We just stayed in Quality Hotel Midtown for the 3rd time. We particularly selected it because it is close to the target of our visit. And it was good enough to meet our needs. Every time we had a lot of work during our visit, thus, we couldn't rate spa, swimming pool, restaurant etc. The rooms are ok, very clean, having all we need, everything is working, furniture is ok but a bit old and shabby. The only exception is terrible air condition, noisy and hard to adjust. WiFi is free and working fine. In total, it is normal mid-range 3* hotel, very good for its price.

"Le Roberval - хороший отель, великолепное расположение"
Мы с женой жили в этом отеле два дня и нам абсолютно все понравилось. Персонал был дружелюбный. Мини-кухня с холодильником - большой плюс. Близкая, удобная и относительно недорогая (15 долларов за ночь) автостоянка. На завтрак не было ничего особенного (консервированные фрукты, стандартная выпечка), но он был бесплатный и подавался до 11 утра. Номера […] незатейливые, но чистые и, казалось, после недавнего ремонта. Главный плюс отеля - его расположение: до него легко доеахть на машине из США по трассе I-87. От самого отеля можно пешком добраться до центра города, Vieux Montreal, а также ресторанов и баров в Plateau, а на расстоянии квартала есть станция метро, откуда можно доехать до всего остального. Я не знаю, когда еще раз окажусь в Монреале, однако когда я там буду, непременно остановлюсь в отеле Le Roberval вновь. Подробнее
"Отель Roberval - отличное место для семей"
Путешествуем с маленьким ребенком, поэтому нам нравится, когда в номере есть мини-кухня и две комнаты, что трудно найти с нашим бюджетом. Отель Roberval удовлетворил наши требования в плане простора, стоимости, удобства и расположения. Номер был идеален, так как в нем гостиная и спальня были разделены кухней и ванной, что позволило нам укладывать ребенка […] в постель, а самим в то же самое время пользоваться спальней и ванной без риска его разбудить. Внутри было грязновато. Слив в ванной был усыпан волосами. Обеденный стол был липким, а в углах под шкафами были хлебные крошки. Кровать оказалась на удивление удобной. В нашей комнате находилась только одна тумбочка у кровати и одна настольная лампа (в которой была перегоревшая лампочка, когда мы приехали). Завтрак был достойный и нам понравился. Хлеб, круассаны, булочки, хлопья/каши, консерв. фрукты, йогурты, сок/молоко и кофе. Нам понравились с тосты с арахисовым маслом, круассаны и йогурт, поэтому мы остались довольны. Персонал не сказал нам, в что в отеле есть боковой вход с пандусом и тележкой для багажа, который мы нашли за день до выселения. В день прибытия мы в неведении поставили машину рядом с этим входом, и потом тащили 9 сумок в обход здания и 2 пролета вверх по лестнице, а потом поднимали все на лифте порциями, так как нам сказали, что в отеле не было тележки. Была проблема с дежурным сотрудником персонала, кот. разговаривал на смеси фр. и англ. языков. Остальные члены персонала свободно владели английским. Расположение для нас оказалось идеальным, т.к. мы хотели посмотреть Vieux Montreal, Latin Quarter и посетить Biodrome. Несмотря на то, что мы сами из Нью-Йорка, нас все же поразило количество бездомных на улице и в районе. В Vieux Montreal довольно интенсивное движение, поэтому мы чувствовали себя безопасно. Когда я один раз везла сына в коляске, за нами привязался мужчина, который кричал мне вслед непристойные слова. Я догнала мужа и мы вместе вошли в магазин. Подробнее
"Хорошая стоимость"
Отель был чистый, номер просторный и хорошо оборудованный за свою стоимость, окна открывались широко. Отель находится в центре, но район немного ненадежный: бездомные вокруг, и у Вас, скорее всего, будут просить мелочь, но мы с женой чувствовали себя безопасно. Отель находится на большой улице, поэтому если Вы любите спать с открытыми окнами, обстановка […] для Вас может показаться шумной. Мы сами жили в этом отеле в августе, и у нас в номере работал кондиционер, поэтому мы спали с закрытыми окнами. В завтраке не было ничего особенного: хлеб, фрукты и йогурт. Учитывая стоимость, я все же не жаловался. Персонал проявил дружелюбие, но абсолютно ничего не знал об окрестностях. Я трижды задавал вопрос, и служащие за стойкой не смогли ответить ни на один, причем служащие каждый раз были новые. Стоянка, которую мне порекомендовали опять же за стойкой, была на ремонте, о чем они вообще не знали (администратор сказал, что никогда на этой стоянке не был, хотя она находится прямо за углом), а потом мне не смогли посоветовать никакую другую стоянку (в районе несколько стоянок, пара из которых видны прямо из отеля). Мне также не смогли подсказать никаких близлежащих (или вообще каких-нибудь) круглосуточных магазинов (и опять, в районе их много). И наконец, мне не смогли дать адрес какого-нибудь магазина выпечки (любого в городе). Ведь это же Монреаль! Я был бы не против остановиться в этом отеле вновь, но я бы все-таки сначала рассмотрел другие варианты. Подробнее

Хорошие номера, хорошие перонал, довольно близко к старому городу. Нам с женой очень понравилось наше пребывание в этом отеле, так как он имеет хорошее соотношение цены и качества. Спасибо.

Отель меня приятно удивил. Номер оказался чистым и кровать была очень удобной. У меня был просторный номер-студия, в котором были холодильник и плита, но странно отсутствовала микроволновка. "Good value for your money"
Nice to have a kitchenette! Walking distance to underground mall, St. Patrick's Basilica and restaurants. Very nice staff. Bathrrom may need some updating though...

