Очень хороший отель для тех, кто путешествует на машине. Персонал вежливый, отзывчивый. Завтраки хорошие. Не очень, правда, понравилось кофе... Но это - на любителя. Если я поеду в Неаполь, то, думаю, остановлюсь тут же.

Recently we returned from the island Ischia where we stayed at the Grifo Hotel. We liked it a lot because it has many strong points: it is not big and therefore the staff is not numerous. But each and every (no matter a waiter or a manager) know how to provide a good service. For a example, on the second day the waiters know what you prefer to drink during the breakfast - water, tea or cappuccino. But we should give his due to the Grifo's owner - Alberto, because such a client oriented direction is specified by him - it is very important for him that the guests feel homey at Grifo. Though it is his work but he does it sincerely and with warmth. There was no a request which the staff could but did not satisfy. The hotel's atmosphere does not suppose loud night parties, vice versa it is a place for a quiet family rest. But it doesn't mean that there is no social life in the hotel - one evening Alberto invited a local musician who performed Italian and world's hits very beautifully. The hotel is situated on the hill and we were confused a little bit initially. But don't be afraid - almost all the time the guys from reception are ready to give you a lift to the seaside. Moreover, we appreciate the hotel's location because it's situated in the distance from the main noisy seaside road, where many other hotels are situated. So, if you like simple but perfect interior style, if you seek for silence and peace and finally if good service means much for you - the Hotel Grifo is a good choice.

"If You Must Go To Naples"
If you have made up your mind already that you definitely want to visit Naples, despite the fact that it's probably the eyesore of Italy, then this is a decent budget place to stay. "Don't Go to Naples!"
Hotel Zara is a decent hotel for the price and is only a few blocks from the train station. We decided to stay here because of the price as we were going to travel by train to Pompeii and see the Almafi Coast. The rooms are slightly run down but the rest of the hotel is really nice so not sure if they are slowly updating stuff or not. But Naples is […] trashy, nasty and a place you dont want to stay. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. Never seen so much trash in my life. If you are like me and still need to stay cheap stay in Naples close to the train station but dont be out after dark. When you get there you will understand what i'm talking about.... Подробнее
"Hotel Zara - Naples - an oasis in a dangerous city"
The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Extreme caution to travelers in Naples. My wife's bag was stolen right out of her lap from inside the car through her open window at a brief stop. Do not go into any secondary streets and stay by the ocean.
"Bathrooms"
If you have a room without a bathroom, the shared bath is not very clean, the shower is gross. The toilet is fine, they only give you one towel, which is kind of difficult because it is quite small for a shower. The double room is worth the extra expense unless you do not need to shower

"terrible area"
staying the last night of our trip to amalfi coast in Naples as was flying the next day. The area around the hotel is terrible and is is definately not safe - spend the extra money and stay out of town or a safe area of naples. The hotel was ok very basic and relatively secure - dont bother just go somewhere else safer.
