Very nice hotel. Food -very nice, location-very good, intreresting for children, hotel have a beach, 7 min from aeroport( 15 euro). Твердая четверка. Еда великолепная, облуж персонал приветливый, очень удобно расположен, с небольшим пляжем, есть катамараны, лодочки. Недолеко от центра Cavtat. Пляжные полотенца можно не брать, выдают по залог, потом залог возвращают. Бассейн удобен для детей, анимация детская есть. Единственный минус у нас в номере подтекала ванна, приходилось вытирать постоянно. Чудесный выбор-цена, близко к аэропорту, зав и ужин вполне достаточно, рядом много кафе для обеда, очень любят русских и очень приветливый народ.
Местоположение.
Отель Hotel Splendid располагается на частном пляже в городе Дубровник, неподалеку – Пляж Ляпада, Универсистет Дубровника и Бухта Gruz. Также неподалеку Фонтан Онофрио и Францисканский монастырь.
Особенности отеля.
Выйдите на галечный пляж и расслабьтесь. Проведите день на пляже, загорая в шезлонге, а если захотите отдохнуть в тени, к вашим услугам пляжные зонтики. Если вы захотите расслабиться с освежающим напитком, отель предоставляет к вашим услугам бар у пляжа.
Отель предлагает следующее: ресторан, а также кафетерий/кафе. Каждое утро в отеле предлагается бесплатный завтрак. В зонах общего пользования бесплатно предоставляется беспроводной доступ в Интернет. "Splendid Dubrovnik"
Удачное месторасположение. На берегу живописного залива. Тишина, сосны, море. Вид надо брать только на море. Неплохие номера, состоящие из двух комнат. Отель староват, но чисто. В нашем номере на первом этаже был сильный неприятный запах в ванной комнате.
Nice, splendid views to the sea from own balkony, quiet, conveniently located, every 20 minutes, fast bus connection to Pile Port just in front of the hotel on the road. Has own beach. I enjoyd swimming even in April. Friendly staff. We were very satisfied, good price quality ratio. The hotel was fine. There is free parking and a convenient bus right from the hotel which takes 10 minutes to the entrance to the old city. The location is not great given that it is far from the old city, but the bus connection is good and its location on a beautiful bay is a plus.

Nice quiet hotel , friendly staff, pretty views and clean bar and sunbathing area. Access into sea via metal ladder, small beach close by. Bar food good and inexpensive, hotel and surrounding area also popular with locals with Lapad beach, restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. "Nice but expensive for what it is"
The setting of this hotel is v good, as it's at a little beach/jetty, with sun loungers, umbrellas, and a little cafe. This makes it a v nice place to while away the day. There are regular buses, taking about 15 minutes, to Dubrovnik. Staff are very nice too. However it is an older three star hotel and so v expensive for what you get.

"Splendid Hotel in Dubrovnik, Croatia"
We stayed at the Splendid Hotel for a week and the hotel staff were wonderful! Always asked us how we were doing each day, remembered our names and room number, assisted with travel plans, etc. The breakfast was really nice with hard-boiled and scrambled eggs, different cold cut meats, cheeses, and breads, croissant, sausage, bacon, yogurt, granola, […] a coffee machine that made cappuccino, hot chocolate and other types of coffee, and a juice machine. "Not so 'Splendid'"
I was guaranteed a Kind Bed room and at check-in they put me in a 'prison cell' with a 90 cm wide bed. I haven't slept in a small bed like that since I was 12 years old and I had a horrible night. Not only was the bed too small, I could feel every spring of the mattress pressing into my back. When I tried to argue that I had reserved and paid for a […] King Bed room they said that I only have a single occupancy and this is what they have. No King bed for single travelers. "Hotel Splendid, Lapad, Dubrovnki"
Very impressed by Hotel Splendid: - Incredibly friendly and helpful reception staff (5-stars to all of them) - Smart clean rooms certainly worthy of the 3-star rating - Beautiful views across the Lapad bay and out to sea (get's the sunset - well it should if it hadn't have rained every night we stayed there) - Quiet peaceful location - Nice private […] beach - Breakfast nothing special but perfectly adequate (including good hot chocolate and coffee from machine) and lovely view across sea from the outside bit of the restaurant - Location about 10mins from the Old Town by the bus which goes every 20mins from outside the hotel. We will stay here again. Having walked past the other hotels nearby and seeing their waterfronts, we thought hotel splendid was probably best located out of all the hotels in the Lapad bay area and it was also the cheapest. "Hotel Splendid Dubrovnik - excellent accomodation"
Fantastically located in one of Dubrovnik's bays just next to shore however slightly outside the hustling city. Beautiful view towards bay and sea. Enjoy it's own beach. Unforgettably fiendly and fair staff. The best way for transport in DBV anyway is hiring a scooter. cons - no lift, internet access only in main lounge