Very nice cleanliness, comfort, location and breakfast. But parking is horrible, front desk staff is not active and the shampoo box is not easy to use.Anyway, our family is pleasure staying there for two nights.

"You get what you pay for."
Check-in not computerized, ie., had to fill-out personal details because it wasn't available through the net company that I booked with. Tile vs rugs in hall ways and half the rooms means very loud hallways and very dirty ones in winter. Wish there was sheer curtains on window as room was facing building across the street. Parking is half a block away […] and very challenging. I would consider parking in this garage quite a challenge with a van. Lighting in room very dim. Lighting combined with colour makes this a very sad place. These two factors would make a big difference to me if they were fixed. Over all we were pleased with the cleanliness of the room, and enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Good value for the money

The suites are very comfortable, the cleaning staff did not come to our room every day, and the parking was imposible!

"3min walk to Berry UQAM in Latin Quarter"
I stayed at this hotel suite room for 10 days until I found a housing in Montreal. Hotel offers the continental breakfast from 7 to 10 which was good for me because I could be lazy and get up late. There were a variety of bread like croissants and bagles, white or brown bread, even muffins (blueberry, raisin, chocolate) to choose from, several types […] of tea, nicely brewed coffee and a selection of fruit juice, oatmeal and other cereals for kids, hot cocoa and several tastes of yogurt. The room had a little kitchen facility in it like stove-oven, refridgerator even a coffee maker and a toaster plus pantry and cuisinery so you can go grocery shopping at IGA or PHARMAPRIX and cook meals which was convenient. I think the TV was Samsung smart tv. It displayed the whole script of the broadcast in English and also in French which helped me a lot when listening to a French broadcast. Also the wi-fi was free in the room and so were the telephone calls. Except the fact there was a little staircase right at the entrance ( I had to drag my luggages up and down on the check-in and check out) and that the sofa in the room was a sofa-bed which could have been convenient for a big family but not comfortable enough when seated. The hotel is pretty good for the price,the bed and the sofa bed weren't very comfortable but the place was very clean,good choice for a family on a budget.Good location,very close to old town and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.
"Close to metro and bus"
Easy home base for sightseeing. Easy to access public transport. Was in Montreal for a conference, and the Palais convention center is about 15 minutes away by foot. Very clean and comfortable, surrounding neighborhood somewhat sketchy.
I had a wonderful time staying in this hotel for almost a week. The hotel is conveniently located for my purpose. The staff were all very friendly and spoke excellent French and English. I enjoyed the morning breakfast. Although it would have been good if they have fresh fruits.

"Nice location but horrible parking"
Location and service are great. There is no space to load or unload baggage. You can not stop your car in front of hotel. Beside there is public parking, but always cops will trouble you, especially if your license plate is from Ontario. The parking is in the basement of another hotel which is almost 250 meters away. Only one way to enter and exit, if another car come against you in half way, then cross your fingers. Hotel breakfast is not bad. No tea bags in room- only coffee powder. "clean, but don't expect to sleep on the sofabed"
The location was great. We had a suite and I thought the layout was great, like a small apartment. The service was so-so. We asked for a microwave in our room at check-in, the man at the front desk said it would be right up but it never came. The kitchenette does have a full stove and refrigerator. very convenient location, close to subway station. Staff are very friendly, I learned some French:) room are clean, has everything we want. only AC was broken one night and nobody was there to fix it. In all, very nice hotel and I recommend!

The location of the hotel is the only plus point. I was disappointed with the cleanliness and the general upkeep of the rooms. The AC was not working and so the room was stuffy and warm. "Location is everything!"
It was my first time in Montreal with my fiance for a 2 night visit. We chose this hotel because of the location and good price and did not know what to expect when we got there. Here is my opinion of everything overall. From the outside and inside the hotel lobby, everything looks very crummy and low budget. But when I got to my room, I was surprised […] to notice that our room was very clean and proper. Even had a sink, toaster, microwave and fridge and flat screen TV. The downtown area surrounding the hotel is amazing. Tons of bars, cafes, restaurants, shops within walking distance, which was a huge bonus! Very busy area with lots of action and plenty of stuff to do. A couple of disadvantages of this hotel are the following: the walls are not very soundproof. At night when you are trying to sleep you can hear everything going on right outside your window, which will usually sound like drunk people yelling and partying and having a good time. Or if someone in the room next to you is watching T.V with loud volume at night, you will probably hear it. Also, when we stepped out of our hotel to explore the city, we came back at approx 4pm and the housekeepers still had not arrived to make our room. Apparently they show up at around 4:30-5pm which I think is a bit late. Also, do not expect much from their free breakfast in the morning. It only consists of toast, bagels, cream cheese, cereal and coffe or tea, etc.. You're not gonna get any eggs, bacon, potatoes (all the good stuff). Anyway, for the price that you're paying it's a pretty good deal for a downtown hotel, as long as you're expectations are not very high. For a group of 20-somethings coming to Montreal for a weekend, this location worked great. Walkable to the UQAM metro station and the old town, you could see all the sights quite easily. The staff is awesome. They are most responsive to the customer needs and in my case, I had a medical emergency that needed prompt service and attention. "Great for groups traveling together"
The hotel is in a great location for persons visiting Old Montreal and / or the Gay Village and with it being centrally located it has easy access to the subway for getting around. The room choices cand accomidate single travellers as well as groups with two bed room suites available for up to three couples. All rooms have a fridge, but the suites […] have full kitchen and stoves for late night snacking or making a full meal. The only down side to the hotel is sometimes the housekeeping takes a while to get to all the rooms and some room cleaning does not happen till 4:30 in the afternoon or as I call it, Nap Time before another night out on the town.
