Отель в миле от ближайшего поезда и окружен животноводческими фермами и пастбищами. А рекламирует отель себя по прибытии как агротуризм. Ресторан не сообщает цен до […] времени чек-аута, получается очень дорого. Наша бронь была на два номера, а они утверждали, что отель полностью заполнен. В середине четырехчасовой вечеринки они предложили нам переселиться, значит, у них были свободные номера. Очень слабо говорили по-английски, они не привыкли к гостям из-за пределов Италии. Нет кондиционера, слишком далеко до Рима, чтобы смотреть достопримечательности. Мы очень расстроены. Реклама в интернете вводит в заблуждение, там ничего не сказано об агротуризме и сельской местности. Водитель фургона никогда о нем не слышал. Очень изолированный, неудобный, услуги не те, что заявлены. Нет: кондиционера, телевизора, душа, микроволновки, льда... Если вы не можете гулять и не арендуете машину, то такое расположение не для вас.

Сам отель и его деревенская пристройка находятся в 800 метрах друг от друга. Если вы хотите остановиться здесь ради близости к аэропорту и экономии в расстоянии, то зря, стоимость такси до/из Рима примерно такая же, как до/из отеля, хотя расстояния очень отличаются. Место находится внутри древнего/археологического/исторического города. Древняя деревня […] очень маленькая, но очень интересная, в ней есть два милых местных ресторана. Нам нужно было убить пол дня под Римом, и это было отличным местом. Это реальная сельская местность, потому что находится среди куриных ферм и полей и пахнет соответствующе, но как-то по-своему мило, по-настоящему. Думаю, у них много разных типов номеров. Этот отель рекламируют как близкий к аэропорту. Фактически он в нескольких милях, но единственный транспорт, который мы смогли найти — это такси, и менее чем 5 миль нам обошлись в 50 долларов. It was an incredible experience staying in a small house in the Borge - the old walled city, with its 15th Century castle, all a short walk from the Roman ruins. Advice: First, the Borge location is just inside the gate. It's associated with the restaurant (not always open) just outside the gate and with the Country location about a mile away. The property is well maintained and the people very nice but it is NOT near the airport and while they will "arrange a shuttle" for you, you must pay 30 euros each way to the airport making the hotel cost an additional 60 E. This hotel is in a 1200 year old piazza. Wonderful history surrounds you. The people do not speak much english but are very willing to try. The village is charming. Across the street the merchant wanted us to try all of his wines. Such a pleasant rest after the fast pace of Rome.

We had a good experience. They gave us an upgraded room. The Delphine apt was very nice. Being there in the winter however, it was a little cold. There are two offices, one in town and one in the country and I don't think they realize that someone arriving may not know that there are two offices, or which one to go to, and if you sit around waiting for them to just arrive (like the sign suggests) you may be waiting a long while. There is no one on duty. Family members come and go. There is no phone in the room in case of an emergency. Even if there were, there is no one in the office. The room is primitive...peeling paint on some walls and ceilings. TV mostly has a fee and is difficult to manage. No tables in the living room. I would never recommend this place.

I was not pleased with this accommodation. It in my opinion is not a four star facility but perhaps a two star. One bathroom being shared by three rooms is not my idea of a good place to be. I didn't know exactly what to expect when booking this hotel because of the varied reviews. I was under the impression that I was getting a small cabin in the woods or something very private as I opted for the country rooms. The description made it seem like I would be staying at a cottage or something old and romantic What is actually there is a rectangular […] building that's been turned into a duplex. You enter through a main door, have a center room with tv and couch, and each room has their own door to the left and the right. The actual room was very spacious and was clean. There is no ac and the windows stay open for ventilation so there is a bit of a musty smell I guess, but not like you're in a cellar or anything. Some of the other reviews were a bit too critical on that. It's an old house so the smells are on par with that. The only real gripe I would make is that the bed should be upgraded. It's seen its fare share of use and is a bit springy feeling. Oh, and there wasn't a stand up shower, just a tub with a handheld showerhead so anticipate that. I also had to throw a towel over the bathroom window as it just had a doily over it and you could clearly see inside from the parking area. Ok, as for finding it...as the other reviews say, none of the taxi drivers know about it for some reason and the taxi drivers in Italy will take any fare as long as they think they can find it so bring a map. If you don't have a map, just remember to tell them that it's across the street from Ostia Antica. They should all know where that is. Oh, and yes, expect to pay between 30 and 40 euro for a trip to or from the airport. I asked for a taxi to the airport and they arranged one to pick me and my wife up. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit rundown. There is graffiti everywhere but it seems to be the case everywhere around Rome. This was a great stay for us! We chose it because of the close proximity to the airport for our last night in Italy. That aspect was great...in 10 minutes, we were at the airport. But...we didn't expect such cozy and charming accomodations!! We were staying with friends, so booked 2 countryside rooms (the main hotel was full). I am so glad we did! We […] had two adjoining rooms (suites really) that shared a living room with a fireplace. It was nice and cool at night when we were there(early October), but the cottages DO NOT have air conditioning, which may not be so great in July or August. (There was a fan in the room). They were like cozy cottages...wish we had more time there. Each side had its own separate bedroom and bathroom. The bathrooms were super-modern and clean. There was even a little refrigerator in each room, stocked with beverages (available for a fee). Beds were comfy, although a little hard. Breakfast was very good: pastries, cappucino, fresh fruit...not a whole lot, but it was good. Some cautions: DO NOT try to find this hotel in the dark...it is very hard to find, even in the day. The countryside rooms are best for those with a car, as they are literally down a country road and away from any restaurants etc. Also note...chickens and roosters next door! Great if you want to get up early, probably not so great if you don't. It is RIGHT NEXT TO the CASTLE Gulio...and many ruins. We had planned to see them but arrived too late...looked very neat and worth spending half a day there. Everyone in the office that we encountered were SUPER nice!! Definitely not a four star hotel, maybe a 1 or 2 star. Rooms were dirty, no hair dryer, no air conditioning, fly flying around the dessert table. The only plusses about the hotel were that, the train station was within walking distance and the Rome Fiumicino airport 15 min. away.

