The dark haired woman at the counter was very helpful, polite and all around great at her job. We appreciated having our room close to the pool and spa. Great location!

Breakfast room was small - not enough chairs/tables for all the guests. Room had been refitted with CFL lighting with very low wattage. Too dark fro much reading. Vanity mirror to dim for shaving and putting on makeup.

I was very satisfied for the money. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night. I would stay there again.

Not a lot of resturant choices comparied to the other side of the bridge. However, our plan was to see the U.P.

Be sure you are getting a good view room, management will put third party schedulers (ie. Hotels.com) will put you in the obstructed view rooms at end that is blocked by trees. Otherwise, the view is beautiful. Beds are very firm, so if you like a soft bed, don't stay here. Breakfast is continental, no hard boiled eggs or anything hot, but ok for basic […] things (cereal, english muffins, yogurt). Pool and spa were nice, kids enjoyed it, management was helpful and tried to be accomodating, housekeepers were great, they were attentive to rooms. Overall, you'll get what you pay for if this is what you eant. I am going to go a little more upscale with softer beds and a better hot breakfast. Подробнее

The room was very clean and well maintained and the hotel was located close to the highway near several restaurants. Even though it appeared full each of the 2 nights we stayed it was quiet and restful.

The only thing we did not find pleasing was that the entry/foyer (between two sets of double doors) of the hotel had a strange odor. Our room was pleasant, odor free, clean. Breakfast was enough for a continental style (fruit, cereal, baked goods, coffee, juice, milk, yogurt). The pool was clean and well kept. Some staff seemed to enjoy their jobs more […] than others but I think that would be anywhere you went. St Ignace is a great place to visit and the Super 8 has a nice view!! I thought the hotel was very convenient- close to the port, great running route along Lake Michigan. I was pleasantly surprised the first night/day. The room was quiet and comfortable. However, the bed was so hard!!! I had a stiff neck the whole vacation. I wish I would've brought a mattress pad from home. Also, after our second night, our room was […] never cleaned. We are not early risers, but when we left the hotel about noon the cleaning crew was in our hallway. Our hotel room on the second floor was clean and comfortable with a great view of the Mackinac Bridge. This hotel is not fancy but everything was adequate for our needs. The breakfast bar did not have a wide variety of foods but the coffee was great. I would definitely stay here again.

I Read all the reviews & was expecting something different than we received. We purchased a room on the lakeside, but when we got there, they were all taken, but we could upgrade. We stayed in the room we were given, due to our budget. The room we stayed in was in decent condition, but it was obvious that the room use to be a smoking room, by the lingering […] smoke smell. Rooms were clean and had ample space. Pool was functioning and clean, as well as hot tub. Staff was friendly, the housekeeping staff even made my stepson's air mattress! Standard cold continental breakfast but there's a few afordable restaurant options near by.

We enjoyed our stay there. We were there for a family function and liked our lakeside view. We would have like it if they would have had a micro/fridge. The room was very clean and the room was quiet. Breakfast was very limited.

We had a beautiful view of the Mackinaw Bridge from the balcony off of our room. We watched the moon rise over the Mac, and the lights on the bridge created its own effect. The room was very clean and the setting restful and relaxing.

We arrived later in the evening on the way to Mackinac Island. The hot tub was great!! The rooms were very nice and had great beds. The only negative was the continental breakfast as it wasn't that great and they were out of many of the items. We would however go back to the hotel, it was nice.

Advertise breakfast, but, only fruitloops or couple of donuts and coffee. rooms were fine, internet did not work in my room, to far from office. had to go there to get on line.

The hotel was great for the price. Swimming pool was well kept! The beds weren't bad but the pillows were horrible. It felt like sleeping on rocks :( If I were to stay there again I would bring my own pillows.

Beautiful beach at this hotel! We were so excited to find that our room came with fridge, microwave, huge jacuzzi tub, and tons of space. Wonderful! Staff members were very polite and helpful. Not sure what rates are like at peak season but definitely reasonably priced for our October trip.

The blow dryer was broke. Room smelled like people have smoked in it. NON smoking hotel. Burn marks on tub. And the sink did not drain, and the kleenex box didn't have any kleenex in it. I know I could get some, but, still it should have been checked by the cleaning people when they cleaned. But nice area, nice hotel, just have to check these things […] when they clean Подробнее

A little more money than we wanted to spend, but it's understandable due to the location. If you don't mind spending a little more for a Super 8, I recommend this hotel. Staff was very friendly and everything was clean and orderly. Nice size rooms too!

We decided to stay for one night at this hotel, before departing for Mackinac Island. The hotel was nice and clean and the room we stayed in had a balcony with a view of the Mackinac Bridge. Would definitely stay there again when visiting St. Ignace.

We spent three nights at the super eight motel with are children and there kids. We liked how we were located so close to so many of the things to do and see. Our grand children had a ball, and after a long day of fun and sight seeing they could enjoy a swim in the pool while we relaxed in the hot tub. We can't wait to go back.

The rooms were clean and the service fine. The pool had a lot of stuff sitting on the bottom and the hot tub had gunky brown foam around the edges.
