Местоположение с открытием нового метро стало еще более привлекательным. Завтраки - очень достойные и разнообразные. Жаль, что в номере не было чайника. Понятно, что это дополнитеотные хлопоты, но зимой особенно приятно выпить горячего чая прямо в номере. Полы в ванной комнате без подогрева, а тапочек в номере не предусмотрено. Матрёшки, балалайки, медведи, цыгане и толпа иностранцев - это Петро Палас Отель. Нет, отель бесспорно хороший, но возвращаясь в него после прогулки по Питеру попадали будто бы за границу :)

Козырное расположение, сервис (вкл. трасфер аэропорт/отель, организация экскурсий) - твёрдая хорошо.

Нам очень понравилось пребывание в отеле Петро Палас. Расположен в одном квартале от Исакиевского собора и Адмиралтейства. Все достопримечательности мы осматривали передвигаясь пешком (в один день в Крепость, в Эрмитаж и Храм на Крови в другой) даже с 3 детьми. Мы забронировали 2 номера в отеле для нашей группы из 7 человек. Оба номера были приспособлены […] для удобства инвалидов (в одном из номеров было 2 доп кровати). Номер на шестом этаже был светлым и хорошо проветриваемым, с видом на внутренний дворик. В номере на первом этаже было значительно темнее, потому что из окна частично открывался вид на вестибюль и сувенирную лавку. Также в номере на 1 этаже не было освещения в душе и сейфа в комнате. Приходилось делить сейф в номере на 6 этаже, хотя ноутбук туда не помещался. Ни в одном из номеров не было защелки или дверного засова. В стоимость нашего номера входил шведский стол на завтрак, которым мы были довольны - много свежих фруктов и выпечки. Некоорые блюда менялись каждый день. Часть персонала говорила по-английски, а если не могли, то сразу же звали того, кто мог. Мы бронировали номера стандартного класса, при котором бассейном можно было пользоваться только с 7 до 11 утра, но мы пользовались им в любое время без дополнительной платы (и каких-либо объяснений) каждый день. Как отмечалось в предыдущих отзывах, отель превосходно расположен, прямо в центре всего. Номера были большими, хотя за такую цену ожидали немного большего. Горничные были превосходные, я попросил дополнительное полотенце в 4 утра и уже через 2 минуты его получил. Очень рекомендую бассейн и сауну внизу. Будьте внимательны - когда вам требуется регистрация, […] дожидайтесь персонал внизу. Мне пообещали отметку о регистрации и даже взяли плату за нее (10 долларов с человека), но так и не проставили. Отель превосходно расположен, лучше и быть не могло. Номера здесь неплохие. В первом предоставленном номере была проблема с кондиционером, но нам сменили номер как только мы сообщили, что в нем слишком душно. Отель был очень чистым.

Отель Петро Палас - отличный отель в дворцовом оформлении, полностью переоборудован и очень удачно расположен. В пешей досягаемости были Эрмитаж, Исакиевский собор, Невский проспект и прочие достопримечательности города. Превосходное расположение: в пешей досягаемости (моему мужу 83 года и ему было легко передвигаться) от Эрмитажа, Санкт-Петербургской Филармонии, Русского музея, Мариинского театра, Исакиевского собора, Казанского собора, Храма на Крови, магазинов, ресторанов и т.д. в общем-то рядом было все, кроме Александро-Невской Лавры. Шведский стол на завтрак разочаровал: […] небогатый выбор блюд (2-3 вида сосисок), водянистая яичница, безвкусная выпечка, один капустный салад, самые жесткие оладьи, какие я когда-либо пробовала. Даже завтрак в киевском отеле был лучше (я уж молчу об отеле Rembrandt в Лондоне и многих небольших отелях в сельской местности Италии). Персонал был неприветливым и высокомерным, кроме одного носильщика, который помог нам с багажом при выписке из отеля и горничной. Все остальные были мрачного вида с непроницаемыми лицами, и каждый раз делали вид, что не расслышали вас. Не так уж и хорошо для 4х-звездного отеля. Выглядит устаревшим и обшарпанным. Однако расположен в отличном месте и цены приемлемые. Консьерж был услужлив, номер довольно неплох.

