The Hudson Hotel - Эдинбург

Замечательно провели 2-дневный отдых в отеле Hudson. Хорошее расположение, замечательный персонал. В номере было немного шумно, но это компенсировалось тем, что отель имеет центральное расположение. Европейский завтрак был дороговат, так как в меню не было таких продуктов, как выпечка, фрукты и т.д.

Отелю необходимо сделать серьезный ремонт/обновление. Немногочисленный персонал был дезорганизован. Никто из служащих отеля не помог нам с багажом. В номере было душно. Из ванной текла вода. Пол скрипел. Мебель была сломана: у стула снизу отваливалась обивка.

Отель находится близко к замку, Princess Park, торговому району и разного рода ресторанам, включая Hard Rock. Номер достаточно просторный для двух человек + приличная ванная комната. В ресторане/баре внизу всегда многолюдно, и шум доносится до 1-го этажа отеля.

Мы с сыном жили в отеле Hudson на трехдневных выходных. Номер был довольно простой, но очень уютный и со всеми современными удобствами (халатом и т.д.). Телевизор показывает 6 основных каналов. Обратите внимание: в номере нет радио. Wi-Fi, однако, работает великолепно и без всяких сложных паролей (открытый доступ), поэтому проблема радио решается с […] помощью Интернет. В ванной есть колонка от телевизора - в некоторых 5* такого не встретишь. Завтрак (наше единственное питание в самом отеле) был великолепен. Персонал был очень добр и отзывчив. Замечательный отель в центре Эдинбурга! Отличное подойдет как для командировок, так и для отдыха!

Трудновато было найти главный вход отеля, но как только мы оказались внутри, обстановка оказалась современной и уютной. Персонал был очень дружелюбен и отзывчив: давали нам "туристические" советы и делали все возможное, чтобы сделать наше пребывание в отеле приятным.

Отличные, хорошо продуманные, уютные номера; идеальное расположение для знакомства с городом (как старой, так и новой частями), хождения по магазинам и посещения ресторанов - все находится в нескольких минутах ходьбы. Хорошее обслуживание, а в собственном ресторане для гостей отеля действуют отличные цены. The hotel overall was good. The only negative side of it was the bed really. We stayed in a double room but the bed was two single beds joint together and this made it very uncomfortable particularly as the bed where sunken like broken maybe. We also had dinner at the hotel which was fine.

I only stayed one night on business and found this hotel to be really good. The whole hotel (except for the stairwells) has a boutique feel to it and the rooms have been well thought out. The bar serves food until late so I did not have any problems eating on arrival. The quality of the food was excellent (except for the coffee at breakfast) and the […] selection was refreshingly different from many hotel eateries. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is great but there was a lot of noise from outside early in the morning. In my case this was actually good as I forgot to set my alarm and got woken up at the perfect time, but it could be an issue if you are not staying on business. The bed was very comfortable even for my bad back. Overall this hotel was a gem and I will definitely stay again if I need to go back to Edinburgh again. Подробнее

Good quality central hotel. One minute from Princes St. Room was comfortable and good size. Bathroom needed an up date, but nothing major. Good price at the time of my visit which was business one night stay. Breakfast extra and although expensive for a small amount was good. Staff were all excellent.

The Hudson is a well maintained, modern hotel with good sized rooms. Dinner at the hotel bar/ restaurant was good and very competitively priced. Breakfast was also good and worth the £8 addition. Free wifi is also available and has a decent signal. Would recommend

Room condition is slightly tired and needs a bit of attention. The bed is not that comfortable. But, apart from that great hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Will stay again.

Stayed here for Hogmanay 2011 - close enough to the action but without all the noise from Princes St. (half block away). Rose street super close too. Very cute hotel - loved the old charm of the building!!! Would definitely stay there again. Loved my time in Edinburgh - and the hotel was part of the enjoyment!

Staff are excellent - helpful and very polite, however cleanliness and general maintenance of the hotel needs attention.

