Очень хороший отель для тех, кто путешествует на машине. Персонал вежливый, отзывчивый. Завтраки хорошие. Не очень, правда, понравилось кофе... Но это - на любителя. Если я поеду в Неаполь, то, думаю, остановлюсь тут же.

Recently we returned from the island Ischia where we stayed at the Grifo Hotel. We liked it a lot because it has many strong points: it is not big and therefore the staff is not numerous. But each and every (no matter a waiter or a manager) know how to provide a good service. For a example, on the second day the waiters know what you prefer to drink during the breakfast - water, tea or cappuccino. But we should give his due to the Grifo's owner - Alberto, because such a client oriented direction is specified by him - it is very important for him that the guests feel homey at Grifo. Though it is his work but he does it sincerely and with warmth. There was no a request which the staff could but did not satisfy. The hotel's atmosphere does not suppose loud night parties, vice versa it is a place for a quiet family rest. But it doesn't mean that there is no social life in the hotel - one evening Alberto invited a local musician who performed Italian and world's hits very beautifully. The hotel is situated on the hill and we were confused a little bit initially. But don't be afraid - almost all the time the guys from reception are ready to give you a lift to the seaside. Moreover, we appreciate the hotel's location because it's situated in the distance from the main noisy seaside road, where many other hotels are situated. So, if you like simple but perfect interior style, if you seek for silence and peace and finally if good service means much for you - the Hotel Grifo is a good choice.

Отель расположен в живописном месте!Всеь советую останавливаться в нем на 3-4 дня!
Местоположение.
Отель Grand Hotel Vesuvio располагается в городе Сорренто, неподалеку – Марина-Гранде, Museo Bottega della Tasia Lignea и Церковь Св. Франциска. Также неподалеку Sedile Dominova и Глубокая мельничная долина.
Особенности отеля.
Отель Grand Hotel Vesuvio предлагает следующее: открытый бассейн и открытый бассейн сезонного использования. В зонах общего пользования бесплатно предоставляется беспроводной доступ в Интернет. This small town is wonderfully located over white steep cliffs and offers a fantastic view over the Bay of Naples. Typical products from Sorrento are produced with these Limoni: Limoncello, a very tasty lemon liqueur, lemon chocolate, colorful ceramic articles with lemon motives, or lemon soap. Or, try more than 70 different ice cream flavors at Gelateria Bougainvillea.

Front desk staff were not the most helpful and appeared to be put out when questions regarding the area or services were asked but other than that no complaints about the hotel.

My 12 year old son and I stayed for one night in August and it was excellent! We enjoyed the swimming pool and all the other first rate facilities as well as having helpful and courteous staff around. "Grand Vesuvio - great rooms, lovely view"
stay at this hotel if you want a good, big room that's surprisingly quiet for a family hotel (i.e we weren't woken up every day by noisy neighbours, screaming kids etc!). We paid a little extra for a sea view balcony and it was well worth it. Pool area was decent. I's well out of Sorrento, there's a shuttle bus but the last run is at 11pm so if you're […] planinng on good nights out taxis are quite expensive - about 20 euros. If you're having a relaxing holiday and happy to be back the hotel by midnight it's great. Breakfast is ok but nothing special - basic continental. "Grand Versuvio - Sorrento - Very Basic"
Has a pool etc. but located far from town and the pictures do not truly represent the hotel. The shuttle drops you to the edge of town rather than the centre. More a tour bus location where the distance, service etc. does not matter at the end of the day. Very disappointing, has the 4 star basics, but poor service!

"Disappointing - not good value for money"
The location is nice with lovely views away from the town, but the frequency of the hotel coach into town isn’t sufficient, with the alternative taxis charging 20 euros for the 5-minute journey uphill (around winding roads with no footpaths). The hotel service isn’t every hour and there’s no service between 12:15 and 16:30 in the day. Insufficient bus […] trips mean that the last buses back to the hotel at night are crowded sweatboxes - people have to pack in and stand. When the coach broke down one night, despite reception staff’s assurances that the replacement coach would do several trips to ensure people were picked up, guests were left waiting up to three quarters of an hour for a coach back. When we arrived there were ants in our bathroom and room and, one night, our air conditioning stopped working (and wasn't very satisfactory on its highest setting anyway). We’d paid for a seaview and balcony, but the balcony was tiny. Our bathroom had no vents - very hot and steamy the hairdryer weak and the shower curtain was far too long so you struggled not to step/slide on it and stop it from clogging the plughole or leaking. Breakfast was average – the only cooked offering are eggs and there is little fresh fruit available (tinned but not fresh), although the breakfast staff were very attentive in bringing drinks. The pool at the hotel is nice but, combined with the problems and poor service we’ve experienced, means we think this hotel is poor value for money. Подробнее
"OK location w/ shuttle, nice amenities"
This hotel is very nice, out of the way from central Sorrento, but the shuttle takes care of that. The staff is stiff but helpful. The pool was very nice to have after a day of tramping around Pompeii or in the Amalfi coast heat/humidity. Sorrento is a great place in the evening, and is convenient for day trip to Pompeii,overall a recommend.

Ottimo hotel, ben posizionato e con diversi servizi gratuiti a disposizione.Da migliorare il fondo della piscina piccola, che rilascia residui fastidiosi per i piedini dei bimbi.Inoltre sarebbe bene esporre un listino prezzi nel bar della piscina.Nel complesso un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.Da ritornarci certamente.