I went to this hotel worrying because of all of the bad reviews it had gotten before, but it seems that the staff has read the reviews and taken the time to address the problems. First, we were just stunned by how beautiful the hotel was and the location. Very picturesque. It was close to the airport and easy to find (look for the castle turet across […] from Ostria ruins). When we checked in, the conceriege upgraded our room to a small apartment in the village with windows facing the medival village. We had a small kitchen and the bedroom was on the second floor. A fan was in the room, which served to cool it down and also drown out any noise. The hot water worked in the morning after the switch was turned on the night before to heat it. It was clean, just the chair coverings were stained and a little tired. The room smelled smoky - not from cigarettes, but because it was built in the 1100's and from years of fires. Parking was free and easy. The ride to the airport in the morning was easy too. It took 10 minutes in rush hour. All in all, it was a GREAT stay. Chocolate mints, toiletries (which we did not see a lot of in Italy), and a picturesque village made for a lovely stay. OH - and there is a FABULOUS restaurant within the ramparts. The Hotel Rodrigo is a quaint hotel within easy reach of the Rome airport (30 euro taxi 15 minutes). It is clean and interesting but do not stay anytime between July and early September... they have no air conditioning.

My wife, 5 year-old son and I went on a recent vacation and wanted to stay somewhere near the Fiumicino airport on our last night in Italy - to save cost and minimize delay. I searched for a hotel near the airport at a decent cost and Rodrigo de Vivar came up as a good choice. After arriving back in the Fiumicino airport we figured it would be a quick […] taxi ride. However, none of the taxi drivers were aware of the hotel! We finally figured out where it was but when we arrived it was not as expected. What I didn't realize is that we booked a 'countryside cottage' instead of a regular room! Arriving in pitch black, driving into what appeared to be 'the middle of nowhere', and being further from the airport than expected we were a little panicked. However, after putting our bags in our room, saying 'hi' to a few horses, and sitting down to a wonderful dinner it all worked out in the end. I would recommend staying here...but know what you ar ebooking and avoid the shock :) A van picked us up and brought us to reception to have a continental breakfast (included) and the Ostia ruins were only a 3-block walk away. The sea is about 3km's away which is too far for most people to walk. Keep this in mind as I thought we'd have the opportunity to dip our toes without the need for a taxi or bus. Подробнее

We had a 23 hour stop-over in Rome and decided to stay here because it is fairly near the airport and there were sights to see in our time there. Our taxi driver had a hard time finding it but did not rip us off on the fare. Once we arrived we were put in a room overlooking the castle there. There are quite a few restaurants in the area and are reasonably priced and the staff at all were very friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our last night in Italy. The photos available on Hotels.com included two shots of an outdoor pool, and we were really looking forward to relaxing after our two week vacation. The staff member looked utterly confused when I asked about the pool, and then said it was 3 km away and that we would need to take a bus […] to get there. The room itself was on a very busy street (nothing "resort" about it), and didn't feel completely safe with barred windows and door. It was convenient to the ruins, and close to the airport. The staff did arrange for a 5:30 am taxi for us, but didn't tell us that the 10 minute ride would cost 35 Euro, due in advance with no change available. This hotel is very convenient to Rome's airport and next to some of the most extensive Roman ruins. There are restaurants within feet of the hotel and the hotel staff is more than willing to help with travel arrangements. Dette er et kjempegreit hotel å bo på siste natten før hjemreise. Det ligger kun 10 min fra flyplassen, og det er garantert køfritt. Byen hotellet ligger i har ikke all verden å by på etter kl 17:00, men du finner en pizzarestaurant, en cafe og minibank. Men så er kanskje det også det de viktigste behov siste kvelden før hjemreise...? Hotellet ligger […] i forbindelse med en en bygningsmasse vi oppfattet som en typisk "gamleby", med smale gågater og brostein. Veldig koselig. Rommene holder helt grei standard, men radiatorovnene virket ikke, så det var litt kaldt å oppholde seg på rommet før legge tid. Vårt rom var mer som en leilighet, med stue og kjøkken på bakkeplan, og soverom og bad i andre etasje. Myke og gode senger. Fast pris for taxi til flyplassen er 30 Euro, litt dyrt, ettersom det bare er 10 min unna. Taxi fra Roma Termini til hotellet kostet ca 45 Euro, 30 min. 翌日の出発時間の為に泊まりました。したがって到着が遅く、出発も早い時間でした。近くにオスティア遺跡などもあり見学できなかった事が残念です。 また、空港からタクシーを利用しましたが、ドライバーがホテルを間違えたりして散々でした。というのも建物が古城を思わせますのでドライバー自身がホテルと認識していなかった様です。

Utrolig nær flyplassen, og ypperlig for de som trenger overnatting før avreise, uten antydning til Flystøy. Vi fikk suite inne i Borggården, med 2 lekre soverom og stort bad. Vi havde søgt et hotel nær lufthavnen p.g.a. afrejse tidlig næste morgen. Vi forventede at kunne tage et godt tiltrængt bad og få en god nats søvn efter en lidt hård dag i Pompei og på Vesuv. Vi fik en lille mørk lejlighed, der lugtede af fugt. Der var så lidt tryk på vandet i badeværelset, at jeg måtte opgive at vaske hår. Hverken vi - eller vores søn og svigerdatter, der havde et tilsvarende rum, kunne sove i det fugtige, varme rum.
