Regent by the Lake Hotel - Эмблсайд

Должен сказать, это один из лучших отелей, где мне приходилось останавливаться, и на самом деле я думаю, что его следует классифицировать выше, чем 3 звезды! У нас была комната на чердачном этаже, с собственной крышей и видом на озеро Windermere. Это был совершенно прекрасный вид, и я бы хотел продлить свое пребывание. Комната сногсшибательная, и сервис […] даже лучше. Мы собрались сходить в бар и заказать напитки, и нам доставили их прямо на крышу нашей комнаты - никогда я не встречал еще такого обслуживания. Девушки - работники стойки отеля и сотрудницы ресторана были самыми дружелюбными, которых мне приходилось встречать, трудно ожидать чего нибудь больше. Я только могу ждать возвращения в Lake District, чтоб остановиься в отеле снова!! Подробнее

На самом деле мило, чисто, удобно, просторные спальни (у нас была одна из "садовых веранд"). Хороший завтрак. Хорошее местоположение.

Официантки в ресторане фантастические, очень доброжелательные. Трудно будет найти им замену, если однажды они оставят эту работу. Улыбчивые девушки, я знаю, работа у них очень тяжелая.

Идеальное место, чтобы оставить машину в гараже, и в пешей дистанции до центра, чтобы без городской суеты прогуливаться от отеля. От отеля через дорогу - пристань, можно добраться до других мест с прекрасными видами озера. Современное оформление комнат, кровать не такая удобная, как дома, но после целого дня прогулки на свежем воздухе заснешь без укачивания. […] На завтрак в отеле был очень хороший выбор, и подавали его до 12 часов. Один недостаток - текущие работы по отделке фасада отеля. Наша комната выходила как раз на фасад, и по утрам в понедельник-вторник невозможно улежать. Пребывание в течение трех дней очень расслабляющее, несмотря на то что все вокруг было покрыто глубоким снегом. Главные дороги были очищены. В отеле было очень тепло, как в комнатах, так и в общих помещениях. Персонал также был очень услужливый. Хорошее обеспечение пароходами по озеру избавило о необходимости пользоваться автомобилем. Мы были приятно удивлены этим отелем, расположение напротив озера Windermere давало прелестный вид. 15 минут ходьбы до Аmbleside village и к местному водопаду порадовали, несмотря на погоду. Can't fault the hotel at all Staff were brilliant always wearing a smile from 9 in the morning till late at night Rooms were brilliant Shower was probably the best I have ever had Would recommend to all of my friends

Really Good Hotel right on the lake. Nice decor, great staff and a 10 minute walk into Ambleside Centre. Breakfast was superb with the added bonus that you can have it until 12:00; so when the weather is bad, you can have a much needed sleep in first!!

Great value hotel offering great service and a top restaurant. Breakfasts are outstanding.

Excellent Location in lovely surroundings. Very comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and service. Plenty of parking facilities. Thoroughly enjoyable stay and very likely to stay again. Certain areas did need some redecoration.

The hotel was right on the lake and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Ambleside. The room was comfortable, clean and had nice decor. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and there was quite a range to choose from all included in the price if you are bed and breakfast. Nice romantic getaway!

I was charmed being on the edge of lake windermere, and the surrounding views of the mountains made the location lovely, the room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. the breakfast in the mornings was something i relished! and can recommend the kippers, the hotel is obviously situated in the middle of the lakes so is convenient for surrounding […] visits for walks and other activities. and would not hesitate to go back. A great location for exploring the lakes, whetehre by foot or car. Hotel was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The great plus is the relaxed breakfast which is served from 08 00 to 12 00. Splendid selection of dishes (I recommend the kippers). So you can lie in or have an early morning walk. Dinner however was a bit more rushed. The […] food was good in quality and price but our main course arrived as we were only just finishing our starter. That aside I recommend the Regent as a splendid place to stay to enjoy the Lake district. Подробнее

The hotel has really friendly helpful staff and is extremely welcoming. The food was fantastic.

Lovely Hotel and location very clean and food was excellent but lacking in atmosphere and an informal bar to socialise in with other guests. The meals would have been more enjoyable if the service had not been so rushed, the time between courses would be a bonus.

Hard to find fault here. The location was excellent, just a few yards from the lakeside and the piers where the boat trips began. The room was very good, comfortable and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't really spend a lot of time in the hotel, just daily breakfast which was excellent. we booked a double room with bath and found they only had room with shower available. As we are both disabled this was pretty useless. We were not happy

excellent breakfasts, great quality food and choice, and fantastic to be able to have breakfast up to 12.00, allows for a walk to build appetitie! we stayed in a garden room, spacious and comfortable, good location and great service.

My husband and I spent 3 days at The Regent on the Lake in July 2010 and found it to be a wonderful place to stay if you want to tour the Lake District. We were given one of the garden rooms behind the hotel which was very pretty and beautifully decorated - there was even a little balcony with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy a coffee in the sunshine. […] The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were lovely, so much choice. The hotel is yards away from the waterfront at the north end of Windermere. Ambleside itself is about a mile away. The hotel is very comfortable with good service. We ate in at the evening as there wasn't much suitable choice in walking distance. The food is imaginative and good, if a little expensive. The staff were always willing to help. This hotel is in the perfect location, is immaculately clean with pleasant hardworking staff. The food, especially the evening meal was outstanding,one o the bet meals I've ever had...wonderful. The communal lounges were comfortable and relaxing. I would definately return and reccommend to others.

We had a great stay, the hotel location was wonderful but we weren't sure the wiring of the lights was very clever, there were three banks of switches which had to be operated in various ways to make (all) the lights come or off, aside from this dleight t'was a good place to be with nice staff

Very nice hotel boasting excellent food. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good and a lovely breakfast the following morning. Service was attentive and efficient. Our only gripe was that because we had a small room with a sloping ceiling (room 18) there was insufficient space for a stand up shower. Stayred in a superior room - well worth the extra. Rooms not in hotel so be aware that you may get wet going to breakfast. Initially bathroom could do with seal cleaning and replacing and floor in bathroom needs scrubbing but the hotel was VERY good. Breakfast excellent. Bar and restaurant staff very helpfull. Good location, across the road from […] the lake - 15 mins walk to Ambleside Town centre where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Indoor pool very small - did not venture in.