I stayed here in April with my 16 year old daughter. The staff were very friendly, well-informed and extremely helpful. I had paid for breakfast and luckily I took along a print-out of my booking because it did not show up on their system but it was all sorted out in a friendly manner. The photos of the hotel's interior are misleading, it is nothing like as grand and luxurious as we expected and the entrance is through a door to the side. The location is second to none. It is a 3 minute walk to the hermitage. Coffee shops abound within 1-2 blocks. The concierge will take the time to steer you in the right direction. Has a sky bar without a great view, kind of an afterthought but an ok place for a quiet drink. There is a pool but I didn't use it. Near public transportation.

I would stay there again if I wanted to visit the main tourist attractions.

Undergoing some reconstruction to the lobby while I was there- which will only make it more fabulous in the future. Handy to the centre and friendly staff. Very warm rooms. Gypsy band plays in restaurant and the dancing near is hilarious. Would stay again.

Having gone just this weekend, this hotel has placed itself firmly in my mind as the worst 4* hotel I've EVER stayed in. The rooms were poor, and the lighting was awful (very yellow and very depressing). The staff were rude and extremely unhelpful on numerous occasions. They would not call a normal taxi, only their taxi company could be used...after […] speaking with a Russian tourist rep, they said that this was not normal, contrary to what the hotel had told me. Moreover, their taxis cost on average 2.5 times as much as getting the taxi yourself. For instance, to get to the hotel, it will cost you 700 P in a normal taxi, with the hotel, it costs 1700. Close to everything you want to see. Avoid the breakfast buffet, too expensive for what they're serving.The staff are top notch, and very knowledgeable of their city.

This was a nice hotel in a great location. The hotel is within a convenient walk to the Hermitage. There are a number of restaurants in the area of the hotel. The spa is relatively small, but does have a jacuzzi and sauna. Internet is available for a charge. It seemed that the rooms were too warm and I was unable to decrease the temperature in my room except for opening a window. This Hotel is within walking distance to: Hermitage, the Admiralty,St. Isaac's Cathedral and Nevskiy Prospekt. It is also close to about 50 places to eat. The hotel also has a nice restrauent. The hotel is in an ideal location, the staff were courteous and responsive. The room was spacious. The only complaint is that the mattress had beg bugs. After initial skepticism when requesting the mattress be sprayed, they changed my room after seeing the bite marks on the back of my neck. No other issues. Enjoyed the pool, spa, and jacuzzi.

Very good location, close to all main attractions but far from metro. Bed and shower are very small. OK service, should be better for 4 stars though

Stayed at the Petro Palace for 2 nights this October, and was pleasantly surprised given the reasonable price. Room was spacious and clean, and the hotel only 5 minutes walk from the Hermitage. Perfect combination for traveling rather than a special weekend.

Comfortable walking distance to the Hermitage and all other places we chose to visit. Great choice of good restaurants nearby too. Felt safe.

We enjoyed so much this hotel. Excellent location at walking distance to many main attractions, nice rooms, breakfast and attentive staff.

The Hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the Hermitage Museum and a block away from St. Isaac Cathedral. We enjoyed staying here and getting a room where our breakfast buffette was included in the price of the room. We stayed in Saint Petersburg for 10 days and we enjoyed ours stay in a very comfortable room, with a good size bathroom with […] a regular shower head and a built in-fan. There were small details that we valued as they made our stay more comfortable. For example, we could use the Computer at the Business Center at no extra cost. Besides the regular breakfast buffette they would cook eggs to order and add bacon, ham, sausage, etc. Our room had a thermometer in both centigrades and farenheit so we could always tell what the temperature was. There was also a 5 day weather report posted at the front desk and it was pretty accurate. The Bear Restaurant downstairs offered a limited menu, but the food was very tasty and at good prices. We ate there about 6 times. We also enjoyed the music featured in the Restaurant. The Concierges were there until late at night every day. Some of them are better than others at providing accurate information. For example, the lady that told us how to get to Pushkin to see Katherine's Palace was very well informed and gave us good directions. On the other hand,when we tried to visit Beloselsky Palace on Nevsky Prospekt we asked another young lady at the Concierge's what type of displays were there in this Museum and she said that it was just "an old palace" with furniture. So, we asked directions and the times that it was opened. She gave us the directions, but she never checked in the computer that she had right infront of her, so as a result, we found out after walking there for half an hour in the rain, that the Museum IS CLOSED AND HAS BEEN CLOSED for along period of time. So, I advise you that if you are interested in seeing something outside The Hermitage and Peterhoff, that you do some research before you come to Sai Подробнее

A classic hotel with good front desk and housekeeping services. Pricey options including mini-bar and lobby drinks. Good elevator service. Bed in our room needed new mattress. A little far to the Metro but good bus service. Over-all, a comfortable place to stay.

We found this hotel to be very good in many ways. Very close to major sites in St Petersburg. Very good rates.

This hotel is perfectly located, just a few minutes walk to Hermitage. Staff speaks english and they are very helpful.

Petro Palace is a great hotel in an ideal location. It's a comfortable walking distance to many of St. Petersburg's sights (Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Neva River) and the rooms are clean and well-maintained.

For a tourist visit to St Petersburg, this hotel has the perfect location. A stone's throw from St Isaacs, The Hermitage, Nevskiy Prospekt; all the main tourist locations are within an easy walk. The hotel just about qualifies its 4 star rating. The lobby area is cramped, corridors are narrow, Bedrooms are spartan but comfortable and clean. The restaurant […] is very good and no more expensive than the restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood. The 'Sky bar' on the top floor is worth a visit, although it is worth noting there is no such thing as a non-smoking bar in Russia. If breakfast is not included in, you are given the choice of paying for the (expensive) full buffet or being shunted around the corner into a small rather 'Soviet' style room for a 'continental' breakfast. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right around the corner from the Hermitage & Nevsky Prospect - the main drag. Great for sight seeing. The hotel itself is old, and the rooms out dated. The staff were all helpful and all spoke English.

The hotel was very convenient because it was a 5 min walk to the Ermitage and located downtown so good for restaurants. However the rooms are completely free of charm, you could be anywhere in the world once you are in that room. PP had many conveniences such as multiple lounges and bars and proximity to key sights such as Winter Palace (Hermitage) and St Isaac''s. Excellent concierge service though expensive taxi services. Great city experience.

The hotel was fine and is in a great locations, there were no problems with it. However, we decided to book a nice 4star hotel as it was my mothers birthday and this one was discounted (although still quite expensive) and I was a little disappointed as I was expecting something a bit more special. 1st class establishment. I was not expecting much, thus I was quite surprised by this 1st class establishment. Big comfortable bed. Immediate hot water in the shower - and great water pressure as well! Super friendly staff and they all spoke better English than most Americans! I've been staying at this hotel regularly for 3 years. It's minutes walk away from Nevsky Prospekt and the Hermitage. The staff are young, helpful and speak perfect English. There is free wifi on the ground floor and on the 7th floor sky bar. Breakfast buffet is expensive but pretty plentiful. Pool and gym are small, but rarely used by others. The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance of many sights and nice restaurants. Our room was nice and the concierge was very helpful, recommending good restaurants, etc. Make sure you include breakfast in your reservation, as I mistakenly did not, and the buffet cost myself, my husband and daughter a small fortune! Luckily, it was located on our floor, but not as convenient as having it in our room. We were disappointed that there was no coffee/tea pot in the room and we were unable to get one. Instead, we had to get a teapot of hot water from the minibar in the lobby whenever we wanted to make a cup of tea. Lastly, our pillows were rather lumpy.