Loved this hotel from beginning to end. Reception staff was so friendly and very knowledgable. Free newspaper to room every morning. Room was extremely clean and well kept... Couldn't figure out how to turn on mini bar, but I wasn't going to utilize it anyway. I'm sure the staff would have helped asap. Bar in the hotel was so convenient... U can bring […] drinks up to your room. Free wifi Internet. Bathroom impeccably clean. I had a street view, however it looked like most rooms faced the alley way. Only disappointment was the bed sheets as they were not fitted sheets so I woke up directly on the mattress every morning. Extra sheets and blankets were provided with no hesitation from staff. Located just off Princes Street, the city centre is a very short walk away. The hotel staff were exceptional and the rooms very clean and comfortable. A good Hotels.com rate made this a very affordable hotel. Criticisms were that the room was too hot and there was no air conditioning (the window had to be left open and a fan was provided which was ample); […] the street was very noisy which with an open window was tiresome; the breakfast proportions (other than the full Scottish) were measly and overpriced; and the single lift was tiny so if a group of more than 3 are staying some may have to traverse the 4 flights of stairs. The Hudson's best quality is its location on Charlotte Square at the western end of Princes Street Gardens. The major tourist destinations are all within walking distance, and the Express Bus to/from the airport stops one block away. I was very pleased with my atya at the Hudson Hotel. The service I received was excellent, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I'll definitely stay there again if I'm ever in need of a hotel in Edinburgh!

I chose this hotel for it's location. The location is great but the hotel is just OK. The rooms are dark and we have had difficulty in having them get the the room clean. This was finally taken care of by front desk manager, Mike. He was so apologetic and embarrassed at our polite he offered us an upgraded room, but by then it was our last night we […] declined, he then insisted we have a breakfast on him, which we accepted. At checkout we told Mike that we had two breakfasts, he said they are on us for your inconvenience. If you are looking for Kleenex, bring your own. If you are looking for Sky news it is not available in the room. There are five stations, two BBC and others that are not worth watching. If you need a shower cap, bring your own or pay 50 pence ($1.35USD) at the front desk. We ware in 201 over the street and pub. Noise from both will keep you awake until 3am. The staff at the Hotel Hudson was very helpful. The receptionist was helpful and made you feel like you were home. The room was very nice compared to some rooms in Europe. They have hardwood floors and a nice double bed. The restrooms were spacious as well. Although at the edge of New Town and West End. It is a nice area if you don't mind the walk to […] Old Town. The receptionist when we first entered the hotel was lovely. Our room was fantastic, very modern and very comfortable. All hotel staff greeted us with a smile as we entered and left the hotel throughout the evening. Wow - the staff here are amazing. They are so friendly and fall over backwards to help. The hotel itself did what it said on the tin and we would definitely return here and recommend it to others. The location was great and we could walk everywhere.

There is a fresh and youthful feel to this slick boutique hotel. The frills, and there are frills, are plush but not pretentious - we loved the elegant sheets, cushy bath towels, comfy robes, and absolutely glorious toiletries. Also, you'll find a nice selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the room - and a well stocked mini bar (here called […] an "honesty bar") with full bottles of wine and prosecco along with sodas and snacks. We enjoyed the downstairs bar too which was lively and cheerful - and our room was peacefully quiet. I was very pleasantly surprised by Hudson Hotel. It's at very convenient location so I expected a shabby place for the price I paid, but it was totally worth it. Very nice room, extremely clean, nicely designed and furnished, friendly stuff, internet access...I highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel... and staff. The reception ladies could not have been nicer... only negative was parking... and it was a bit difficult to unload luggage as it is on a busy street and our driving was not the best.

Hay informacion inadecuada sobre las reales condiciones del hotel. Esta viejo y mal mantenido. Diseño del baño inadecuado e incomodo. Desgraciadamente tengo de nuevo reservacion ya hecha para dentro de pocos dias, a regresar al mismo...

Bortsett fra dårlig rengjøring en dag og noe støv i kleskap, var det ingenting negativt å si om rommet eller hotellet, og mye bedre enn forventet etter å ha studert tidligere anmeldelser. Baren var topp, men god service, god mat og fin stemning. Gatearbeid utenfor trakk ned på omgivelsene, men når det er ferdig er også de på topp. Mange fine restauranter […] og barer i nærheten, shopping-gata Princess Street, P S Gardens og Edinburgh Castle i umiddelbar nærhet. Fin beliggenhed, pæne fine værelser. Morgenmaden i restauranten ok. Hotellets personale er flinke, men har ikke altid evnerne til at hjælpe så godt som man kunne ønske.

Totalt sett var vi fornøyd med hotellet. Trafikkstøy må en regne med i en bykjerne. Betjningen kunne hatt bedre kunnskap om aktuelle parkeringsplasser. Det som trekker ned totalkarakteren for vårt vedkommende, er de usedvanlig vonde madrassene. Det var som å ligge på et tregulv.
