they did the absolute best they could. We chose this hotel as it had an outdoor pool but it was not maintained nor where there any loungers, tables or umbrellas to make it comfortable to sit outside, there were only broken plastic sit up type chairs. Rooms are small but clean. The desk wasn't aware I was staying there because when a family member called trying to each me they were told I wasn't there although I had several rooms booked under my name. If you want to be close to downtown it is fairly handy, Small offerings for breakfast.

Our stay at the Super 8 Hotel in Chatham was anything but pleasant. We had booked a King size Non Smoking rm. We walked into our room and immediately smelled the foul and lingering odour of stale smoke. We called the front desk and the clerk said that ALL the rms in the hotel were non-smoking rms. I asked her why our room had an ashtray in the bathroom […] and she said that it must have been left by other guests?!? She also said that they were fully booked and we would not be able to change rms. We tried our hardest to air out the rm as I have asthma and the smoke smell really affects me. The night became worse when a large bridal party returned to the hotel @ 11:30pm and resumed their party in the adjoining rm to ours as well as the 2 rms across the hall. After 45mins of listening to the loud partying we called the Front Desk to complain. The clerk called up to their rm to relay our message. This made them more mad as they realized who the complainants were and they started 'partying' louder, banging on our walls, yelling and running up and down the hall. The party resumed in the parking lot and we were able to get back to bed....until 2:30am when they came back and started all over again. We called the front desk @ 3am to complain again. The clerk once again called their rms to complain and they got even louder. The idea of leaving, even sleeping in our car was looking more and more like a decent idea but we didnt want to leave our rm as there was at least 10-15 people that were very intoxicated and rowdy just outside our door that were not too happy with our complaints. Needless to say, we only managed to get 3hrs sleep that night between our frustrations of the lack of respect from the other guests and the clerks unwillingness to 'handle' the situation. When we checked out in the morning we asked the clerk who checked us out whether this hotel was all 'non-smoking' and she said "No, your rm definitely is a 'smoking room'." We have stayed here several times in the past few years as the location is convenient for us as we visit relatives in a nearby town. Service is very pleasant, and the price is very good. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance.

The room was clean and modern, the staff were accommodating, the price was right, and the breakfast was passable (waffles were undercooked but the coffee and cereal were good). Only one complaint -- it snowed, and the plow created snow drifts all around my car! Staff wouldn't or couldn't shovel for me, but they did offer a shovel.

It was a very nice place. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The room was clean, and the bathroom also. Overall, very nice for the star rating. The outdoor pool was not heated, but still clean.
