"Нормально"
Есть бассейн на крыше второго этажа, раположен почти в центре города, если повезет будет вид на море. Неплохо для кратковременного пребывания на 1-3 дня. Номера не первой свежести, но довольно чистые. Еда - не знаю не брал. Недалеко фуд корт, где вечером можно очень дешево и вкусно поесть. Почти напротив рынок продуктов. Отель превосходно расположен, в двух шагах от него ночной рынок. Из окон номеров выходящих на море открывается потрясающие виды, есть бассейн. Превосходный завтрак, весь персонал очень услужлив.
"Приличный отель"
Этот отель Le Meridien немного устаревший, по сравнению с теми, в которых я останавливался прежде, но он чист и все равно приятен, как и его замечательный персонал. Расположен удобно по соседству с ночным рынком и развлечениями. Единственное, что мы заметили и это было ожидаемо: бюро путешествий берет на 10-15 ринггитов больше за те же туры, какие вы […] можете забронировать в торговом центре напротив. Единственное, что нам не понравилось в номере это дурной запах из слива на полу ванной, и его не устранили несмотря на наши просьбы. В целом, мы все-таки остались довольны пребыванием в этом отеле. "Так себе, могло быть и лучше"
4.5 звезды можно дать этому отелю с натяжкой. Позже мы обнаружили, что здания в этой стране плохо строятся, они просто кривые (границы и углы - монтаж и арматура). Пол на этаже с номерами был неровный и не плоский, на нем были выбоины под ковром. В номере (и в отеле) была ошибка проектировки, что выражалось в наличии пространства между окном и наружным […] подоконником. Из-за этого курильщики в номерах для некрящих (и на этаже, одном из многих в здании) могли туда засовывать окурки (окна плотно закрывались - еще один промах планировщиков - для того, чтобы окна не открывались и чтобы кондиционер плохо работал, я полагаю). На подоконнике был пепел от окурков, хотя в комнате не пахло дымом! Но это ничего. Неплохой бассейн - ветка в сливе выглядела нелепо (дорога рядом?). Хорошая кровать с двумя подушками - здесь было комфортнее всего спать из последних 4 отелей. Шум сквозь входную (пожарную) дверь - вероятно из-за непродуманной проектировки и постройки. Отель оказался куда лучше, чем я ожидал. Расположен рядом с рынками и площадкой для прогулок. Стоит потратить больше и взять номер типа "club lounge" - превосходные виды на закат (с коктейлем в руке). Есть бесплатный wi-fi. Номер был очень чистым, удобным и огромным! Много приятных штучек в номере (халаты, тапочки, предметы гигиены и т.д.)

Очень милый отель - но в других местах не дешевле - отели международной сети всегда затратны!

Первым впечатлением было "ух ты" - номер был отличным. Хотя я был расстроен, обнаружив, что использование wi-fi в номере было платным. После того, как мы рассказали управляющему Алексу, что в другом отеле, где мы останавливались отдохнуть, мы заплатили за номер только треть от здешней цены, он учтиво предоставил нам бесплатный доступ к wi-fi. Бассейн […] показался нам вполне достойным, вихревой бассейн не работал, нам сказали, что понадобится 2 недели, что получить новую деталь. Во время нашего 6-дневного пребывания, за пару дней до отъезда вихревой бассейн/спа был отремонтирован. В мужской раздевалке тоже было спа, которое не работало пока мы опять об этом не сказали, только после этого его починили. После всего вышесказанного стоит отметить, что отель Meridian вполне себе. Очень хорошее расположение; до магазинов и заведений питания можно дойти пешком. Очень хорошее качество обслуживания и персонал на ресепшн. Номер чистый и в хорошем состоянии. Я восхищен и очень доволен своим пребыванием здесь. Реомендую этот отель всем, посещающим Kota Kinabalu.

We upgraded to a Club Lounge Room and it was definitely worth it. The room and bathroom was clean, spacious and luxurious and the bed super comfy. They offer happy hour at the Club Lounge with a great spread of hot foods, appetizers, desserts including free alcoholic beverages. The location can't be beat and is within easy access of the waterfront restaurants. While the hotel stay itself was fine, all my issues stemmed due to what seemed to be a lack of communication between Hotels.com - where i did the booking and the hotel itself. "Central location"
Right in the middle of the city and by the waterfront which made it easy to access places .
Spacious room but refurnishment is urgent needed as the hotel is become age. Hotel is packed with local residents who take an advantage to bring their children into the hotel and turn the lobby area become a play ground. I definately will consider the newer Hyatt Regency nearby on my next visit.

My family are happy with the hotel, in the context of both its hardware and services. The only thing is the leakage of water pipe in the washroom of our room that is classified as "luxurious seaview".

Excellent hotel with great service and a very comfortable and spacious sea facing room on the 10th floor which I paid a little bit extra to be upgraded to. Also stayed at Pacific Sutera Harbour and Promenade Hotel on this trip and Le Meridien was the best of the lot. Highly recommended!!

The hotel locates in the heart of KK, can enjoy the beautiful seavew and sunset directly from hotel rooms. Central market, food street, shopping malls are just opposite the hotel or only few minutes on walk. Hotel room is large and tidy, especially, comfortable. what surprising me is that, hotel provides 2 complimentry illy coffee as welcome drinks. […] It's really great! Unfortunately we have been sick during our stay in this hotel. Everybody was so helpful and understanding that we were glad that it had happend here.

The huge farmer's market is just across the street make easy and plenty of choices for fresh fruits and sea foods. Cooking is on the spot after you pick the items. Just make sure well done to avoid GI infections if not well cooked and not clean.

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and had excellent service. Despite a problem with the room keys (for all the guests), the staff and the management worked hard to solve the situation. I look forward to my next stay!
"Vacation"
Over all a good hotel, only one issue during our stay. Key card system to the rooms failed during new years eve, it took almost three hours to get access to our room.
Not a bad choice in Kota Kinabalu, nice location and access to the night market and shopping mall etc... The only downside is that the price does not quite match with its hardware facilities, or maybe that was a Christmas Seasonal pricing though...

I stayed 5 nights at the Le Meridien and then moved for 4 nights to the Shangri La at Tanjug Aru, where the rooms were priced three times higher. What a bargain Le Meridien offers! Spacious room with a great view of the sea and the market below, an uncrowded Club Lounge with a sweeping view of the sea and a friendly staff ever at your service. The hotel […] is also conveniently located downtown, with easy access to a number of massage service (low rates with very good service, compared to overpriced hotel spas), shopping, and easy pick-up for excursions. I also enjoyed traditional and Western meals at "Secret Recipe", a nearby restaurant, and a walk to the Sunday Market. The Concierge was especially helpful, and pointed out a cheaper way to see orangutans than going to the overpriced "rehabilitation" center at the Rasa Ria.
