Hotel Milton Roma - Рим

Это хороший отель с хорошим местоположением - метро Manzoni прямо через дорогу. Наша комната была шумная из-за уличного трафика, но персонал и еда очень хорошие.

Мы остановились в июле 2011 в Milton Roma и находим, короче говоря, что это превосходный выбор по деньгам и как отель, и мы определенно вернемся сюда. Большая проблема с римскими отелями в том, что ближе к центру расположенные дороже стоят и демонстрируют худшее качество отеля и сервиса... Побывав в Риме, скажу, что расположение в самом центре - это […] возле фонтана Треви или Пантеона, но тяжело там с недорогими отелями. Итак, как же оказался Milton Roma в самом верху списка? РАСПОЛОЖЕНИЕ - очень хорошее, всего около 400 метров от Колизея и пешком недалеко до других достопримечательностей вроде Римского Форума . Честно, мы из гостиницы обошли ВСЕ основные места Рима , а до мест вроде Ватикана просто добирались на метро, которое через дорогу от гостиницы - превосходно! (Метро это подземная железная дорога, очень дешевая, быстрая и простая. Возьмите карту на стойке отеля и проштудируйте загодя,там есть красная и синяя линии, которые мы однажды перемешали, экономя несколько драгоценных часов праздника, время!) Отель находится в маловпечатляющем визуально месте с элементами граффити, но мы чувствовали себя в безопасности, как на основных трассах снаружи. Бонус: на пути к Колизею вы проходите маленький супермаркет и банкомат справа через пару сотен метров, отлично взять немного наличности на день и запастись водой для походов! Сам отель чистый, очаровательный, и завтрак замечательный. Персонал на стойке превосходный, хорошо говорящий (8/10) по-английски и очень услужливый. Сотрудница, работавшая с нами большую часть времени, очень милая, шутила в подходящих случаях и всегда улыбалась.РИМ - Рим это восторг. Возьмите хорошую камеру, выучите пару слов вроде "Здравствуйте, пожалуйста, спасибо и до свидания", и местные жители оценят, что вы немного говорите на их языке - что может изменить в лучшую сторону уровень сервиса! Мой опыт в этом отеле был на 5 с плюсом, настоятельно рекомендую, милые люди.

Очень удобная ванна королевского размера. Немного шумно от трафика рано утром. Ограниченное количество горячей еды на завтрак, но хорошее континентальное меню. При отеле бар закрыт большую часть времени, так что стобы выпить перед выходом, нужно пересечь дорогу. Почти все туристические места в пешей дистанции. Колизей в 15 минутах ходьбы и Испанская […] лестница в 30-40 минутах прогулочным шагом. Хорошие карты почти всех мест доступны и бесплатны. Поклонникам ресторанов: попробуйте возле Колизея и в других местах. Средняя цена основного блюда 15 евро, и закуски от 3 до 11. Пиво дорогое почти везде в ресторанах - 6 евро за примерно 330 мл. У стойки напитки дешевые. Смотрите, если кто-нибудь предложит перейти поближе в очереди в Ватикан. Придете около 23 00 вечера, и очередь будет на 15-20 минут,без нервотрепки. Хорошее расположение в пешей дистанции от Колизея и через дорогу от станции метро Manzoni. Единственный минус - шум в некоторых комнатах (кроме 220) от трамвайной остановки и постоянного трафика..

Отель расположен примерно в 700 м от Колизея. Окружение хорошее и не слишком близко от задворков главного вокзала. Моя комната была очень шумная по вечерам из-за поездов и метро снизу. Мило сервировали завтрак. Почти 3 звезды по стандартам США. Он не стоит той цены, что я платил.

Подходящий отель вблизи Колизея и Форума. Прямо напротив станция красной линии метро - всего 15 минут до Ватикана. Комнаты маленькие и шумные, поскольку отель стоит на оживленном перекрестке. Завтрак был среднего качества.

Liked the hotel and its location. The room faced the street and was extremely loud. There is no sound insulation so sleeping was not too easy. Nice buffet breakfast. Wifi included.

The hotel is just 10 meters away from the Metro which is very handy when you have been walking the whole day. The condition of the hotel is average but the same goes to any budget hotel in Rome. Clean, well located and that is all. Staff was friendly but not accurate, No in-room Cattle or anything that might contribute to your confort actually. Carpets need a major re-do.

Hotel Milton Roma is right at the metro stop, making it very convenient for a Roman holiday. It is also a short walk to the Collesseum. Perfect walking distance to most sites in Rome, room was clean and comfortable but with such an amazing city you don't spend any time in the room.

Good breakfast and clean bed, white linens & towels with reasonable prices. Just at metro station Manzoni which is good for travel but a little noisy during nigth.

I booked single room. However, the room is not in the main building, but in the back section with staff break room and linen storage. this is not a problem. the problem is the smell of mold in the room. the water form shower runs to the whole floor of the bathroom and also socks the carpet in the main room. I went to the front desk to tell them the […] problem, but was told there is no other available. I couldn't waste my precious time to argue with them , but left a note requested to change a room. We really liked this hotel. It was very close to the Metro station and we could access the central train station easily. Breakfast was good with very convienent hours of service. The are several good restaurants within a few blocks. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I recommend this hotel. On Metro line that makes the sites convenient. Great breakfast. Checkin person had an attitude but perhaps this comes with being in Rome. Only negative thing--no wifi. I would stay here again.

This hotel is right across from a great subway station. It was also in walking distance to the Coliseum. Our room was small and the shower (at least in our room) did not have any shower stall or shower curtain. So when you took a shower you showered in the whole bathroom. Very convenient to the subway and bus lines. Within walking distance to Collesum and the Forum. Several restaurants within walking distance as well shops and bars. The front desk staff was very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. When we go back to Rome we plan on staying at the Hotel Milton Roma again.