"Splendid Hotel...Dubrovnik"
This is an older hotel in a somewhat run down area near dubrovnik. Accessible to the old city via Busline 4 every 20 minutes or so. The breakfast was not so good. The staff was helpful. Every room does have a nice view of the water however, which made it nice. Internet access in lobby only. Rooms are clean...though the bed had the slightest essence […] of lovers past. No pool. I had stayed in the Lacroma 4 star hotel the 4 previous nights...and that hotel was simply splendid...the breakfast was better than any meal I had in Dubrovnik the entire stay...from fresh squeezed Orange Juice to all the made to order omelettes...it should be 5 star...the pools, beautiful girl wait staff, and tremendously helpful staff, etc...made this hotel that hotel the greatest...and cast a shadow on the Splendid. "Missed the fact it had no pool"
overall the hotel rated very good on the criteria section of this questionaire, however I would emphasis that while we were on holidays we did miss having the option to go to the pool. Also I found the restaurant expensive and basic, the food actually tasted better than it looked (ironically) I would recommend the hotel uvala across the road if I was […] to stay in the same part of Dubrovnik, it was more modern (Splendid had an 80's feel to it) whereas uvala was more modern and the aromatherapy massage was to die for! Splendid is an excellent location if you want to take trips in and out of old town dubrovnik as the bus stop is right outside, if you were to stay on the other side of the beach in lapad you have a better choice of restaurants and bars than on the side splendid is on, you are restricted to the hotel being the only bar and restaurant - it rained for 3days out of our holiday and personally I thought one night in the bar was enough! Hotellet ligg fint til ved lapadbukta. Nydeleg utsikt mot sjø/uteområde. Fine uteområder, god sol/badeplass . Uteservering. Grei hotellstandard. Frokost: Ok, men litt enkel standard. L 'hôtel est très bien pour son calme, sa vue, son accès direct à la plage privée. Par contre le rapport qualité prix est moyen car nous devons payer en plus le transat, parasol et le transat. El servicio del personal es bueno, la ubicacion buena, instalaciones antiguas pero bien conservadas, ubicacion muy buena con playa. pequeña privada muy agradable. Mejorar el desayuno especialmente las maquinas del cafe, y en las habitaciones las cortinas que impiden el paso de la luz son muy mejorables.

Eine sehr gute mehrsprachige Rezeption. Sehr gute ruhige Lage. Sehr gepflegte Außenanlagen. Für Autofahrer guter Ausgangspunkt.

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, een royaal ontbijt en een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. De bus naar de oude stad vertrekt 3x per uur voor de deur, ideaal.
A good hotel, but elevator is required for elder people with heavy luggages. The room is quiet and has nice sea view. Breakfast is good.

Et greit hotell med hyggelig engelsktalende betjening. Grei standard på rommet, som ble noe svekket av at det var maur inne på hotellrommet og badet. Bortsett fra dette var badet stort og rent, og rommet (for 3 personer) var romslig og hadde balkong. Grei hotellrestaurant med godt utvalg i menyen. Hotellet har egen strandlinje med sol hele dagen. Beliggenheten […] er bra for dem som ikke må bo i gangavstand fra gamlebyen i Dubrovnik. Området Lapad er rolig. Det er likevel sentralt da bussforbindelse inn til sentrum (gamlebyen) er rett utenfor hotellet. Bussturen tar ca 15. min. Det var ikke heis i bygget der rommet vårt lå. Personer som er avhengig av et alternativ til trapp bør undersøke nærmere før bestilling. Fantastiskt trevlig personal, vänliga, lyhörda med utomordentlig servicekänsla vid alla tidpunkter på dygnet. Långt över förväntan. Vi kommer absolut att välja Splendid nästa gång vi åker till Dubrovnik. Kommunikationerna in till Dubrovnik fungerade utmärkt, buss fler agånger per timme, alltid i tid och 10 minuter in till gamla stan.
"Hyvätasoinen hotelli Dubrovnikissa"
Hotellin vastaanotto ja ravintola sekä siivous toimivat hyvin. Paikka on rauhallinen, mutta hieman sivussa Lapad-niemen keskeisista ravintoloista. Toisaalta bussissa pääsi aina istumaan, koska kohde ei ole ruuhkainen. Rauhallinen hotelli ja aurinko paistaa huoneeseen vain loppuiltapäivästä, mikä ei kuumenna liikaa huonetta.

"deserves the money"
The hotel is definitely clean. Breakfast is poor no idea about the lunch and the dinner. Personel is friendly and nice. Silent, tidy, moderate 3 star which you pretty much get what you have paid for. If you have a deeper pocket try to stay in the one which is on the next stop, by bus.
