Four miles from the town of San Pedro, the Belizean Shores Resort is a secluded Caribbean retreat. Belize is regarded as a Mecca for divers and outdoor enthusiasts. Set on Ambergris Caye 27 miles from Belize City, the resort is in close proximity to the barrier reef and all of the aquatic wonders that can be found there. Miles of undiscovered caves await exploration in this limestone rich region of Latin America. Surrounded by several hundred cayes (islands), lagoons, nature reserves, and Mayan temples concealed by rainforest canopies, the area is as fascinating as it is beautiful.
Hotel Features.
The Belizean Shores Resort is a beachside resort with a relaxing ambience. Coconut palms, hammocks and white sand pathways set the scene with the subtropical climate adding to the illusion of paradise. The resort's pier juts out into the Caribbean Sea. Recreational excursions are offered, including scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing and guided eco-tours. The resort offers an outdoor pool and The Blue Hole swim-up and poolside bar, open from early afternoon to early evening. The Upper Deck Bar & Grill offers 360-degree panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, the resort and the lagoon, serving dinner and cocktails with sunset views. Guests have unlimited access to the volleyball court and sea kayaks, and arrangements for bicycles, golf carts and the island ferry can be made on site.

Each of the condo-style units at the resort features a balcony or patio, most with views of the beach and the sea with some overlooking the pool. Kitchens with refrigerators, ranges and microwave ovens allow for dining in. In-room safes are included for the protection of valuables. Satellite television is available in all units.

Located on a white-sand beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea, this resort features a lovely pool with a swim-up bar, zero-entry edge, and spa tub. Guests enjoy complimentary use of kayaks, as well as tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. Fishing is available at the resort for guests who bring their own equipment.
The resort's activity desk can arrange scuba diving, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, bicycle rentals, and a variety of eco-tours (surcharges).
The Belize Barrier Reef runs parallel along the entire coast of Belize. Access is just a quarter-mile offshore. The Hol Chan Marine Reserve, about four miles south of San Pedro Town, is one of the country's most popular diving areas.

The front desk is open daily from 8AM to 8PM. Guests who plan to arrive outside of normal front desk hours must call the resort at the number on the reservation confirmation in advance of arrival.
Transfer information: From Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE), guests can take a transfer flight (surcharge) to the San Pedro Air Strip, followed by a complimentary resort taxi (advance notice of arrival time required) to the dock. From there, the resort provides complimentary transportation to/from San Pedro (upon arrival/departure only).

"The best staff"
Although comfortable, this is not a hotel of luxury. The most impressive thing about this hotel is the staff. My family visits the Carribeans frequently and we have never seen a more attentive and caring staff. They really go out of their ways and try to meet guests' needs. I cannot thank MaryAnn enough for tracking down my lost lugguge. During blackouts, […] the staff tried to lend my husband his personal cell phone to make an urgent call. "Belizean Shores"
This is a really nice resort. It is very all-inclusive, too. You have a restaurant, tennis court, pool, and a dive tour group right out front to name a few. Everything is very clean and well maintained. You do have to get to it by water taxi from downtown. That isn't a big deal, though, because you can get a pass for unlimited rides in and out and it […] is worth being away from the noise of downtown San Pedro. I definitely recommend this place. "Belizean Shores"
The service and staff were great. Loved the room although furniture a little dated. Great decks off rooms and the absolutely best designed pool I have ever seen! Need golf cart to get around and about a 45 minute trip into San Pedro. Can arrange all tours from dock on site. Definitely relaxing and beautiful landscaping and grounds.
"Beautiful place - great value"
This resort is well kept and a great value for the money. The staff is very friendly and accomadating. Compared to other hotels in this general area, this one was the best as far as we could tell.
"Great Staff"
Stayed at both Coco Beach and Belizean Shores. Coco Beach is newer and nicer, but the Staff at both hotels were phenomenal. Roda, the manager at Belizean Shores was very helpful and very accommodating for us!
"Beautiful hotel!"
Staff is SUPER friendly and helpful! Bathrooms are a little older. Bed was super comfortable. Hotel restaurant had pretty good food but a little overpriced in my opinion. Overall stay was very nice, San Pedro is a beautiful island!!!

"Nothing special, but descent hotel"
We didn't realize it when we booked, but this is more of a condo building where the owners rent out the units. Slightly outdates furniture and fixtures in the rooms, but descent funiture. Our room and I think all of them had a little porch which was nice and convenient. The only way to get to San Pedro was a taxi(we were told around $25) and water taxi […] ($5 per way). The water taxi runs each way about every 2 hours with the last one at 10:30. One time it showed up at 11pm which is really annoying at the end of the night, but it genrally ran on time. The few restuarants that were within 15 minutes walking distance were just as good as the ones in San Pedro so not a big deal if you are fine with just hanging around the hotel. Подробнее
"100% relax"
The place is very nice and pretty. A litlle far away from San Pedro town( where you can find stores and reasonible restaurants). I found all restaurants close to hotel very expensive including the Green Iguana(in hotel). Everything else nice, pool, beach and service.

"SAN PEDRO CON COMFORT"
Ottima maniera per trascorrere qualche giorno in un posto "caruccio" senza spendere un capitale... Cucina splendidamente rifornita di tutti gli utensili necessari per prepararsi pasti succulenti !
"FANTASTISK - NATUROPPLEVELSE"
Service og hotellet var fantastisk. Både rom og uteområdet Det eneste vi har å utsette på det er at det er en dårlig vei fram til hotellet. (stykke fra sentrum) Det vi løste det med var å bruke hotellbåten. Det var ca 1/4 av prisen og mye mer behageligt. Avtal henting med båt på forhand. Kan anbefale også "snorkleturer" fra hotellet