The location is amazing. My wife and I were able to walk to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. The colosseum was just over a half mile away and a straight shot down the same road as the hotel. However, although the rooms had good size, we did not feel that they were as clean as they could be. For example, the carpet in our room just seemed to be a little warn/dirty and the bathroom shower could have been cleaned a little better. There were some scuff marks on the walls. The beds were firm, which I did not personally like, but some people do. There is also no fitness facility for those that may be interested in that. Overall though, the room was comfortable to be in and the hotel itself was clean. The hotel did offer a decent spread for breakfast so it is worth the additional cost to include with our room when we booked. There are plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Although not a true four star hotel in my opinion, I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit the historic attractions Rome has to offer. If you are vacationing to Rome and not concerned with seeing the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Vatican City and/or Spanish Steps, then I would suggest that you find a more modern/upgraded hotel with a few more amenities. Small rooms (as usual in Europe). Clean. Very good breakfast. Most important - must ask for a room in the internal wing: my room was on the side facing the street (Viale Manzoni), so it was very noisy at night - ambulances, car honks, rail tram,...

Great friendly staff. The room was functional and clean and the location of the hotel very good. But it just isn't worth of the it's four star rating or price. For example the bar never opened. No wifi in the rooms.

Strongly recommended especially if it's your first time in Rome. Have stayed there twice so far and would do it again. Convenient to find, right outside Manzoni Metro. This is never a four star hotel! The staff were five star, and the location reasonable. I came back to my room after a day out to discover a lot of ants running around my room - I have video footage. On my return to my room the second day, my room had not been vacuumed and my bed had been remade, but the sheets had not been changed. We stayed last week in this hotel on our visit to Rome. Good location from which you can walk to the main attractions in the city. Very tasty breakfast. Hotel room was a big "old", though clean and included A/C which is important in the summer in Rome. Staff were helpful and smilingly. Overall, good hotel for low price!

Had to change rooms twice due to a water leakage and a very, very small room (single room, but felt like a jail cell). The hotel was very accomating in changing rooms, but this did cause an inconvenience:-( However, the breakfast, hotel staff and hotel location was just superb!

Despite requesting a quiet room in advance as I am heavily pregnant, we were put in room 318 which abuts the street outside from which you can hear heavy traffic constantly. And any disturbances on the street are easily heard such as a drunken person which we had to listen to. We insisted on a room change and were given room 100 which is in a seperate […] part of the hotel and while away from the street, it is the centre of the service area so we were woken by the staff every morning. The breakfast is very average, with little choice and is not replaced if it runs out. I thought being on the metro line made this the ideal location but it is of little value as the metor line only services a small area in Rome and also the line on which this hotel is located is being renovated for the next year so it stops running at 9pm nightly. During my stay, I fell and injured my leg. The hotel staff were very quick to bring ice to wrap my leg and offer to call a doctor to the hotel. I hope nobody else has an accident like I did, but it's nice to know the staff will provide immediate and caring assistance.

It was a good hotel but would call it a 3 star rather then a 4 star as the rooms were not modern. It was quite clean though and the location was good. There was no wifi which is quite inconvenient as you have to pay for it.

The hotel is across the street from a metro station (2 stops from the main train station), so if you're going to get around Rome via metro this location would work for you. The hotel itself is very plain, a bit too plain for that price. Quite clean, receptionists are polite and very helpful. However, the hotel is located at an intersection, extremely loud. I woke up every night at 3am hearing the traffic and the walls were shaking.

The Hotel Milton Roma is very convenient. It is right by the Mestre subway station which takes you to all of the major sightseeing places. If you are game, you could easily walk to many of them from the hotel also. The staff at the front desk speak English and provide you with all the information you will need for your stay in Rome. The room was clean. Breakfast was better then most that we've had in europe. The hotel was really close to the metro which was nice. The staff was freindly.

I was asked to pay tax when I checked out the hotel. I told the clerk that the tax is included and I paid in full at booking through hotel.com, but he would not listen to me. After I got back home and looked the printout records, I was charged already. We had a marvelous stay at the Milton Hotel Roma. It was walking distance to the colloseaum and short Metro or bus ride to many other venues. The staff were great and they were very helpful. The breakfasts were great! Highly recommend.

Cons: After reading all of the great reviews, we decided to stay here on our recent trip. Our first room (on the third floor of the hotel) was on a major street, and the windows are single pane glass (NO noise filtration). It literally sounded like the cars were going to drive into our room.... all night. The third night they found a room on the other […] side of the hotel off of the main road. At first glance it was much better, until we walked into the bathroom and saw mold all over the wall. The shower is just a faucet with a drain on the floor (i.e. no tub) and the walls are not all tiled, so the drywall has molded quite badly (at least in that room). That night, when we went to sleep, all we could hear was a dripping noise in the wall. It sounded like there was a leaky pipe, and then we noticed the ceiling had a giant water spot. The hot water in the shower jumped all over the place. We went in early March, and despite cold temperatures outside, the room was very hot, and regardless of how low we turned the air conditioner, it made no difference. The windows in our second room did not open, so we were stuck being hot. Pros: Hotel staff were very helpful, and the continental breakfast was good. Cheap. Close to the metro (though the Rome Metro closes at 9:00pm every night but Saturdays for the next two years because they are doing construction on a new line). Summary: Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra for a nicer place closer to the city center. On the surface the Hotel Milton looks great, but once you dig a little deeper, you can see that you do, in fact, get what you pay for. Подробнее
